Way over priced, charged $15 to come out and wouldn't honor the $50 for $100 deal. When I called the guy he said it only applies to car keys even though it doesn't say that anywhere on Yelp. Im not a big Yelper as this is my first review. But I feel it's super important to recognize kindness most especially in a service industry so here goes. Locked myself out of my apartment around 11pm last night. Spent hours trying to break in but to no avail. Requested 2 quotes from locksmiths on yelp at 2am. By 3am with no replies I went to the internet. I found 24/7 online and called to get a quote to see how much more it would cost me to have someone unlock my door then @ 3am versus waiting until regular business hours. With the price difference I decided to wait until morning. 30 minutes later 24/7 called me to advise they just got another call near my location and were willing to give me the 8am price. I was floored. I mean who is so kind to not only call me back at 330am but to offer me a lower rate? These guys do! They did not have to do that as I was going to give them the job anyways. Fast forward to 830am this morning. I contacted 24/7 and asked if they could please come by to do the job. In under an hour I'm back in my apartment. Kindness and thoughtfulness seem to be rare commodities these days. I would honestly tell anyone to avoid this place since their communication and responsiveness is absolutely abysmal. I called 4 hours ago to get someone sent to me. I received a text immediately telling me that they would call me back as soon as someone was dispatched. After an hour and a half, I called back asking if they would dispatch anyone, and they said they were running behind, and would still send someone. I decided to hop the buss to work and skipped breakfast. After my lunch break came around and I still had no reply, I called back for the final time (a total of 4 hours later) only to discover that my request had been canceled without them ever having told me. If you're ever in a pinch for getting your car unlocked, call someone else, because it took until half-way through my shift for them to simply tell me they couldn't help me, time I could have used getting the job done myself or simply by someone else. read more
