I was really excited to finally have a new boba place in Vallejo aside from Tapioca Express, but the service today didn't give me good hopes that Quickly will be a good alternative. The line to take orders moved pretty quickly, but the wait for our drinks took too long. Their numbering system seems almost arbitrary. Six groups who ordered after us got their drinks first, and when our drinks finally came (after having to ask the workers about it), two of the four were made wrong. One drink should have had aloe, but came with green jelly. Turns out they gave us both aloe and green apple jelly (I do recall the workers asking each other multiple times if there was any aloe left). Another drink came I'm the wrong size altogether. At that point, we were ready to grab our drinks and go, so we didn't notice the size error until we left. Quickly has only been open a short time, so for now, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they're probably still getting their workers trained properly. The drinks tasted fine despite the wait and errors. Let's hope they do better in the upcoming months. read more

I bought a regular sized popcorn chicken to go. I didn't taste one until I was on the road and it was salty as hell. I actually had to throw it away and I don't like wasting food. I'm hoping that this was just a minor incident by the cook or maybe it tastes salty all the time. I waited for a while just for one order of popcorn chicken. Quickly is one of those OG boba spots that fulfills the cravings - not necessarily because it's the best around. I always get a classic pearl milk tea or green tea at Quickly, but this time decided to try the Earl Grey milk tea. My companions got a honey lemon green tea and black milk tea with masubi. The spam masubis were pretty good! Unlike most snack spots that over compensate with rice, this had the right ratio of spam and rice. Drinks are decent, but then again it is the typical teeny bopper spot with the high school employees. Location is much better compared to the TapEx in Vallejo for high schoolers to hang out (not to sound like a concerned mother, but really though). It was jammed packed when we stopped by for some boba. I had high hopes seeing how many customers there were standing in line, but the drinks were decent. I got the Red Bean Milk Tea with sea salt crema and boba added to the toppings and Thai Tea as the base. The red bean texture were a little too mushy for me, but the boba was fantastic. Not too hard nor not too soft. The texture had a nice bounce (if that makes any sense). There also was too much boba added in however and little of the tea. I come here 2-3x/week, service is great. Staff are friendly. You can request to adjust the level of sweetness (i.e. 50% 75% sugar), you can also request for no ice or less ice. Pearls are always cooked perfectly. This is my own version of Starbucks, where I can work while drinking my favorite milk tea. Quickly has made is long awaited debut in the Vallejo Plaza shopping center on Friday Feb 13. The lines were out the door during the opening weekend and i suspect that it will remain that way for the years to come. Don't worry about the wait, it is worth it. The staff is very attentive and will get your order out in no time. The place is great for groups or all ages. I prefer this location of Quickly's in Vallejo compared to the Quickly's location in American Canyon. Quickly's is like the McDonalds version of boba, imo. Out of all the Quicklys I've been to (Concord, Pleasant Hill, Berkeley) this one is my favorite. In general, I would consider my standards of Quicklys on par with the level that the class of food Panda Express would be in the food world (not as low as McDonalds fast food but not as high a status as like a sushi restaurant if that makes sense). If you expect more from Quicklys then of course you'd be disappointed. (It'd be like going to Discovery Kingdom and expecting DK to be Disneyland.) ANYWAY this place is great. The workers are nice and you usually don't have to wait too long for drinks/food. It can get pretty busy in the evenings, especially on the weekends. If you go at 11AM on a weekday there will be no one in line. One thing that caught me by surprise is the quality of their food. It doesn't seem like they just throw shit into the microwave and hand it over to you. I sometimes get their beef teriyaki bowls and from my past experiences with other Quicklys I don't expect it to be great but so far the beef has been tasty and tender each time. Another thing that surprised me as well is that they have spam masubi! I haven't ordered any yet but I feel good as a customer knowing that I don't have to go all the way to the other side of the parking lot to order a side snack of spam masubi. Another thing I also realized is this place is always well lit. The other Quicklys I've been to seem like caves compared to this one. The lighting is a small detail but for me it adds to the experience... like "Hey we're Quicklys and we care so much about our customers that we want to be able to see your face!" Oh and this is the most spacious Quicklys I've been to. (Berkeley is probably only 1/5th the size of this place, Concord in the Park and Shop is a little less than half the size, I think Pleasant Hill one is around the same size but lighting makes a huge difference.) I thought I'd never go back to Quicklys because of all the tea places that have opened down in the Concord area, but this Vallejo location is convenient and they have a flavor that I can't find anywhere else- rose milk tea. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered an avocado snow drink, which is supposed to have blended ice in it. However, by the time I got my drink, all of the ice was already melted and it was just liquid!!! I saw that they finished my drink with somebody else's order, but they didn't call my number when it was done. It was like they made it and left it to sit on the counter and melt! Been going to this Quickly's ever since they opened in Vallejo. My regular is jasmine milk green tea w/ lychee jelly (BOMB.com) lol. I stopped going for about 5-6 months but when I came back to grab a drink, they still remembered what I got! I felt special. The customer service is great too. Honestly I don't know why I keep giving this place a chance. I'm never satisfied with my drink. No offense to the workers, they're doing just fine but the quality in drinks are just ok. Ordered a peach green tea: there was barely any peach flavor and it tasted watered down. I couldn't taste the tea. I asked the girl to add another pump of syrup and still it wasn't good. Ordered a watermelon slush: it tasted like the rind of a watermelon. No sweetness. Again, totally watered down. That's the first time I've had a slush where there was barely any flavor. Call me a boba snob I'm sorry but Quickly isn't bomb. But really I suppose if u were really craving boba and you didn't want to venture out then you can come here. The customer service was okay and the location has two tvs. The only thing I would recommend is to buy bigger tables for groups. also their drinks taste like sewer water (I've never tasted any but I would imagine that's how it would taste). I'm wary of making Yelp reviews unless I believe they're to be constructive...so here we go! I'm glad Vallejo recently got another boba shop in a decent location. A lot of people come here as a "catch up" spot and you're more than likely going to run into someone you know if you're a Vallejo native. Not an ideal study space as its loud and there isn't any free wifi (I'm not crying a river over it, trust me). There's also a lot of signs all over the place to not touch things or put your feet certain places. They used to have bios of their employees posted on the wall, but I'm glad they took it down. Putting out too much information of their employees might compromise their safety. They have TV's that play random YouTube videos, music videos or movies. Sometimes they might not be appropriate for all ages. The dining area isn't clean or organized very often. Some tables with have 6 chairs while others have none. Some tables will also be sticky with sauces, but if you're a decent, non-lazy person, you'd suck it up and clean it yourself. I'm hardly greeted when waking in, but I don't blame them if it's busy. The only person that seems to be in a decent mood when working is whoever is on cashier. If you order both food and drinks, you're more likely to get your drink first and sometimes the employees greet you goodbye before you even get your food. On a good note, they're open later than most surrounding businesses although lines can be long. I'll be back often. read more

Some pros are stamp cards and discount Mondays for this location (so I've heard) which is the reason for the full set of stars Ordered: -Thai, Tiger, & Almond Milk Tea -Caramel&Hazelnut Flirty Milk -Strawberry Jelly Juice When they first opened I would order Thai Milk Tea and Tiger Milk Tea to be safe and my experience went better than others. They tasted as expected, maybe a little watered down. Later on someone recommended Flirty Milk with whole milk which was better than expected as they were frothy and lighter than regular milk teas. Their Jelly Juice in my opinion is basically flavored sugar water; emphasis on the sugar, but my little cousin was the one who ordered it and he liked it (not surprising lol). Their boba, grass jelly, and pudding have all been as expected, good but nothing special. Pros: -decent/cheap pricing -good drinks -a lot of "toppings" to add -good area -stamp cards -discount Mondays -good service attitude Cons: -service is slow when busy so prepare to wait -no seating when busy -running out of ingredients early in the day -watered down (varies with drink/preparer) -service can be seen as unprofessional I haven't tried their food yet but will do so in the future as many people seem to enjoy it.
