    Sliced Steak Lunch Burrito
    Raymond C.

Their steak sandwich definitely one of my favorites as you can see from picture of the glistening and caramelized onions. Good mix of flavors sweet from the peppers, salty from the seasoned steak. The only thing I wish would be better is the bread. It seems very tough in the center of the bread. For reference, I got the sesame bread. They have great seating outside for smaller groups. I'd come here to try other sandwiches on the menu if they're this tasty.

Hazel's Kitchen is such a cute little spot! The location is honestly perfect--total dream neighborhood. I got the smoked salmon bagel ($13.95), and it was super tasty. The veggies were super duper fresh, the smoked salmon was just right, and the cream cheese was sooo good. Only thing is the bagel itself could've been a little fresher--it was leaning just a tad stale--but still yummy overall. Price was a little steep at $13.95, but that's pretty much city prices these days. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

The steak melt knocked it off the park. Crisp edges while still being tender. No gristle that often ends up in a wrestling match that tears apart a sandwich. The sesame roll has the perfect crispy, the vinaigrette bright the acidity, and the perfectly ripe tomatoes and peppers brought it home. I previously lived next to deli board and was looking for a Potrero hill replacement. I found it. Also very thankful that they served me 5 minutes before closing without skipping on the quality. I'd skip the cookie though. Was just ok.

Solid breakfast burrito. Lots of flavors. The outside seating area is nice but very limited. Workers here are also really nice and got my burrito to go relatively quickly

    Caesar Special Wrap

tldr; impressively quick service, and delicious sandwiches that are well worth the price! cute outdoor patio to romanticize your sandwich eating experience. price: ~13-$15 per sandwich recs: caesar special wrap - Caesar Special Wrap: Perfect and balanced in every way you can imagine a caesar salad wrap to be. The croutons were impressively savory, crunchy, and flavorful. The bouncy spinach wrap offered a really nice textural contrast with everything else that was going on inside. The ranch was a tad runny (but not a problem to clean up with all the napkins they provide). - Crispy Chicken Sandwich: The chicken wasn't as crispy as we had imagined it to be, but the sauces made up for it. This was both sweet and savory and came with many beautiful layers of veggies and aioli. The service was super fast and friendly. Definitely worth a visit -- I can imagine this being a nice treat after venturing up Potrero Hill.

Needed a quick lunch on a Saturday so decided to stop by this spot. There's decent parking in the area since it's in Potrero hill. We walked in ordered the grilled chicken melt and Caesar special wrap with croutons. There's no seating inside but there are two small tables outside to eat. I got the Caesar wrap and it was so good! Very light and refreshing if you aren't too hungry for lunch. My boyfriend got the sandwich and he really liked his too. Overall a good sandwich/wrap spot for a quick lunch

I finally came here after a long time hearing about it! Good: - I got the Jon sandwich and was really happy with my choice - it came with a choice of bread - I got the Dutch Crunch. Super good and huge portion sizes - definitely juicy, freshly made, and cheaply priced. - Fast and easy pick up - cute interior when you go to check in on your order. Bad: - No indoor seating, you have to sit on the road - No service, just a drop in and go place Overall this place was good - I liked the variety, and I'm going to try other sandwiches next time!

Best chicken caesar wrap I've tried in SF!! I've tried around 10 different caesar wraps now and nothing beats this one. It's toasted/grilled and the inside is generously coated in the vibrant and tart caesar dressing. Tossed perfectly with whole grilled chunks of chicken, shredded Parmesan, and crunchy well seasoned croutons. All the sauce seeps to the bottom too so the ending bites are heavenly with all the sauce. I will say I asked to add croutons so not sure if they're generally included but 10/10! Will def need to try their sandwiches next they look amazing

Roast Turkey & Smoked Provolone with Cranberries ($12.95)

I've never been a big sandwich person before, but Hazel's Kitchen might have converted me. All their sandwiches come with Hazel's dressing, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion, which means they are packed with veggies and toppings. I tried the roast turkey and smoked provolone with cranberries and it was amazing. It was the perfect combination of savory, sweet, and tart. My boyfriend tried the Ryan Special Sandwich on a Dutch crunch roll and it was also really good. We also liked our friend' Tuna Salad Melt and the Jordan Special Sandwich, which basically means you can't go wrong with anything you choose here! I recommend getting a whole sandwich because just a half will leave you wanting more. If you like sandwiches with a balanced amount of veggies and meat, this place is definitely for you! I've started craving sandwiches ever since eating here.

Re: NO. 19 (corned beef) & Potato Salad…read more Wow. Great sandwich!!! I've been looking for a place in town that delivers the same type of meals I'd find in Katz's (nyc), and Wise Sons is good!!! The bread was on point, not soggy at all even though this particular sandwich comes with coleslaw inside (I loved the sweetness of the slaw with the Russian dressing). The corned beef was spectacular. And I also liked their potato salad very much. You can bet I'll be ordering again from this place.

Weirdly, I often have egg-salad sandwiches on my mind, even though I know they can be gross. I've had plenty of egg-salad disasters, sandwich and otherwise, and I'm normally a very gun-shy person, but if a place has egg salad on its menu, I'll probably order it. Wise Sons always has egg salad on its menu. The problem is that it didn't have any egg salad on hand the first two times I came here.* Whatever I had instead, both times (and I had something different each time) was delicious. I don't know why I haven't tried the latkes yet. I guess I'm not a very wise son. The place is old school and feels perfect inside. It won't transport you magically to the past like many killer authentic interiors will, but it's very easy to imagine what the inside of this store looked like in 1941 or whenever. There was never more than one other person dining in each time I came. Maybe it's because I came so late in the day? More people would make it feel like a convivial breakfast destination. Empty, it feels like a good place with good food. Yes, it's overpriced, especially with all the delicious food you can get for cheaper within a few doors of this business on 24th Street in the Mission. But Wise Sons. It's a thing, a thing I'm glad I got wise to. *Did they sell out? Just didn't bother to make it? Who orders egg salad in the 2020s, anyway?

My wife and I were meeting someone in San Francisco in the afternoon and we wanted to eat lunch beforehand. We were interested in trying Wise Sons Deli since we have heard so many people praising it. Since we were coming into the city via BART, this location was great. The ambiance is pretty basic; ordinary tables and chairs and only some photos on one wall. You order and pay at the counter and then someone will deliver the food to the table. If you want coffee or water it is serve-yourself. However, the food is fantastic! My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben sandwich ($18.50). It was thick and very tasty. I ordered a House Special Pastrami Reuben that had a smaller Reuben sandwich, french fries, a side of cole slaw, and a drink ($19.50). While it had half as much meat as the regular Reuben, it was still a good size. They make their own Pastrami and Corned Beef and it tastes great. I had really high expectations for the bagels here given all the hype on social media, especially being a New Yorker looking for something just as good as home. Boichik doesn't skimp on the cream cheese - it was a very generous amount! However, I agree with some of the other reviews, the bagel itself was hard. The bagel was a bit flat and the texture wasn't as fluffy as I was expecting. Overall, I think I'd stop in again if I were in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back again.

I guess I should elaborate a little more for all y'all faithful Yelp readers. I tried a couple of different bagels at Noe Bagel. The sesame and everything bagels are both generously coated, with a beautiful outer crust that has just the right texture. The inside is soft and chewy. It's a classic New York-style bagel that will satisfy even your strongest bagel cravings. The mini bagels maintain that same excellence, just in a smaller form. Because of their size, the crust-to-center ratio gives you more of the micro-blistered snap that I love about bagels. Personally, I'd choose two or three minis over one regular bagel. The cream cheese is also excellent--well-balanced and smooth. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese. It has just a hint of sweetness that brings out the richness and creaminess of the cheese. And, like many spots in San Francisco, they offer a sourdough bagel. It's quite different from their sourdough bread, but I enjoyed it. If you're visiting, I'd recommend giving it a try. For my everyday go-to, I'd stick with a classic sesame or plain bagel, but Noe Bagel has enough variety to keep things interesting if you want to switch it up regularly. As a bonus, they sell day-old bagels by the bag for $4. You can freeze them, eat them as-is, or repurpose them into bread pudding. You'll end up with an interesting dish thanks to all the different bagel varieties mixed together--but that's part of the fun!
