Wow, he is truly amazing and such a professional! I decided to gift my family our family videos that had been sitting in a box for over 13 years for Christmas. The quality of work was perfect. And because it was the holidays he was beyond busy but still helped me get my gift in time. Needless to say my family has been stuck to the TV watching the videos. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. HIGHLY recommended!! read more

Cheaper and quicker than the local alternative. Received my stuff on time, what more could you want? Thank you Alex

Alex did an excellent job digitizing a large amount of tapes and completed them in a timely manner onto a USB flash drive. The last box of tapes that I gave were completed right before Christmas so that was a nice surprise. Alex also informs you if there are any tapes that were blank or not salvageable. My family and I enjoy watching all of our memories that were able to be saved. The quality is great as well and you can tell which tapes were almost done for. Thankfully we had them digitized in time. We will definitely go to Alex for any further digitizing needs and highly recommend him. He also followed COVID safety guidelines by wearing a mask and social distancing. Get your memories saved before it's too late! Thank you Alex! read more

Amazing service, quick responder, very kind, professional, amazing low cost and easy to request and ship items to them. No need to travel, simply mail them the items and they take care of the red and ship them back. I would definitely recommend Quick Digitals :) read more

A couple months ago I took 15 tapes from an old family camcorder to Alex. In about a week he converted all the footage to a usb flash drive. Alex was professional, fast, and convenient. I've recommend his services several times to family. I'm going back to to him to convert a few more tapes to digital. Highly recommended! read more

Excellent experience! All my old VHS were seamlessly transferred to great quality digital files. Alex was great! He even did some extra work for me upon my request, after the fact. Very professional, highly recommended. read more

I wasn't in a rush, but wanted to get my childhood VHS recordings digitized since my father passed away. I kept looking at places and they either shipped the tapes out, or I had to pay extra for the format I wanted. I just wanted the video files on an external hard drive and Alex delivered just that. I dropped off 14 video tapes on Tuesday and said I didn't need them until May 23rd. He called me Wednesday and said that some of my tapes were just TV recordings and that I didn't have to pay for them and for me to look through them to double check if there was anything on there that we wanted later. He labeled all the tapes with the file numbers, and which ones were TV recordings. I picked up my tapes today along with MP4s on my external HD and I couldn't be happier to hear my dad's voice again! Thanks Alex, for the easy transaction! At $10/tape with barely a wait, this service is a steal. read more

Alex is great. He converted 7 of my Hi8 tapes in to digital in about 3 days. I dropped off the tapes at his house and picked them up. Each tape is about 1.5 - 2 hrs and the quality on them is great. They are each about 2GB in size so a total of about 15gb for 7 tapes 2 hours each. I wasn't in a rush to get them done, i gave him a week however he just did them in 3 days. So he can handle bigger capacity jobs pretty fast. I will be bringing another round of 9 more tapes to him for the conversion. Also, when i came back to pick them up, i had him copy everything to a USB 3.0 (PC Compatible) hard drive and he did it in about 10 minutes while i just waited in my car and played candy crush. My tapes were really old and i was initially afraid that they would get messed up during copying. They haven't been touched for 15 years. He was able to give them back to me, no problem at all. Worth the money. read more

I sent in 10 VHS videos to get them transferred to USB. I received the USB drive back within a few days, reviewed the files (great quality), and Quick Digitals recycled the old tapes for me afterwards. Alex has great customer service (responsive to phone calls and email) and Quick Digitals have the best prices around. I highly recommend Quick Digitals to handle valuable memories/items. I will be using Quick Digitals for all future projects. read more

Took my wedding vhs to be transferred to a digital file and Alex did a great job. Super fast, extremely reasonable, and very efficient! ...and to top it off Alex is sweet and easy to work with. A note about the location: my gps got a bit confused as to where the specific location is, so if this happens to you as well here's a bit of clarification: if you're coming up Allen (driving away from Glen Oaks) it's the alley on the left, not right. Just thought it might be helpful for potential clients to know! read more

Alex is great! Got a bunch of things transferred at a great price...Highly recommend him!

Alex helped me transfer some very precious videos of my first born so that my family could enjoy the memories; otherwise, the videos would have been lost in the twilight zone of outdated tapes. He made it so easy by meeting me at my car and explaining the process. The service was affordable and quick. He was very patient in explaining how I could access the videos on my laptop and share it with friends and family. I would recommend him to anyone! read more

In June I delivered over 3800 slides and 59 videos, in various formats, to Alex at Quick Digitals. These were all family trips, videos of my son when he was a baby, and other events from the last 40 years. The quality of the images and videos are FANTASTIC! He was able to transfer all of but 2 of the old videos (those tapes were bad). I'm just delighted that my analog history is now safely translated to a digital version that the family will be able to enjoy. Alex was great to work with and accommodated my weird schedule since I was doing this in the middle of a move. I cannot be happier with the results. He also had the best rates I could find for this service. You can trust your treasured family slides and videos to his care. read more

Alex was great, professional and fast. VHS, mini dv, dvd - he can digitalize it all, and well on a hard drive or usb stick. Don't be thrown off by the residential area he works out of. He got the job done and perfectly. read more

Life saver! Alex got my .wmv and .mp4 files onto DVD in within 15 minutes of me getting him the files.

Turnover in less than 24 hours. As other reviews stated, it's not a storefront, so do call first. Amazing prices, cheaper than big box conversion services, and there is an actual fave to the business. I needed some tapes converted the day of my wedding anniversary. It was done quickly and professionally. Highly recommend. read more

Alex is awesome!! I took in 11 VHS home video tapes to convert to digital files and I am so happy with the result. Very professional, very quick and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!! read more

Alex did a great job transferring old VHS tapes to digital. The tapes were over 20 years old and I got what I needed to show people my work. And at a rather reasonable rate. Quick turn over too. Thank you. read more

So great! We got our DVDs in just a few days. For such a cheap price, it doesn't make sense to go anywhere else.

I'm devoted to Alex's digital service. He's fast, reliable, attentive and he strives to optimize, not just get the job done. He's really quick. Same day seems pretty easy to arrange. He can take care of pretty good sized orders. His price can't be beat. And he's game to do odd things -- I asked him to dub a videodisc. He pointed out that he could attach the antique device via its S-video connector, making the product better than just a multi-strand AV cable. That's care you can't buy. Alex is on the case, and on the side of getting the product done quickly, competently and as well as can possibly be realized. Also, it's a pleasure doing business with him. If you need dubs and you're within 15 miles -- let Alex get it done! read more

AMAZING! Great, easy, convenient, & honest work. Just some words to summarize my experience with Alex. Got a little thrown off by the location and the "drive thru" seemed sketch but it wasn't bad at all and actually convenient. I had found some old tapes that I couldn't even find the VHS converters for anymore and decided to finally get with the times and transfer them to digital files onto my hard drive. He was able to do all that in a matter of days. I finally got thru watching them all and it came out greater than expected. His pricing is unbeatable and incomparable to the memories he has saved for me. He reassured me that if the tapes end up blank that there will be no charge which was nice to know considering I haven't seen these tapes in years! I will definitely be coming back for more when I find more tapes! Thanks again Alex! read more

Working with Alex was a pleasure. He responded quickly and did all of my tapes so quickly! It only took a day or 2 to convert all the tapes I sent him. He was always available to answer any questions I might have as well. I would highly recommend you use them to convert your collection as well. read more

This place is great. Alex is professional and efficient. He converted my 25 year old wedding videos to usb. The sound was terrible on my videos but he somehow made them sound better and the picture was great. Now that I see the results, I am giving him my kids videos to convert to usb too. read more

Overall I LOVED my experience here. I went in with 10 VHS for me and 25 from my boss. Alex was so nice, responsive, and patient while I freaked out about handing over precious videos over to a stranger. He answered all my questions and seemed to genuinely care about my concerns. And to top off everything he charges literally half of what other places do. Just a precaution for those of you who might get confused when you go there, he doesn't have a storefront, but don't get worried, he is the best. I have already recommended him to several people. read more

I've worked with Alex several times and his work has been awesome! In the last year, I have given him perhaps 200 VHS and 150 cassettes to be digitized for archiving purposes. He is super friendly, fast and efficient in his work. Alex's way of organizing has made my job so much easier. And if the tapes have issues, he works to fix it. And if it's unsalvageable, he makes sure to communicate that and not charge for something that didn't get digitized. Anyway, Alex is rad and I always a pleasure to work with! read more

Competitively priced, reliable, fast, and professional. QuickDigitals encoded 20 of my miniDV tapes to MP4 so I could import into Apple photos. Worked great. The videos look great (well, as good as standard def DV can be, we are spoiled by HD). I will continue to use this service and tell my friends. I gave up trying to encode them myself after buying a DV camera off eBay, which then couldn't read the tapes properly. I'm sure Alex has good equipment and maintains it well, as these tapes were 10 yrs old. Thanks!! read more

I would definitely use Alex again for any vhs to dvd conversion needs. Professional and courteous, I dropped off my video in the evening and by next morning he gave me a call saying it was ready. The quality was exactly the same, nothing was lost. I would highly recommend to anyone. read more

Alex is the BEST! I feel so lucky to have found him on Yelp! He's SO good, it seems like a word of mouth thing- like you need to have that one friend who knows him to tell you about it. He is fast, friendly, professional, no frills, no upsells, super easy to deal with and his prices cannot be beat! I gave him 2 tapes and he had it done in less than 24 hours. The quality was superb. I can go on and on, but sufficed to say- stop looking, you found your guy! read more
