First off, I had mailed in a bunch of my tapes to a company in North Carolina, never got my copies, a year later, I got my tapes back. When I went to look at the tapes, most of them were not even mine. So I decided this time I was going to find somebody that was reputable, that I could actually hand them off to and not put them in the mail. My trust level was very low. I saw the great reviews from this company, and decided to drive down and drop them off. When you're dealing with your memories, you can't get those back. What made them stand out from competitors was that they didn't charge extra for longer VHS tapes. The cost per VHS tape and all the positive reviews made me feel comfortable using their service. I called before heading out to make sure they would be available. The address provided is a residential address so don't be surprised. The VHS drop off was easy. I handed over the VHS tapes and the USB drive and I received a piece of paper with how many tapes I left and the service I requested. Alex followed covid safe protocols.  Exactly 7 days later I got a call that VHS tapes had been converted. I called again before heading out and collected the tapes and the USB drive. Amazing amazing amazing...Alex completed a very large order of dubs for me - over 700 VHS tapes with a good chunk of them having 6 to 8 hours of footage. Provided so many wonderful trips down memory lane, as I discovered some things I had forgotten I had recorded! The transfer quality was great and all those tapes fit on one high-capacity hard drive. Alex did an excellent job digitizing a large amount of tapes and completed them in a timely manner onto a USB flash drive. The last box of tapes that I gave were completed right before Christmas so that was a nice surprise. Alex also informs you if there are any tapes that were blank or not salvageable. My family and I enjoy watching all of our memories that were able to be saved. The quality is great as well and you can tell which tapes were almost done for.
