I had recently come to Vallejo after going to Six Flags and was seriously craving boba. I was helped by a girl named Jessica. She was extremely rude when I had asked numerous questions because I had never been to a Quickly before. I know it's been a long day and it was night time, but it's a customer service job and I was expecting at least a civil communication. When I had received my drink I didn't even know it was ready until I walked over to the side and just saw it sitting there. Hopefully these kinds of things get improved because I will be back over summer constantly going to Six Flags. Don't buy from here. I did not receive the refund for food they told me was out until after payment and suggested I talk to my bank to get the refund. I never try to post a negative review but out of all of the Quickly locations I've been to, this one was a disappointment. The employees were rude. The girl at the cashier glared at me when I said "hi how are you" and ignored me. Before that, the person in front of me couldn't pay their order and immediately after he left, her and her coworker both started laughing. I then get my drink and it had no sweetener at all. The lady making the drinks also just left it there on the counter without saying a word. I said thank you and she just walked away, didn't even look at me. I've been to this location twice. On both occasions the cashier was rude and unwelcoming. The inside of Quickly looked filthy each time -floors/tables. I continuously sipped GRIT from my milk tea both visits. "Quickly" is right.. Slow down and take the time to ensure the contents of the drink are mixed properly before serving. Disgusting. Finally, boba at the gateway plaza! I went on a Sunday night so it was slightly busy, but there were at least 5 workers in front. Tried this place multiple times before writing a review thinking they would improve... So far they've only gotten worse. Ordered a jasmine milk green tea the first time and it was bland. Tasted sooooo watered down I almost didn't want to finish it. Plus the boba has no flavor. Second and third time I went, ordered a lychee green tea and the there wasn't even a hint of lychee in it. And still no flavor in the boba! My friend tried their fried chicken meal (or whatever it was) aaaaaand no flavor in the chicken, and the texture of the rice was soooo off. It was mushy and wet. Three stars because they are consistent with the drinks I usually get. But then again that isn't saying much since I don't order anything crazy off the menu (I don't order food here, either). With that being said, the cashier is usually very pleasant and I enjoy that they never forget to ask for my phone number so I can get a free drink after purchasing "X" amount. I know they have gone through remodeling once or twice, but it is to a point where the floors are a little gross (either sticky or dirty), and the tables are rarely wiped down. BOBA. MILK TEA. If you live in the bay area, there's a chance that you love one, the other, or BOTH. For such ones, Quickly exists in the bay area. Though there have been more grassroots-ish type shops on the rise when it comes to boba, these guys were some of the first to arrive on the scene to bring it to bring it to the masses. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of boba and milk tea in general, but I do like my cold frozen sweets. On that, my review is based on. Just like any Quickly or boba spot in the bay, you've got lots of options to choose from here. Hot and cold are always options. Regular milk teas, iced varieties, and a whole plethora of toppings, mix-ins, flavors, etc. Though I don't do boba often, my favorites are Oreo and the chocolate milk tea with a scoop of vanilla ice cream mixed. Though this amounts to something of a milkshake, it does have a unique taste that differentiates it a bit. It's not super full-on dessert-y, but if that's not your thing to begin with, you might be inclined to give this place a shot. Service has always been good here, no complaints. I've not had an order go wrong or forgotten, so that's always a good thing. The joint itself is comfortable and casual. I've never seen it messy or anything. Come on the right night, and you might even see a Smash Bros or Street Fighter 5 tournament going on. If you're FGC inclined, enter and see if you have what it takes. All in all, this is a decent spot. But only really if 1) you're into boba and 2) you live in Vallejo and don't feel like venturing any further into the bay area. If your preferences hit those two check boxes, then you'll like this place quite a bit. Otherwise, there are some very attractive options out there if you're the adventurous type. read more

So ask for one when you're there, last time I was there they did run out but they stamped the back of my receipt to count. Their drinks are starting to get better and not taste as watered down. As a boba connoiseur, I can say that the boba and milk tea here is pretty freakin awesome for Vallejo status boba (no offense to the Tapioca Express in vallejo...but kind of some offense). Boba texture and quality varies a bit with each visit, but one time I got boba and it was warm, fluffy, fresh, and all around very stimulating to the pleasure centers of my brain. Other times I would say the boba is decently soft and chewy, good size, and around room temperature since sometimes they shake the boba in the milk tea (which I'm not a fan of since I like warm boba). As far as milk tea quality goes, I've only really tasted the jasmine green milk tea because that's my favorite and they've made it SPOT ON every single time. The concentrations of sweetness and tea and milk are perfectly harmonious and balanced, and always leave you wanting more which is why I always get a chubby sized cup. No complaints here. On top of it all, this Quickly rightfully deserves its name because they QUICKLY made my order within about 1-2 minutes and then I was merrily on my way to inhale my newfound boba love. read more

Glad that this new boba joint has opened up closer to my family's home in Vallejo! Their service is quick and efficient, their space is clean (albeit hot, given that their AC is broken right now). Their boba are sweet, consistent, and have a great texture. Try the Tiger Tea (Thai iced tea + black milk tea), or my favorite, the passion fruit slush (perfect on a hot day). Their fried snacks will satisfy your hunger and compliment the sweet/cold/sour goodness of your drinks. This review is more for Kirk and in regards to catering for our wedding day. Kirk made everything effortless and easy. He was very communicative throughout the whole process. He made it very simple by supplying us with the milk tea (as well as the containers to hold the milk tea, other places required us to bring our own containers), straws, and boba. Even though Kirk was not necessarily there for all the in person interactions, his staff was aware of what we needed and were able to attend to us promptly. The milk tea we opted for were jasmine green milk tea and tiger milk tea (combination of Thai tea and regular milk tea). The Thai tea was an absolute hit, it was completely devoured by the time the night was over. The Thai tea was the perfect mixture of the two without one flavor being more overpowering compared to the other. The jasmine green milk tea was the perfect about of bitterness and sweetness that you would expect from a jasmine milk tea. We did have extra regular jasmine milk tea that the staff was kind enough to transfer them into boba cups for us to take home when we stopped by the shop the next day to return the containers! We got 12 gallons of milk tea total for a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this location for catering for an event whether it be a wedding or a party OR this is an awesome boba place to stop by and quench your thirst whenever you are in the Vallejo/American Canyon/Napa area. The shop itself is quite large so it can seat a number of groups. It is definitely one of the larger Quickly or even boba shops I have ever seen. probably the best place to get a real ICE slush is at Quickly. lots of flavors to choose from. The also sell the milk tea's and the snow drinks. I haven't tried any of those yet. I was really excited to finally have a new boba place in Vallejo aside from Tapioca Express, but the service today didn't give me good hopes that Quickly will be a good alternative. The line to take orders moved pretty quickly, but the wait for our drinks took too long. Their numbering system seems almost arbitrary. Six groups who ordered after us got their drinks first, and when our drinks finally came (after having to ask the workers about it), two of the four were made wrong. One drink should have had aloe, but came with green jelly. Turns out they gave us both aloe and green apple jelly (I do recall the workers asking each other multiple times if there was any aloe left). Another drink came I'm the wrong size altogether. At that point, we were ready to grab our drinks and go, so we didn't notice the size error until we left. Quickly has only been open a short time, so for now, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they're probably still getting their workers trained properly. I'm a once in a "blue moon pearl drink" drinker. The menu board is gi-normous! They have all kinds of different drinks. It's quite overwhelming! My one comment... is if there was a possibility to give a small description of the different drinks. They are pretty efficient in making the drinks.. the wait isn't too long; however if you are ordering food... be willing to wait a few. 5 times I've shown up before 10pm (which is their advertised close time on Yelp and IN THE FRONT OF THEIR STORE) and they were closed! Why? I don't know. They're alright... Sometimes. Everytime I come here the snows are inconsistent. Always really icy and not smooth and milky. They're always too icy and it takes away from the flavor. The milk teas are good, sometimes a little watery tho :( The snacks are really good. I will usually go with the steak fries, popcorn chicken, or fried Oreos.
