At first I was a little worried. The locksmith technician that was sent to me was probably 24 or under. He seemed so young! But I was completely wrong about him. Of course, David is the owner/operator of everything so I called to make sure everything was okay. It was. A funny side note to all of this is that I sent a picture of the doorknob/lock mechanism which was a push button code lock, mechanical as well as battery and I sent this pic along with my locksmith request to 12 different locksmiths in the coachella valley area, (through Yelp). Interestingly enough, most of them told me that they "don't service those type of locks". I was baffled. Huh?!? Aren't you all advertising yourselves as professional locksmiths?? ? Was very very surprised with the answers I received. Some, of course, were not available when I needed them, but most simply wouldn't "service that type of lock". Turns out, these other so-called locksmiths thought I was sharing a picture of my Safe Lock. LOL!! I don't own a safe. So it's "safe" to say, that my lock was a regular code lock. Hahahaaa! People are truly funny these days. It took a little bit to untangle my mangled wires of this code lock as I tried to fix it myself, but after a while, the technician was able to do everything to my complete and total satisfaction. I don't usually do reviews but David the locksmith killed it in servicing my vehicle key. When I called him to replace my key and reprogram a new one he was travelling to Palm Springs to my location within a couple of hours. Right there in the front of my house in his mobile locksmith unit, he did the job and impressively quickly, at that. And for a reasonable price. Bout a month later I had an issue with turning on my van and I was convinced it was due to my new key. So David drives out again, yet this time I'm stuck in Palm Desert. Several extra days of David trying everything key related until even a few more days went buy and out of no expectation David calls me knowing what the issue was to my vehicle. So he was more confident than less of his prediction being that the steering wheel computer module needed replacing. I trusted him to repair that, and I'm glad I did....Working w David has always saved me hundreds of dollars and lots of time. David does go above and beyond to keep you comfortable when the going gets rough. It became late one evening that we we're figuring out the issue and without expectation he provides me a massive chinese dinner. It was cold and miserable to have waited and wondered so long about my vehicle so dinner was nice..... But the issue was never in the key and David wasn't obligated to help me yet even though he was sure this was a mechanical issue and not a key issue, he still got my vehicle back up and driving by going out of his way himself and collecting the pieces required for repair. I casually blamed him for my crappy car troubles and he stayed in contact with me all week to provide me quick and highly professional service, an Uber ride home, extra keys, even just the fact that he remained calm, cool, and collected literally the entire time. That's my favorite part. I never felt like I needed to worry anymore. In fact, I believe in David, he has been consistent and professional that's huge.
