I've seen two phlebotomists here, both were highly unskilled. By far more painful than any other blood draws I've ever received. They're terrible at the only job they have. read more

I read the reviews right before my appointment and almost cancelled. I went anyway, and arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment. Even though there were other patients there, I was taken back on time. Didn't even feel the needle stick, and had several tubes taken. No problems, staff were skilled and professional yet friendly and welcoming. Very enjoyable, if you can say that for a blood draw. I would definitely use them again. read more

THIS PLACE SUCKS BALLS! If there was a negative 10 stars this place would get it! I am more than livid with this lab. A bunch of complete useless idiots work here and thats being nice! I had to do a 24 hour urine test, which meant I had to collect every drop of urine for 24 hours & keep it refrigerated. Its a pain in the butt to do in the first place & your pretty much stuck home for 24 hours unless you want to carry around pee & a cooler everywhere you go, but this lab lost my specimen after I dropped it off!!! Then to make matters worse, I redo the test and drop off a 2nd 24 hr urine and they gave me an expired container and said they can't run the test because the container is expired by 2 days!!! Why would they even keep expired containers! So now I'm expected to do this bullshit a 3rd time because of their complete incompetence. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! How can one place be such complete idiots twice in a row. DON'T GO TO THIS LAB, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! read more

I've been to Quest twice now. My mistake I was sent to Quest instead of Labcorp. My first visit to a Quest in San Ramon I also wrote a poor reviews. My second visit to Quest was here at the La Casa site. I have given blood dozens of times over the past 10 year. I've never had a black and blue knot on my arm where the blood was drawn. The lady that did the draw had a smug attitude. I thought at the time she must not of cared for me or she hates her job. Either way, it's completely unacceptable in my book. This black and blue knot on my arm is BS. I'm sticking with Labcorp from now on. And if this knot doesn't take care of itself I'm going to there corporate office and oversight organization that regulates phlembotomists. read more

Please note that the drug test for employee screening is done only between 9am-3pm Monday to Friday. They don't do such tests on Saturdays. I am not sure what's the difference between the conducting the tests. It's just about collecting samples. This information is not published on Quest Website. Please call them up prior to visiting so saves you a trip. read more

Waiting nearly an hour to even be acknowledged is the worst client services I've ever experienced. The front desk is hardly supervised and the employee is extremely curt and discourteous. I asked to make an appointment for better service and was told I can't even make an appointment in the office. I have to call some central number. This was an optional lab work up. I chose to ultimately not wait any longer and left without services. This is not the first poor experience with Quest labs. I will not choose to do business with Quest any longer on future medical needs. read more

Lady was rude and a bit nasty. She complained about being the only one in the office. Not wasting my time writing a long review about the crappy service Waited like 25 minutes and walked out. read more

This place has the slowest service of any Quest Lab I have been to. Don't go here if you are on a time crunch. There is more than one staff member so I am not sure what the delay is all about. read more

I've been going to this location for years and Marevil is the best. In fact, all of the ladies are I have dealt with at this facility are both friendly and professional. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment online. This is the key to getting in and out as quickly as possible. You can certainly just walk-in, but of course that just turns into a waiting game and who needs all that added stress when you're already anxious about getting your blood drawn. read more

I was here once before and they took appointments over walk-ins. This time, they seemed to just take everyone in the order they arrived. So don't come on your lunch hour like I did. You may have to wait. I like the Pleasant Hill location better. read more

There's no one that works at the front desk and took an hour just to get called in. Would not recommend this place unless you want to wait.

They take forever and take patients in random order. What is worse is that they did the wrong lab test even though my physician had provided a detailed order. I heard back from my physician about the wrong lab test. Quest did not even have the courtesy to call me for a redraw even after they were contacted by my physician. I had to go back and they took very long to verify and redo the test. Very unprofessional. read more

Their address is now 108 La Casa Via. A nice larger waiting room. However the computer gal is the same. She has no clue. I told her my insurance had changed and she never entered the new billing address. I talked to Quest 8 different times untill someone told me that the local office where I get my blood drawn is the one that should be checking that its correct. When I challenged her on it she just said thats what comes up. I tolf her that a different lady had actually gone in and changed in last month. I got no response. This office is terrible. In fact quest the company is a joke. read more

The only reason I gave it one star was that the person I checked in with was reasonably friendly. The wait was almost 90 minutes. Ridiculous. There were only five people in front of me. But it took 90 minutes before I got in there. Then I told them how long I had waited but no apology. Nothing. They just said it happens. It hurt when she put in the needle. I've got good veins, have given blood lots of times. Bad service, bad technicians, ridiculous wait time, tiny waiting room, very stuffy. Will never go there again. read more

Registered online two days prior for blood test at 8:00 AM. Testing was done on time. Staff was professional and friendly. I switched from LabCorp when my doctor did not received last month blood test and LabCorp did not received the test order from my doctor. Facility was clean, and parking the car easy. read more

Such bad rude service every time. No one speaks English it seems, either. It takes hours to even be seen.

If they were any slower they would be dead. They are inefficient and the billing dept. seems to always get it wrong. Can you say double billing? read more

I have to agree with most where they say that the wait is quite annoying. However, Marevil does a great job and is quick and efficient. I have smaller veins that some have problems with but have had no problems with Marevil. I typically go to this location for my bloodwork. read more

Just now, I waited in line for 10 minutes just to sign in. Then I waited for 40 minutes without being called up to process my paperwork for my ten year old daughter, who needed blood work and was very scared and upset. I finally went up to inquire as to why I hadn't been called yet, I was told I did not have an appointment and they would only see those with appointments. I told her I made one online but she said it didn't go through. There was no apology, no kindness, just a nasty tone. I couldn't understand why no one told me that they wouldn't be able to do the blood work on my daughter, and instead willingly let us sit there and waste our time for 40 minutes. It's a really sad situation that people can't treat others with respect and dignity. We won't be back to this location. read more

Checked in for an appointment for blood work after a 12 hr fast. The office was quiet and only two other people in the waiting room and two staff members. We waited for what was expected to be 15 mins tops, after all, a PROFESSIONALLY run medical office doesn't make their patients who have been fasting to wait for another 45 MINUTES while these two staff members who were hostile and snippy to one another in front of the people in the waiting room play their drama out. Seems these unprofessionals took it out on those of us needing lab work done. They were curt, purposely SLOWWWWW, ignored the needs of elderly who can't sit for long periods. After 45 minutes and the blood clinician who doubles as a lousy receptionist refused to answer my wait time I asked about since it's been nearly an hour now, and we needed to feed and get to another appointment. We left these two female clowns to continue to go at each other. UNACCEPTABLE Quest Lab. You need to stop scraping the bottom of the barrel in your hires! read more

I had an appointment at 9:45am. They were very polite & professional. My wait was 20min. Most wait times are do to selfish patients who show up late. Unfortunately the doctors & labs won't send the late ones packing. Instead the rest of us have to wait while the late ones get seen. I will come back here again. read more

Would never go to a Quest Diagnostics again, for any reason. Let me elaborate.... First of all, there is no way to talk to a human via the phone number. I needed to confirm that my doctor's order had been faxed. There is no way to confirm that. You have to drive there. This ultimately cost me two trips when I could have made one, but wait, there's more... So I show up for a routine test I have done there before. Really hoping my doctor's order has been successfully faxed, but I have no way of knowing since the phone line is 100% automated with no way to connect to anyone. (I even tried the phone tree for physicians, and was put to a voicemail that they never responded to.) Anyways, I get there and they say that yes they got the order, but they don't do that lab test anymore. "Please feel free to drive to a lab in Sacramento or San Jose." My mouth drops. I can drive two hours? Gee, did you think to call me and inform me of that? My phone number is on the fax, a simple phone call would have been unbelievably helpful. tl;dr : Phone system worse than Comcast/ATT, and office staff completely dropped the ball on common courtesy. Thank you for wasting several hours of my time. read more

There were an average of 3-4 people in the waiting room while I was there the other day. It was not really a busy morning but it still took me an hour and a half to be called for my blood to be drawn. read more

First time using this location. Although there was a long wait, I didn't mind. What I did mind was getting a call on Friday just before closing time to tell me that they took one less vial of blood than they needed and I need to come back on Monday morning. NOT OK!! read more

Just finished a blood test for my two year old son. Marivel at the front desk was super helpful with my insurance. Annie did the blood draw...and she was incredibly kind and gentle with my son. I am impressed!! The location has changed...now 108 La Casa Via. Oh, little wait time, too! read more

The lab offers some of the worst customer service experience I've had at a lab facility. I have a tight mid week schedule as I work quite a bit so I was told to call in advance to schedule my lab appointment. I did. When I arrived, no one was working at the front desk so I assigned myself in and write in my arrival time. I came 5 minutes early. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes and finally called out for someone to come to the front desk to help me. Apparently, the assistant that came to the desk never checked the sign in sheet nor the preset appointments made for her lab. I will never return to this lab again and am content driving to further out lab locations to avoid the issues I've experienced here. read more

The worst lab I have ever gone to. I made an appointment. When I arrived I was told I was 7 minutes late. I then waited for 1 1/2 hours while everyone who was there went ahead of me. The blood work was done almost two weeks ago and I still haven't gotten the results. The two women who worked there were oblivious to the clients who waited and waited. I would never go to that lab again. read more

So slow, slower than a soviet system of care. Waited more than 45 minutes, just to get someone to take paperwork. Can't make appointments for 3 days. Totally unacceptable. Corporate headquarters should shut the place down read more

Of the available Quest Labs in the area, this one is my favorite. They're quick and friendly and their phlebotomists are amazing. There's one about five minutes from my house but I drive an extra 10 to go here because it's so much better. read more

Poorly run, understaffed, long wait times. Go elsewhere if you can. The staff is professional and competent. They are not the problem. Quest must be on an austerity budget. They only have two people working on Saturdays with as many as 15-20 people waiting their turn in the reception room. Since Quest closed its Danville office on Saturday, people go to Walnut Creek for blood draws and other tests. It's fine if you have an hour or an hour and a half to sit and wait. Most people don't. read more

Do not get your blood taken at this lab. They are completely understaffed. I'm in the waiting room right now and have been waiting for an hour! There is one person working here who also takes the blood. I'm staying to get it done but I will never come back. This is not the fault of the phlebotomist working here, it is a problem with management and staffing. read more

I had an appointment at 9:30 on a Saturday, showed up at 9:15, and at 9:45 they still hadn't collected basic information from me. The two staff that were there were rude and completely incapable of answering basic questions. These are the same staff expected to draw blood. There was a walk-in who had been waiting for 1.75 hours. There was also someone with a 9:00 appointment who also had not yet been seen. I will never go back to this location or use Quest labs for anything unless I have to. I would avoid this place AT ALL COSTS. Ironically, they have a sign that says "We value your time - make an appointment!". Ha. read more

My review is actually zero stars, but Yelp doesn't have that option. They are completely understaffed for the number of patients coming through here. If you are coming for a urine analysis please wear a diaper because your bladder will fail before anyone sees you. The Quest corporation management probably ran the numbers and discovered that patients are more likely to wait for hours before they will drive to another office. read more
