I love HK cafes so much and it's getting a little harder and harder to find them honestly. 2546 cafe definitely met the bill to fulfill the craving. It looks like it used to be H & L cafe but very recently rebranded.
We ordered a pork and chicken steak spaghetti, a pork and preserved vegetable stir fried rice noodle, and a beef stew curry pan fried noodle. Every dish was pretty good and fairly generous on portion. The spaghetti definitely hit all the nostalgia notes so it was my runaway favorite but I thought the curry pan fried noodle was actually really tasty! The rice noodle left a little to be desired because the pork was little nuggets as opposed to maybe pork cheek which is a little more traditional to give you that crisp porky bite. The noodles were nice and loose though.
When the waitress asked if we wanted drinks, we quickly found out that they were actually out of stock of a lot of things....it probably would have been better for her to not ask. It didn't show well in my opinion.
