It was very delicious. I also ordered the taro milk tea with boba. They really made the taro from scratch. It was definitely very different from taro milk teas I had before (especially from those that came from powder). If I ordered it again, I may up the sugar to 50% instead. Given that I already went twice, I will definitely be back to try other drinks!

They did a recent update for their interiors with merchandise so it looks more upscale and clean. I love their surprise series where you get a drink where you get a blind cup for Sanrio character plushies for example. They have a couple claw machines. They also have a self order kiosk for you to optionally order your own drinks or snack food. Fun little place to hang out. A few small tables are outside as well. Will be back again!

The inside is very clean and relaxing and is a very good place to meet friends or study. I've placed pickup orders more times than I can count, and have also met up with friends and studied there a few times. The drinks are all so amazing!! My family and I have tried at least half of the menu and everything I've tried has been a new favorite. I am always torn between trying something new or getting the orange bianco milk tea, pistachio matcha, or Seoul coffee. They are all very balanced and not overly sweet and you can taste how much care for quality and detail was put into building all of these drinks. They also have options like lactose-free whole milk, oat milk, and 2%. The owner and staff are also always very friendly and always happy to help. Last July they had a banana pudding matcha that was really good (pictured here next to my usual pistachio matcha), and they have had a really good and unique variety of seasonal drinks in the past. I've also tried some of the croffles and those are also very good. I love trying new cafes but the quality and balance of TeaMakers and Company almost always wins in my opinion.

Our second visit we ordered the orange bianco, along with the cream earl grey milk teas. Both also wonderful. Today we ordered the raspberry chocolate milk tea and cocoa cream matcha. I may sound like a broken record, but yes, they were wonderful. It is NOT a boba tea shop; it was, but no longer. Incidentally, if you come the "back" way, entering off Warner vs Dobson, the signage on the back side still says Ni Hao. :-) Since we've already visited them three times, I think it's pretty clear we would highly recommend their teas.

The taste and quality is superb and unmatched. It's delicate yet subtle. The complexity is there, with rich boldness and flavors that highlight the original leaf. It reminds me of being back in Hokkaido in Japan. Definitely recommend it. It tasted just like the Matcha back in Japan. Next time I'm trying the Matcha cake roll. Seating is quite ample and there's a small bar section on the side, which is great for studying. It's quite comfortable here as the wooden dust and tables really give it a great ambience for getting work done! Music selection was on-point. Loved it. Service is amazing! Super friendly!!! I think if you're looking for a creamier, thicker ice cream option, The Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko in Tempe might be a better option.
