I got breakfast from this restaurant via Uber eats while staying at the Soma Hotel . I was very detailed with my notes which I was happy that I was able to leave in the Uber app not everybody allows notes. I let them know if my gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. I also asked for extra sauce, again very accommodating my food was absolutely delicious. I would absolutely get this meal again. The potatoes were divine and the benny was everything I could've asked for. I will definitely order from here again if I find myself in town.

My first time here, this place wasn't crowded when I went here, but they were getting a ton of door dash orders. The reviews kept talking about the French toast, which was odd to me, but I had to see what the hype was all about. The place was clean and nicely decorated with pictures and paintings. Everything is made fresh to order, so be prepared to wait. We ordered: 1. French Toast: This definitely was true to the hype. It was so fluffy and sweet. It didn't need syrup. 2. Chilaquiles - The chips were crunchy and had a light kick. Like once you start eating, you can't stop. This definitely hit the spot. 3. Chorizo breakfast burrito - So flavorful and meaty. Perfect ratio of chorizo, egg, and beans. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

So me and my boyfriend have been craving and wanting a chorizo breakfast burrito for the longest time. Although there are many Mexican restaurants around the city, we just could never come across good reviews on breakfast burritos. I seen this place had a Chorizo breakfast burrito to offer yet only had one review. So we decided to take a chance on it. & Boy am I happy we took that chance. If you are looking for a big, hearty chorizo burrito, you definitely need to try this place out. Pretty pricey for a burrito but definitely worth it. It normally has eggs, chorizo, beans, cheese and sour cream, but we decided to not add sour cream. Haven't gotten the chance to try anything else from this place, but if we decide to order something else from here, i'll be sure to update this review! Take the chance and try this out!

I ordered the Chorizo Breakfast burrito. The place that I usually get my breakfast burritos are closed on Sundays. So today I gave Ariels Breakfast a chance. Honestly, I am disappointed. I was really hungry and was looking forward to my meal. I ordered for take out, I'm not sure if they make their burritos much nicer for people that eat in the restaurant but it looked like a burrito you would get from the frozen section at Safeway. The burrito itself felt so watery when I was unwrapping it. Luckily, I didn't make a mess but I did eat it with caution. I ordered it with avocado specifically and had none of it inside my food. That is the reason why I'm writing this review because they did not add avocado, the main thing that I wanted on it. Too much meat, not enough vegetables like the ones that are mentioned when you order. It was just the chorizo and watery beans. I did not even eat the whole burrito, it was not satisfying at all.

This place is a joke and is probably pretty good with marketing but shouldn't be allowed to cook. I'm adding a few pictures showing the menu vs reality for both their banana bread and croissant French toast.

I'm always hunting for spots like this because I have a weakness for those over-the-top, Instagram-worthy desserts that look like diabetes in a dish. Like most places in this genre, A Buttercup is small, modern, and minimalist with limited seating. If you plan to go, aim for off-hours unless you enjoy waiting in line for sugar. The decor is cute and trendy, perfect for photos if that's part of your dessert ritual. As they say, "you eat with your eyes first," and when it comes to presentation, this place definitely gets an A+. The desserts look stunning and set high expectations. Unfortunately, that's where things started to crumble. It's like going to see your favorite artist live. You've watched the videos, memorized the songs, and paid for the experience. But instead of the electric performance you imagined, you get someone lip-syncing and barely connecting with the crowd. That was this place in dessert form. We ordered the Mango Bingsoo on our first visit, and when it arrived, we were surprised by how small the portion was. The guy next to us even looked over and said, "Whatever that is, I'm getting that next time." He shouldn't have. The Bingsoo looked great but was bland, and the "snow" was more chunky ice than soft shave. The Thai Tea Roti was also not what I expected. It came with Thai tea ice cream and sauce alongside a roti that was fried to a crunch. Interesting idea, just not the best execution. The sauce and ice cream needed a stronger Thai tea flavor to balance the crispy roti, and the flavors never quite came together. Overall, A Buttercup nails the aesthetics but misses the flavor. If you're here for the photos, you'll be happy. If you're here for the taste, you'll leave with a full camera roll and an unsatisfied sweet tooth.

I had no idea what to order because the menu wasn't conspicuous to virginal visitors. Only later did I notice the drink menu on the left wall. The openly exposed desserts are what really caught my eye first. I decided to order the $6.75 Frozen Hot Chocolate because it frankly reminded me of the decadent monstrosities at the legendary Serendipity 3 in Manhattan's Midtown East (Photo 8). I have heard about Garden Creamery prior through word of mouth and when trying it out myself, I could really understand why. I have had many places that served similar flavors like Garden, however what makes them stand out so much is their lilikoi vanilla. To be quite frank, I actually do not like lilikoi but after trying how subtly sweet it is balanced with the neutrality of the vanilla, it was amazing! When I asked the workers at the shop, they mentioned the salty pandan was the perfect pairing and it did not disappoint. This might have been one of the best pandan ice cream I have ever had. The salt and pandan made a very complex flavor combination that I never had before. Overall, the ice cream here is smooth, creamy, and tastes like my childhood.
