I came in at opening on Wednesday because my MacBook hasn't been working right for weeks and it would work for two minutes after I restart it and just freeze and I would just stare at the colorful spinning wheel of misery for hours. I brought in a W10 laptop that I forgot the password to. I had taken it to another repair place and they said it was not possible to circumvent the passwor. I guess Chris didn't know that because he was able to circumvent the password and make the computer usable again. When I brought it in late Thursday afternoon and was told it would be ready late Monday. They missed this feadline. It was ready Saturday two days early. I live in the North Seal Beach/Rossmoor area and I drive out of my way to take my computer here. Very reasonable. The guy charged me $125 to get rid of the viruses that were on my computer, compared to $180 to another computer repair store I live closer to in Los Alamitos. I took my computer to the other place first before I found out about Quick Fix and my computer was still running extremely slow, like they didn't even do anything to it. Not only were they able to clone my failing drive, they replaced it with a better one. The price was reasonable and my computer was ready when I needed it -- on Saturday, the next day! I'm in the exact same boat as Peter G. Took my computer to OC computer repair in Los Alamitos (closest "repair" shop to me ) and you can read my review for them. If you want your iPhone fixed, sure give them a shot, anything else, run away! Quick Fix was a pleasure to do business with and are now my go-to-guys when it comes to computer repair. Yes, it's a couple miles out of the way but it's worth it. Ash is way cool, so is Alan, they're all way cool. They aren't rude like my experience with OC Repair. They have great communication as they called me Saturday (I missed the call, my fault) and told me my computer was ready (took it in Wednesday I think) when they said to call back Monday. They'll even sit with you and see that you understand everything they did (as they did with another customer while I was there trouble shooting my GFX with ash). She was there just as long as I was. they'll do everything possible to see that your rig/machine ( my was custom) is back in working order again. Long story short: my computer was first not booting after I cleaned out the dust, they fixed that, then my second big problem is that my PC would completely power off during graphic intense gameplay. I tried to narrow it down using software and trial and error, but ash suggested we just try another video card. Problem solved. no more powering off. they couldn't sell me that card (as it was for another build) but offered to order it if I requested. these guys are great. read more

Quick Fix Computer Repair. Our eight year old Computer wouldn't display on our monitor after Microsoft without our permission installed windows 10. After talking to Alan the owner over the phone we brought our computer in for repairs. He said it would be ready Friday and sure enough Friday he called to say he replaced the graphics card. When we went to pick it up we talk to Allen, he hooked it up in his shop and showed Us it was working and with our permission he removed some of the unused programs that we never used but was slowing down our computer. He only charged us $101 for his labor and the new graphics card. This is an outstanding computer repair business that doesn't try to give you a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. They just quote you a price of the different scenarios and that's all they charge. Quick fix computer repair and the owner Alan are a breath of fresh air in the industry that is loaded with shabby operators. My saviors! I am so very happy with their service. Have been using them for a few years for our business. Had a guy in La Habra we used and were unhappy with. Tried these guys and switched over all of our business. I just was in a situation where my main computer was down and I needed it for this July 4 weekend to complete a 3d job. Terrific service. I have asked them to come over to solve multiple issues twice when things went south while replacing a router. Ash was able both times to solve all my connectivity issues quickly and efficiently often multitasking which really kept the cost reasonable. Today was no exception. While things started off poorly when I called Netgear " complementary 90 day tech support" only to be told that my problem was "very complicated" and would require "erasing a bunch of viruses off your computer first" which wasn't covered and therefore would cost $190 just to start. Long story short, sounded like a shakedown so I called QuickFix, Ash came over, scanned the computer - found some adware only which he deleted, got my router hooked up then hooked up my amped wireless relay, security system, Sonos/Roku etc, all in one hour for half the Netgear quoted to "erase those viruses" (the ones that didn't exist) so I am very happy - again! I came in here quite intimidated due to having no background knowledge behind computers and whatnot. However, when I walked in I was greeted and welcomed greatly thus making me comfortable! Reason behind me rating 4 out of 5 is because I came to the shop multiple times, due to some miscommunication, when I could have simply just had to visit twice. These guys are great! My laptop crapped out on me three days ago, just wouldn't turn on. I work from home so my laptop is essential. I took it to quick fix and dealt with Anthony.He did a rush diagnostic for me and found out my motherboard went out, but he was able to transfer all of my important data to my sisters laptop which I am currently using until my computer is fixed by gateway (still under manufacturers warranty).
