What if I told you if there was a place which is a deli, grocery store ,bar, and cafe in the Mission. It seems some are sour when it comes to finding places to go in San Francisco and some don't know many places in the Mission.There are also many locations for the sour drinks to enjoy and something to sour to eat. This place sells and serves sour drinks and sour food. It also serves sweet and sour Lemon Blueberry Crumb Cheesecake desserts. It's on 24th street and it's called Limoncello. On a Summer stroll with the sun hiding I landed at a place which has both the sweet but more of the sour in SF. It's a sour world stepping inside as you see mostly lemon flavor items almost everywhere. You find lots of drinks with some lemon in it. They also serve Italian style sandwiches at their deli like at their other San Francisco locations. This location also sells pizza. This location has a cafe serving ice and hot espresso. This place also has a full bar with wines like Pinot Noir for Don Juan Pinot Noir and pilsner Rostam 36. This place also sells pasta and sauces . This is a good place to shop or grab a glass of beer or wine or just get a refreshing lemonade. I really liked my visit here! I had a wonderful little machiatto for here. The small outdoor patio looked inviting, but I still chose to sit indoors because of the interesting decorations and gorgeous lighting. The service was friendly, bilingual, and she offered suggestions for what to eat alongside my drink. Stopped by for dessert after grabbing lunch in the Mission, and was delighted by the cutesy sitting area in the back I ordered the limoncello cake and the ricotta pistachio cake Limoncello - very light in flavor, could definitely be more lemony Ricotta pistachio - I was so excited for this one, but I didn't even take a bite. My two friends tried it first and announced there was something "very off" about it and that it tasted "moldy". I smelled it and it was sour and unpleasant. I brought it up to the register and was quickly offered another cake slice option, so I chose the tiramisu Tiramisu - also very light in flavor. I appreciated that it wasn't too sweet, but there wasn't much of a coffee element at all I'm interested in their sandwiches, but definitely skip dessert here. read more

Lots of different seating locations and a nice comfortable vibe to the place. My coworker and I ordered a couple sandwiches. She got the Alpino sandwich (turkey) and I ordered the Goodfella sandwich (italian style roast beef). The sandwiches were huge, so I ate half then and took the rest to go. What I liked most is the flavors in the sandwich like basil that gave it a nice flavor. I noticed that they sold good beer on tap, like Russian River's Pliney de Elder and a Pilsner. They also had lots of wine, sparkling and other drinks available. They have grab and go salads, sandwiches and sides if you are in a hurry. I was really tempted to grab a container of olives, but already full. Service was great and the place just feels like a nice little spot to hang out for a happy hour or with friends. read more

After a short brisk walk, I stumbled into this deli-like atmosphere, which also kind of doubles as a lounge. I got the El Especiale, and the flavors definitely popped. Great little hidden gem filled with amazing Italian products, prepackaged salads, pre-made deli items, and freshly prepared sandwiches. The pistachio cake was incredible! They only serve beer and wine along with coffee and Italian sparkling sodas. There is bar seating and couches with coffee tables as well as a patio which I'm not sure is for customer use. Came by here today at lunch and met Chris who made an amazing sandwich! Ambiance is cute and cozy, it's clean and overall really welcoming of a place. After living down the street for so long, I'm glad I came by to visit before moving, but luckily -- they also have a location in Lower Pac Heights! The sandwich was really tasty and spicy. The bread had a nice texture to it and the ingredients were good. In the back, there's group and bar seating near the wine. I really loved the place overall and will definitely be back. Super excited to tell friends about, too. I always love places that sell an assortment of goodies (pasta, etc.) and the displays are really eye catching. Check the place out if you're nearby! I really wanted to support this establishment because they have a nice selection of products, but a bunch of them are already expired. And I recently came across some cheeses that had no expiration date, and it was clear that the sticker with the "best by" date had been removed. Terrific little hidden gem. In a super fun and colorful block of 24th street in the mission, surrounded by some amazing restaurants (got to do a review of La Vac Birria) and fun little dive bars to watch the 49ers play. Went in on a whim to check out the Italian products and the first thing that struck me was how meticulously cared for the place was. The food in the display case looked awesome, the sandwiches were made with care and the shelves had some of the best Italian imports I've seen in SF. The original location has been on my TODO list for a while but I didn't realize the owners had opened this shop a few months ago! I used to live a few blocks away so this was a pleasant surprise when I was in area. I got The Caprese spicy. Enter Limoncello! I passed by on their opening day and saw a crowd of people inside so I stopped by to take a look. One of the friendly guys waiting in line who is a regular at their other location told me they've actually been handing out free sandwiches for the day! I ended up getting the mafioso sandwich which had mortadella, turkey, prosciutto, and bacon. I wanted a sandwich with mortadella but I could mostly only taste the turkey and bacon. Came here with a pal to work remotely and the back lounge area is adorable, quaint, and so charming. There's an outlet and wifi and bathroom and bar all you could want. Ordered the limoncello marscapone cake and was happy with it, lemony and fluffy and not too sweet. The macaroni salad did not disappoint I loved how vinegary it was and it tasted very fresh. Sandwich had a lot of meat, each bite til the end of the sandwich had meat in it which I was extremely happy about. Most sandwiches have an unbalanced meat:bread ratio.
