Lovely place. Delicious food and wine. The service is wonderful. It's like a comfy cafe in a small town. 10/10

If you're looking for a slightly upscale drinks with friends and food for the table, Noeteca is the right spot! We had a group of five sharing, incredible, red wine and table charcuterie. The wine was fantastic. I highly recommend the Beaujolais! The charcuterie was fantastic and the bread was so soft and fresh. I liked how the charcuterie with salami came with these vinegary-onions and pepperoncinis. We had such a good time in the service was great! The space was very clean, the outdoor area is wonderful. It was just a little windy that day. The server was very kind and helpful, he had great recommendations! I really enjoyed my time there and I can't wait to go back with more friends! read more

Used to go here all the time over a decade ago and it was amazing. I am fairly sure it's under a new management probably for sometime, and while they were super nice and they clearly kept many of the same menu items, the quality has gone downhill a bit. The salmon on a thin flatbread was tasty, but again it didn't quite have that next level chef taste to it more standard corner Café than anything. We also got the beet salad, which honestly felt a bit like it came from a can and had bottled Italian dressing put on top of it. The people were super nice. The location is amazing and overall, I'll probably go back, but the quality is not the same as it used to be. I'd honestly rate it 3.5, but you can't do half star ratings. Always been a pet peeve of mine about yelp. Dogs ok outside. read more

Low key, yummy brunch spot by day and quirky wine bar by night! Noeteca serves up a delicious and savory bread pudding similar to a croque madame. Love this neighborhood spot and highly recommend it in the neighborhood. read more

Wonderful! Very small authentic Italian (and, according to other reviewers, Brazilian) food and wine bar. Don't listen to Marcos S.! I had the beet salad tonight and it was large, fresh, organic, wonderful housemade dressing, NOT FROM A CAN AT ALL. And inexpensive. (Everything is quite reasonably priced, especially for SF.) Really great vibes and food. Highly recommended. read more

Extremely recommended, the Italian atmosphere mixed with Brazilian roots make this place unique

Off top! The creamy coffee was amazing! And the food was delicious a perfect blend of Brazilian and Italian the service was bar none and like coming home to family and sitting down in the family dining room and moms is in the kitchen and dad is welcoming his loved ones and serving up hot plates. I felt like a VIP guest but everyone was receiving that personalized treatment. For the price I couldn't believe it, especially in the city but I will be coming back every opportunity I get! read more

Dropped in for lunch with a girlfriend and am so happy we did! We got the Classic Pizza Tarte Flambee & Caprese Salad. Both were delicious! I especially liked how simple yet elegant the dishes were - the natural ingredients shine without the filler/junk. We initially planned on ordering for takeout since we were on our lunch break, but were encouraged to dine in by the owner. Inside is clean and cozy. Service was great and food was ready in a timely manner. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Thank you so much Noeteca! read more

Friendly neighborhood eatery. Fresh orange and pineapple juice, made to order salad and dessert.

The best Brazilian food in San Francisco! The owner is so kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels warm and full of Brazilian hospitality. Every dish tastes authentic and made with love -- it's like a little piece of Brazil right here in SF! read more

Amazing food! I went there recently for lunch and ordered the lasagna. It was amazing!!! The service was so fast and so detailed. They are so kind and loving! Hands down my favorite neighborhood restaurant in San Francisco. Located in a quiet area of Noe Valley, it could serve as a fantastic casual date spot or family friendly night out. The hospitality made it feel we had come often . It became obvious they had a stream of repeat locals who knew each other by name. Cheese plate was fantastic. Bread was soft, warm, and tasty. And we didn't have to ask for more bread. Margarita pizza was also a winner. But the real surprise was their cheesecake with a blueberry topping. Perfection. read more

This is BY FAR my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. My husband and I have been going for years for the Fondue. It's a great price for two and it is my favorite meal of all time. I've had their other dishes as well and they are nothing short of incredible. Please please go try this place. Also, the owners are incredible. Their work ethic is admirable and their food is absolutely amazing. It's just the two of them and they create an environment that is so welcoming and personal. This restaurant is one in a million and I hope everyone gets the chance to experience how heart warming this place is! read more

Unbelievable lack of customer engagement. I called at 2 pm on a Monday to ask the red wine servings for tonight as I wanted to bring a client in and the person who answered the phone said "go online!" and I responded that it is not listed online and they said "I'm busy" and hung up. Nice. Umm, so, yeah no. read more

My brunch started with a smoke salmon plate $15. They were out of bagels so they gave me ciabatta bread instead. I liked how the plate came out and how I got to assemble my own smoked salmon sandwich with arugula lettuce, capers, cream cheese, glazed pearl onions, lemon juice, olives and pecans. This tasted great. I wasn't quite full yet, so I got the salumi plate $22. This was OK, not great. It had coppa, prosciutto and salami for the meats. The sour stuff like pepperoncinis, pickles and olives I didn't care for. I wish there were roasted nuts on this charcuterie plate. Regardless, good times. There's outdoor sitting. Perfect if it is a nice day. read more

Loved the neighborhood vibe. The owner is so friendly and has lots of stories plus excellent food and wine suggestions. I had the Raclette and it was fabulous. The melty flavorful cheese was so good with the salami and prosciutto. My husband had the ribs with black beans. He was quite happy too. And the dessert was so simple yet delicious! This is, without a doubt, the best comfort food from Brazil in the Bay Area. Warm atmosphere, service is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous (I got the Feijoada PF). The food is authentically Minas Gerais-style, prepared with local ingredients that truly capture the flavors of the region. Adriana (I believe that's her name!) is fantastic--she's incredibly friendly and brings a touch of Minas Gerais hospitality. In my opinion, Minas Gerais is one of the best Brazilian states when it comes to cuisine, and this place does it justice. I would definitely recommend it! read more

*** In Short *** Quaint little shop with a selection of delicious desserts. *** In Depth *** Never mind that we were both incredibly full from dinner: we wanted a place to sit and chat, and there's always room for dessert, right? Yeah, except when you order what you thought was a sundae, and instead are met with this monstrosity of a pastry, which was exactly what the rustico nutella on special dessert chalkboard menu was. But hey, this warm, flaky pastry filled with ice cream and strawberries was DELICIOUS. Shame the ice cream was all melted though: having solid ice cream to carve into would have made this even more amazing. ***Accessibility Info*** Venue - Small, cozy restaurant with a number of accessible seats, as well as less accessible booths and high tops. Bathroom - Didn't check them out. read more

Noeteca Wine Bar - Rustico nutella from their dessert specials: puff pastry filled with vanilla ice cream and strawberries - Wine Bars Near Me - San Francisco, California

Recently dined here for a quick dinner and had a pleasant experience. This seems like a chill, casual neighborhood cafe. There were a lot of wine and food options. I had the chicken walnut salad and a glass of cabernet sauvignon. Both were tasty, though not spectacular (again, it's a neighborhood cafe). I appreciated the balance of flavors, and the toasted, olived-oil-coated bread with my salad. The serving size was filling. My date got the lasagna. I forgot to ask her how she felt about it, but it looked hearty, cheesy, and decadent. I'm pretty sure I would've enjoyed this more, but I wanted a light dinner. The owner and the woman working were both friendly, smiling, and hard at work, as there were a good amount of diners. I had only pleasant interactions with them. They both wore masks. The vibe was casual, pleasant, and family-friendly. It's located in a quiet part of Noe Valley, and seems like a neighborhood favorite. It was a bit chilly inside because of the open door, but ventilation is important during these times, so I was fine with it. I would totally return to enjoy a casual wine and bite with a friend! read more

I haven't been back to Noeteca since the passing of my best friend. We were very close like brothers. He was like my "brothaa" from another "fathaaa." This was his favorite place. We celebrated his birthdays here. Now that I've returned back after several years later, to celebrate his birthday in spirit, Noeteca continues to wow me. The owner is always so welcoming. Today, he ordered for us and look what he brought..... a masterpiece. It was so good, I even picked up the crumbs from the dish. The cheese filling was just fantastic! I find the best time to come here is around 2ish PM. They get very busy for lunch/brunch and dinner so 2ish in the afternoon, you will enjoy this place. It is also tucked and hidden away in the corner between residential neighborhood. I've been here with my dogs and their outdoor seating is perfect for us pooch owners. Did I mention they have excellent cappuccino? For you wine lovers, their choices here are incredible, and their beers here are so smooth! I have to say.... of my top three favorite restaurants in San Francisco to dine in....Noeteca is my top second choice behind Foreign Cinema. Excellent food, excellent service, always welcoming. Lastly - please hold someone you care and love closer because life is way too short not to. If my best friend was alive today he'd say, "Bon Appétit!" Cheers! read more

I went for their quiche and it was ok. I like that they accompanied it with bread. I was somewhat let down but wasn't totally disappointed.

I absolutely loved this place. It was such a calm and pleasant late afternoon on a warm, sunny day. My boyfriend and I ordered glasses of red and white and a 2 cheese plate. We kindly requested no goat cheese and were so satisfied with the selection of cheeses the owner had brought out. With sides of fresh veggies, warm toasted bread, and a unique marmalade, the cheese paired perfectly with the wine. I'm already counting down the days we can come back and try out some of the other menu items! read more

It was devastating and discriminatory! Several years ago we visited quite often and were very welcomed by the owner. Six months ago we went to have lunch and knit. We were discouraged from sitting inside and asked to eat outside. We all complied and ordered lunch. We just went back last Thursday and were treated incredibly rudely by the owner. He discouraged us from sitting inside and said we could eat outside even though it was a very cold day. Then he suggested we go to an unnamed cafe about 4 blocks away. He was ageist and sexist. We are a group of 60 + years old women. The owner said he was too busy with the lunch crowd although there were only four patrons and many open seats. I have never been treated so poorly ever. I do not recommend this eatery and would highly discourage anyone from eating there. read more

A wine bar that serves Brazilian dishes. We were there at 3:30 pm and heart people eating their late lunch and conversing with the owner in Portuguese, so the dishes must be authentic. I had a Kir Royal and my friend had two Spritz. $12 each...a little pricy, but on the other had we shared a mini panettone for $3, so that was reasonable. read more

Great service and food! I ordered pickup on UberEats and the chef got the food out to us promptly. The caprese salad and the chicken cordon bleu was definitely the best I have tried. The chef also gave us a waffle on the house! When I went, I didn't know there was outdoor dining and there were plenty of people outside trying the wine and food. Would definitely come here again. :) read more

Noeteca is a neighborhood gem in Bernal Heights. Having walked by so many times on ice cream adventures to Mitchell's, it was about time to try. I would say the wine will do its job, but what really makes this place special is the fine food that is offered here, with a very unique menu that I perceive to have a blend of the owner's cultural background. It was a mix of Brazilian flavor with heavy Italian influence, essentially best of both worlds. The thin crust pizza was the best dish of them all and was super delicious. read more

Service (5/5) Welcoming ! Pet friendly indoors ! Margherita Tarte Flambée (4 /5 stars) - it's basically a pizza ! Not bad . Extra cheeeesy. sad there wasn't any marinara tho. Croque Napoleon (5/5 stars) - definitely on the heavy side but it's not SUPER heavy. The salad was good! The bread pudding with this sauce was bomb though. The bottom layer of the bread pudding was kind of hard but I liked it. I think it was like cheddar crusted ... yum ! read more

Exceptionally nice owners. Dined there on a Saturday night--had good food and good conversation. Noeteca is a delightful small space--perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is influenced by Brazil and Italy, hence the play on words of its name from the Italian enoteca. I had one of the nightly specials, ribs with yucca, rice, beans, and salad--a tremendous value for $16, and delicious. My dining partner had chicken cordon bleu with rice, and salad for $14. Lovely neighborhood spot with excellent wine and tasty pizza. Friendly atmosphere and service, we'll definitely be back!

I hate that I'm reviewing this place so low, but the guy and the wine were not awesome. I tried one of the Lachorette French Chards and could tell right away that it was bad / oxidized / open too long. I asked for a fresh glass and was refused. Not only that, the guy kept complaining (in Portuguese) to his coworker (*gasp, the audacity!) About how I asked for a fresh bottle. All of our requests were met with attitude and disdain, all while the DPH was on there writing them up. Will never go back and hope we don't get food poisoning from the pepperonccini I ate. read more
