Craving some Southeast Asian cuisine, heard about Champa Garden, so we went to check them out on a…read moreweekday for dinner at 7 pm. Parking wasn't too difficult. We found a spot on a side street a block away. This Thai/Laos eatery was dimly lit with a cozy atmosphere. When we arrived, only a few tables were occupied, so we were seated quickly. They have a variety on the menu: starters, salads, noodle soups, pan fried noodles, stir-fries, seafood, vegetarian, curries, fried rice, specials, sides, & desserts. *** O U R P I C K S *** CHAMPA WINGS ~ sweet & spicy, dry pepper fried chicken wings. The wings were quite small, but we got 10 flats. Tasty, but not too spicy. Comparable to the wings you'd get from San Tung or Korean fried chicken wings. 4/5 CHAMPA SAMPLER ~ Lao sausages, fried rice ball salad, & fried spring rolls. Tasty generous platter! It comes with vermicelli noodles and lots of fresh lettuce and herbs so you can make lettuce wraps. Spring rolls were crispy and delicious. I think this was the highlight of our meal. 5/5 LARP LAO STYLE (Duck) SALAD ~ prepared with mint, onions, fish paste, cilantro & Thai eggplants. Alone, the duck is pretty salty. But eating it with the provided lettuce and herbs balanced the flavors and cut the saltiness. Unique and bold flavors. 4/5 PAD THAI ~ thin rice noodles, tamarind, eggs, bean sprouts, and chicken. Flavor was on point, but the noodles were a bit wet and overcooked. 3.5/5 GINGER FISH ~ battered catfish, minced pork, ginger, onions, bell peppers, and mushroom. This tasted more like a Chinese dish. The fish were filet pieces deep fried with a batter covered in a brown sauce. This dish tasted ok, but nothing special. 3.5/5 A few dishes stood out like the Champa sampler and Larp Lao style duck salad. We enjoyed our meal and we'll definitely make our way back when the craving hits!

The Tom Kha soup was the highlight of the meal. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with a nice balance of coconut, citrus, and herbs. It was so good that George is still finishing the leftovers today. Between the two of us, we got about four servings out of it, which felt like a great value. Unfortunately, the Pad See Ew was a letdown. The dish was greasy, lacked depth of flavor, and had very little beef. I ended up contacting customer support to request a partial refund because the portion of protein was so disappointing. For a dish like Pad See Ew, you expect tender slices of beef, chewy rice noodles, and a balanced savory and slightly sweet soy flavor with a bit of char from the wok, but this version fell short. Overall, the soup was excellent and worth ordering again, but the noodle dish did not meet expectations. I have heard good things about this place and hope this was just an off day.

I ate at Le Soleil at their Clement location many years ago and it wasn't all that memorable. I'm happy to report that this location surpassed all my expectations. We are a family of six and ordered a variety of food to share. The mussels was tasty if you like the tom yum it came in. The quail came in a hot plate where they then proceed to flambee it with some lemon and pepper. The chicken lollipops were piping hot and worth a try. All were about a 4/5. We also ordered the Garlic Roasted crab and it was huge. It came on top of a plate of buttery and garlicky noodles. Cooked perfectly and plenty to go around. Green bean and spinach in an egg drop slurry round out our meal with some vegetables. The highlight of the night was the Lao Mei Rice. The pork tenderloin in there was 6/5. It was deliciously umami and so tender. One of the best I ever had. Service was also top notch. They were friendly, helpful and quick to offer suggestions and replaced water and plates with a smile.

This place is situated in the back of the food court next to supreme dumplings and it seems pretty unassuming at first, but when we're arrived we were promptly seated even though we were running late for our reservation. We ordered the tom yum mussels, lollipop chicken, braised short rib, miso butter mushrooms and the mango sticky rice to finish. This has been said before but the mussels were some of the best mussels we've ever had! The sauce was the perfect balance of tangy, sweet, savory and sour complemented by amazingly plump mussels. The braised short rib tasted like it was in a coconut curry sauce and had crispness like they had battered and fried it after it has been braised which offered a satisfying texture with the sauciness of the dish. The miso butter mushrooms were good, however I was hoping for some crispness in the mushrooms honestly; I thought they were good, but I didn't think they were excellent. The lollipop chicken was really flavorful; crunchy and well battered in the outside and most and savory meat. It tasted great with the sauce but honestly was good without it too. And the mango sticky rice was great! We paired it with coconut ice cream and it went perfectly. This was just a great night out and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

They have a menu that goes beyond just your typical noodle soups - items ranging from Malaysian‑style curry laksa, spicy roasted duck ramen, to XO sauce dry noodles! We tried a few things and everything felt fresh and satisfying. The house special curry laksa had a rich, creamy broth with just the right amount of spice, and the duck dishes were especially good with tender meat and savory sauces that clung perfectly to the noodles. The small bites like spring rolls and dumplings were nice starters for our group of 4. The service was friendly and quick, with generous portions - exactly the spot we were looking for! I'll be coming back to try even more off the menu next time.

The spring rolls were really crispy and the sauce that they use on the side adds a nice sweetness to it. My favorite part of my meal however were the noodles. The noodles were flavorful and the duck was tender. I also loved how generous the portions are and the price is very affordable. If you're into affordability, generous portions, high quality noodles, and great service, I highly recommend checking this spot out. Try it out if you like. :)

This place is such a good value spot, with all meals being under $10 and huuuge portions! I was super full after finishing it, and there's definitely room for leftovers. This place is pick up only and parking can be a bit of a pain. It's also cash only. It looks a little dirty and tight inside, but can't complain since the food is so cheap. There's a few minutes of wait time after your order is placed, but not complaints with how fast they move. I've also seen them handle phone orders. I usually get the jumbo fried quarter leg chicken silog, which comes with garlic rice, egg, and pineapple chunks. The chicken is a bit bland but it does come with sauce. I also added a few slices of spam for a few more bucks. Next time I'd love to try the HK style pork chop and baby bangus. A solid place for a cheap meal!

There are no ATM's nearby especially since Walgreens closed down. I used to go to this place after school, long before it has become the popolar place it is now for Silog plates. The menu has changed a bit, it's a lot simpler but do offer the classics of:tocino, longanisa, and H.K. fried pork chop. We went here yesterday, and for 7 plates 2 of which were combos it was about $65. Which is a steal nowadays. We had: 1. Tocino/longanisa combo: Both items are delicious. If you eat a lot of rice, I would recommend getting a plate of each. Only because for $2.50 more you can get garlic rice and egg 2. Tapa: My niece said she loved this and the meat was so tender 3. H.K. Style porkchop: I was a little disappointed with this. The pork chop was so thin, it was like jerky. Maybe it was a off day? People always talk so highly about this. 4. Smoked boneless bangus (tinapang): My dad liked this one and said it was pretty good Overall, food was delicious and will be back soon. Parking is a little tough. I do recommend calling to place your order, that way you know they're open.
