The car was delivered without a drop of wiper fluid in it, which proves to me it was never truly inspected. They just claim it was inspected, and collect the money. They don't care about safety. Additionally, the loaner vehicle I was given contains documents from the last two customers who have used their loaner car. I have their signatures, birthdates, dl numbers, social security numbers, phone numbers, and much more. Toyota is so lazy and unprofessional. They don't care about your safety or private information. They won't even offer as much as an apology for all my wasted time n money.

My dad has been going to Tom's alignment for over 30 yrs, when TJ's dad ran the business and we have received the same quality and customer service from day one. I strive to find experts when I don't have the expertise to do it myself. I had several people I trust lead me to an alignment expert in Bend, OR where I was told that my alignment was good, but my lower control arms needed replacement. A $1200 job. I left that shop with data sheets, a screwed up alignment job, a bill and a quote for more work. I immediately called TJ. I was expecting TJ to have to replace the lower control arms. His crew got into the job while replacing my suspension and found nothing wrong with the lower control arms. WORKING WITH TOMS ALIGNMENT SAVED ME $1200! These guys are honest and will not do work that is not needed. TJ and his crew are the best in the business.

We left messages at several places and then left our truck at Tom's waiting for the shop to open. By the way, we never received a return phone call from any of the other shops in Bozeman! Coming off the holiday weekend Tom's was pretty booked with usual customer repairs. TJ said he would do his best to look at it by the end of the day. Sure enough we got a call saying that we needed new calipers, rotors and brake pads at the end of the day. He said it would be ready by the end of day the next day. Fortunately, it was finished by noon the next day and we were on our way to continue our trip. This is a quality business that we would highly recommend. My experience started when my vehicle began overheating. After an initial inspection at O'Reilly Auto Parts, I attempted to drive it to Mobile Mechanic MT as they were the only shop that was open. I ultimately had to pull over when the check engine light came on, and AAA towed the vehicle to their shop. The original repair was a radiator replacement, spark plugs, and thermostat. Unfortunately, I picked up the vehicle on April 8th and immediately discovered several problems that were not present when I brought it in. Immediately after pickup: -The AC was no longer blowing cold air, and during my second visit I observed the mechanic watching a tutorial video on how to recharge the AC. -The driver side hood latch was malfunctioning and eventually would not latch. -The vehicle developed electrical issues affecting the blower motor and ambient lighting. -My tire was also damaged and subsequently went flat. -The air intake cover had been improperly handled, with retaining clips apparently lost and the cover needing to be repositioned. After the second visit to address these issues, I observed paint damage and gouging around the front bumper, hood, and front left fender. The most concerning issue was the hood latch. While driving the vehicle back to the shop, the hood actually began lifting upward because it would not properly latch. I have video documenting the vehicle while it was still at the shop, including footage showing the hood intact and footage of the lead technician working around the driver side hood latch area. There is also footage showing a flathead screwdriver being used on the bumper, latch, and hood. When I brought the vehicle back and discussed the new problems, the owner immediately dismissed my concerns, stating that all of the issues were pre existing. The situation got worse. When the vehicle was subsequently left at the shop, the hood was eventually cracked. I also documented additional damage to the bumper that occurred while the hood was being pried open. The vehicle then sat on their lot for approximately five days neglected before I returned on April 18th to retrieve it. Throughout this process, I experienced what other reviewers have apparently experienced as well; lack of communication, no invoice, failure to return calls, and difficulty getting anyone to take responsibility for problems that appeared after their work. At several points, I had to call from another phone number just to get an answer. I also found my interaction with the owner particularly concerning. When I called, the owner identified himself as "Sky," which shows he wasn't forthcoming with his real name Andrew Santiago. He subsequently would not shake my hand, even after insisting upon it twice. Don't take my word for it. I have video documentation of the vehicle before and after the work, the condition of the vehicle while it was at the shop, the work being performed around the affected areas, and conversations regarding the resulting damage. Truly, I think it's because the job done was sub-par and on purpose to get my vulnerable and naive self back into their shop. I have spent $3000+ here and will never get it back unless I get a lawyer which I'm highly considering. When I got my fuel injectors done, I immediately had a problem with the engine starting. I took it in for diagnostics and they charged me 160 dollars for them to just look at it. Nothing seemed wrong to their technicians and I was told that it was fine and would level itself out. It did not. I went back again and they said that I needed a small part that I could replace myself easily. I did and still the problem didn't go away. Dave asked me why I hadn't come back and the reason is because he has led me on and bled me dry every time I just had someone look at it. I really thought that Dave was a nice guy and I trusted him but once I had spent $300+ on diagnostics alone, my faith was shaken. Today, my engine didn't start. I called Dave and he basically said that he didn't want to work with me anymore and GOOD LUCK. I was angry on the phone and I guess they say being nice goes a long way, so this was definitely my bad. I am very disappointed in Dave and the scam he runs as a business and I hope he doesn't do this to his daughter. The calls are recorded and I am talking to a lawyer because the other shop I went to charged me nothing. For such a "good" reputation, B+L auto seems to be a sham and I do not suggest you going in to this shop ever unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket and you want to feed the dollar signs in Dave's eyes.
