Came in to get an appraisal on my car. Was not greeted by the only person inside the dealership until I said "excuse me" multiple times. Told the person that I was getting prices to sell my paid off vehicle. His first question was, "how much do you want for it?" in a rude tone. I knew this wasn't the place to do business with from the awful first impression so I simply said, "never mind, thank you!". To the owner(s), you might want to try and staff your dealership with more employees and with people that at least know how to have basic conversation. That's just my 2 cents. read more

TERRIBLE! At first I was really happy with how responsive Snyder Motors was before the process of selling me the car. After the first few days (Less than 50 miles of driving) engine started rattling really bad and also gave the awd, transmission, and Porsche stability management (psm) fault. Luckily, my friend had a professional Porsche OBD reader and learn that the ignition coils were bad when I bought the car. I took it to Snyder and their service said "they only needed to secure the connections of ignition coils" as soon as I started the car there on Snyder parking lot it gave all of those same problems. I called the management and explained them the situation and told them that they sold me a faulty car and I requested them to take it back since I didn't even drive 50 miles. The general manager that I can't remember his name said please give us a chance and we will make it right for you, we will change the ignition coils and fix it. They changed 2 of 8 ignition coils which I disagree at that time too because Porsches are really sensitive cars and all of them has to be changed even though only 2 of them are faulty. 4 months and 2000 miles later I bought the vehicle here I am, the car gave the same error this time while going on highway on icy roads, since it cancelled awd and psm the car started sliding which was really scary going 75mph. I bought new ignition coil packs and while replacing I realized those special aluminum screws were torqued wrong by Snyder technician, they broke the screws that hold the ignition coils and make them one piece with the engine cover screws. Then I started taking out the coils the 6 of them that Snyder didn't change came out perfectly and the 2 that Snyder put came out weird. I didn't understand at first but then when I looked carefully I saw that the bottom piece of those 2 ignition coils stuck in the hole as you can see on the pictures. Not only those 2 ignition coils were different brand than other two (when I specifically told them they have to be the same and new), it was an unbranded ignition coil and they were not fit to my car. They were made for another car and type not for mine. These ignition coils they put are literally $10-$20 ones that you can buy from Amazon while Porsches specifically only use BERU. This mistake damaged the car so bad that it might even need a new engine. It literality put mine and my passengers' life in danger, I don't know how but I want Snyder to make it right or find a solution for me. read more

Thought I was buying a good used car and obviously as the receptionist pointed out "when buying a used car its gonna have problems" but IT SHOULDN'T have such a corroded battery compartment that it looks like it snowed all over my trunk (bmw have them In back) also when I went back to get all the broken things fixed they were only temporary and broke like 3 months later. So I just pay the extra money to go to bmw now. They also somehow had a new person do the oil change and they messed that up....how do you mess up an oil change. Oh well the service tech manager is amazing and fixed the parts temporarily but was actually the only person that spoke to me nicely when I was frustrated at spending 20k on a car that died as I drove it off the lot... read more

The worst car buying experience ever. My fiance and i bought a truck here. Over priced but well sold(we totally bought into the well covered warranty too). From the time we drove the truck home there were issues. We called and immediately to try and get things covered as the trucks check engine light went on our way home. Owner claimed none of our issues were under warranty. Thank god we got in contact with the warranty owner, which helped us with most of the issues and different mechanics who could work on the truck to fix the issues, the complete opposite of what snyder told us(they said none of the problems were covered). They deserve to loose their dealer license. We are now over $3000 into fixing the problems with this truck and we bought it 2 months ago, driven less then 3000 miles. DO NOT TRUST THIS LOT. THEY BUY CHEAP VEHICLES AND TURN OFF ANY MECHANICAL LIGHTS AND SIGNALS AND WILL NOT COVER ISSUES TO FOLLOW. They do not even change oil on the vehicles that come in, i can tell you that for a fact because my change oil light came on after driving the vehicle 1000 miles fyi, its a diesel 2012. read more

Purchased a vehicle from them in September. Not even three months later a crack had started to form along the exterior of the passenger door due to a faulty repair from a previous accident. Brought it back to the dealership and they refuse to help compensate for the repair. Insurance will not cover damages. I am now stuck with thousands of dollars for repairs. I had a great experience with Snyder Auto, quite contrary to the previous review. I ended up working with Zach directly, who is very nice and knowledgable, but the whole staff was accommodating. This is the first dealership where I felt welcome to explore and even drive cars at my own pace. They will certainly hold your hand and sell you something, but I enjoyed how they would simply hand me keys and let me drive off on my own. If you buy a car, do your homework and know what you're getting in to. Learn about common failures and compare to the Carfax and the findings of Snyder's mechanic team. If you are really serious about a car then get a Pre-Purchase Inspection from your local mechanic. I did this and it was a great investment that helped with my decision and the pricing - Zach even let me take the car for a whole day to do this. I will be a return customer because they can help you search for vehicles nationwide. PS - If you want an easy and cheap transaction them save up and bring cash. Financing is always an expensive pain for the consumer, even if you do it with your local bank. read more

Horrible they sell trucks/cars with known problems and after about a month of driving off the lot I have 2200$ inn fixes that need to be done and sell it to me with a straight face knowing that there were problems. Also paid 3900$ for a warranty and now there are saying I would still have to pay 1,000 out of pocket to have everything fixed. Has a really bad experience here. Test drive a car that didn't accelerate and overall felt unsafe when i told the car salesmen it was clear he already knew that. As the process of finding a car continued i received little help, and eventually just decided to go somewhere else. Had some issues with my purchase but Zack Snyder got wind of it and made things right.

I have issues with there service department and office. Bought a vehicle from them and had issues with it within a month to 2 months, tried getting it fixed, found out it had more issues then I thought. I called them told me to bring it down to the service department so I towed, and left it there for them to look at I gave them time never heard from them. I called 3 weeks later they never looked at it, then they said they would look at it and have not heard back from them and been a few days. They seem to not want to deal with the issue, I am willing to take to trade for another a take a small loss but they avoid me and I have been pretty nice and tolerant about it. Right now I would not recommend them. read more

Run as fast as you can from this dealership. Cover up issues, very dishonest. If you have a vehicle your interested in take it to your personal mechanic, chances are they are covering up a bad transmission, head gasket etc. I suggest going else where all together. Crooks! read more

trice was hard to deal with. I signed the paperwork and they said they checked everything out to be in good working order.i get down the road to find out the truck was in poor condition. The dvd player didn't work, it had a leaking transmission line, and the transfercase was bad. I drove over 400 miles to get truck. I would never recommend Snyder auto. read more

I'm really proud of our community, and the people in this valley, and I'm very supportive of "buying local" and keeping my business to the Gallatin valley.....BUT I RECENTLY bought a pickup from Snyder motors, and yes should have known better, but I wanted to give the benefit of doubt and give them a shot. I know vehicles very well and know when there are issues with things. Not only did I have to spend 600 dollars on tires, since the ones they had put one where garbage and the cheapest ones that could be bought. I told them about the metal n metal noise I had continued to hear from under the truck. And took it in not once but 3 times to have them listen to it. Now this is only owning the truck for a week. And not a single mechanic or management claimed to hear or pin point and noise or issue that I could defiantly hear as soon and my truck was in drive. I finally got an appointment with Brand named dealership , and went for a drive in this same truck , after 2mins of being in my truck the tech told me that it was most likely a wheel bearing. Well with further inspection turns out the truck had a rear differential metal on metal, with no diff. fluid. WTF. I called Snyder motors and told them what had happened and they basicly told me that it wasn't their issue...... how in the holy $#&@ this not something you check in an inspection when a vehicle comes into the shop. $1800 $@#%&# dollars later not to mention $600 in tires WTF !!! So in conclusion DO NOT buy any vehicle from Snyder Motors , don't even drive on the lot. They won't take care of you LIKE THEY CLAIM TO !!! Worst car buying expierence of my life. Trace does all of the car sales stuff and he is extremely difficult to work with. He was less than honest in my dealings with him. When I spoke with Zack everything would get straightened out, but Trace handles the sales and so he's who you normally have to talk to. Oh and watch your language. They might have nice cars and in house financing but be sure to read the fine print. The overall cost ends up being ridiculous. Double check the carfax report including the date on it. If its not the date you are there ask for another one. Also make sure the VINs actually match. Keep ALL your paperwork and if you do in house financing make sure you keep proof of all payments. Make them fix EVERYTHING that might be a concern BEFORE signing the paperwork. DO NOT take Trace's word that he'll have something fixed. The minute you sign your paperwork he will develop amnesia and say he never said he'd get something fixed. read more

I had a very great experience with Snyder Motors and all the crew, and it was a very easy decision made on my purchase. And by far the BEST truck Ive ever bought. I initially started working with Jeff on a Saturday. I was very interested in a truck but due to banks and the hrs. all banks are open (9-4 m-f if your lucky) Jeff had explained to me that we would finish the process on Monday and that he would not personally be available, but he would complete his end of the paper work and see to it that Trice would complete the sale. And a great job Trice did as well. My wife was very pleased. I'd have to say that they ALL did a great job of holding their word very true and in an incredible time frame. I had noticed that the CV joint was in need of attention and Zach had replaced it at no cost, INCLUDING going the extra mile and doing the front wheel hub assembly (bearing) and getting my tires rebalanced as to make sure I had no shake from the over sized tires. And the incredible service doesn't stop their. They had noticed a small crack in my aftermarket rim on my new (to me) 09' lifted Z71 truck and Zach had also ordered a brand new rim free of charge. I will definitely be buying more great reliable vehicles from Snyders again. I think this world of negative people need to understand that kindness and respect need to be given in order to receive it. I can't imagine the rude people that car salesman have to deal with daily, and every one seems to want something for nothing. So give the sales guys respect and I bet you get the same in return. It doesn't hurt to ask real questions like an adult. Remember your trade in is not priceless and top dollar and your car your trying to buy is not FREE. Some people need to understand that. All in All, the best place Ive ever been and I will recommend to every person that inquires about my sweet truck, to go to Snyder Motors. They made me feel at home.
