Okay so this is one company I had hoped that I would never have to call, especially since there was a roach problem on the top 4th floor in my building. I had called Tim and he was super professional, he was able to come out in just 2 days after my call and he was awesome. He explained all of his services on the phone PRIOR to coming, so I knew just what to expect and he was very thorough in his explanation and was able to answer all of my questions because we weren't sure which company we would use to service the building. He came on time, and was super enthusiastic about his job which shows just how passionate these guys are, and that's good, because I am surely not passionate about killing roaches or any bugs for that matter. He sprayed a few units as well as the hallways and we really haven't had a problem since. Why we chose this company over others is that not only do they use bait to fix the problem, but they two other ways of killing roaches which makes them very professional and knowledgable about ALL the different ways to kill these disgusting bugs. We hope that we do not have any problems in the future but if we do, this is the company we will surely call and we are looking to have them service our building in the future. We recently moved to the suburbs so our dealings with insect invaders is in its infancy. Try as I might to rectify the incursions on my own, I finally broke down and looked for an exterminator after one too many carpenter ants made their way into my kitchen. Not to mention their smaller brethren taking up residence all over our countertops. My search, of course, started with Yelp and ended very quickly once I saw the ratings for Quick Kill. I called and spoked to someone about what needed to be done, she talked me through the process and gave me a quote. I thought about it for several minutes, then called back to set an appointment. I'd been working from home that day, with my family out of town, so it was a great day to have an exterminator come by. It was short notice, but I took a shot - and they absolutely could squeeze me in! Same day - really, who does that?! The exterminator stopped out on time and chatted me up the entire time he was in my home. Very friendly and knew what he was doing. He treated for carpenter ants and the smaller ones inside; then took to the outdoors to surround my house with a barrier. Everything took a couple of hours, but that's just how thorough the treatment was. Two weeks after treatment, the smaller ants reappeared. I reached out to the exterminator who had come to my home and he stopped out within a day to re-treat, and since there has not been a problem. I've even noticed other dead insects around the outside of my home, and in my basement, so I know the barrier is still working. As much as you might hate to call an exterminator, you could do far worse than Quick Kill. The process was as painless as possible, and the friendly staff made it even better. I saw a mouse in our kitchen and called Quick Kill the next day. They were able to squeeze me in for an appointment that afternoon, which was not easy to schedule. I appreciated how understanding and accommodating they were to my desire for them to come out as soon as possible. Mike met my husband and walked the exterior of our home to identify any entry points and laid bait and traps inside the home where he saw droppings. One week later Mike returned to check the bait and traps. He walked me through the areas of the home where the mice were eating the bait, as well as the areas where bait was not touched. He reassured me that we did not have a significant issue and that any mice that ate the bait were no longer an issue. He was patient, understanding and compassionate. A few weeks before we moved into our house in Deerfield, I noticed a lot of big ants roaming around, along with spiders and other creepy crawlers. I called Quick Kill and asked if they could come out at a very specific time, because we hadn't moved in yet.. Mike was right on time, even few minutes before I got there! He figured out that those were carpenter ants, which required special treatment. He drilled holes in the baseboard, injected it with powder, then sprayed inside and out for other bugs. Mark at Quick Kill is FANTASTIC. Thanks to him, our 5 and 3 yr old can now play in the the backyard after he powder-dusted the yellow jacket nest that had about 200 angry, stinging insects in it that was nestled above our backyard deck. He bravely climbed to the 2nd story and eradicated the entire nest----at first, it looked like a yellow jacket mosh pit and then a couple of hours later, they have all met their fatal end. Additionally, I purchased the $150 yelp certificate giving me the full $195 service call fee (significantly less expensive than the competitors BTW---they were all around $225-$300 for the same job) and did not charge any extra to give the entire house a spray for carpenter ants, etc... AND checked for mice and sealed up small holes with steel wool to prevent any fall/winter unwanted new pets. We can now all breathe a big sigh of relief. Top notch service at a fair price, with none of the "high pressure sales" of some companies. I'm a total bug-o-phobe (likely not the scientific name), and new to the area. After my quarterly treatment, had a problem when the weather changed with some spiders in the front of the house. I couldn't be home for their next day time slot - receptionist put me on hold and told me the tech would be out WITHIN THREE HOURS! I'm pretty sure I couldn't even get 911 to respond that fast.
