very impressed with this place. i had gone to other quest locations and they are always full and dirty or their staff is unwelcoming. since walking in i was taken aback by the cleanliness and sleek design or everything. they have easy check in they have two check in tablets with big letters and easy instructions (plus multiple languages). my grandma is elderly and has a hard time getting drawn but MARINA was very awesome with her and helped her feel at ease the whole time despite the language barrier. Edith is AMAZING!! I had to come twice unfortunately because during my first visit the tech said she couldn't get any more blood, so I had to reschedule for the next day and try again. I felt so sick after just half of a tube. The next day I came back and was nervous about getting sick again but this time I got Edith. Not only did she get me in early but she was so gentle and filled 5 tubes in under a minute and I didn't feel a thing. I was so shocked. I was in and out before my actual appointment time and didn't get weak or nauseous at all, I was so happy I could cry! I had been going to lapcorp for my blood draws and they are terrible. I requested to switch to Quest because I've always had good experiences with them. This location is great! 5 stars. The entrance is a little confusing if you've never been here before. I'd come like 5-10 minutes early if you are directionally challenged like me lol. Making an appointment is super easy online. Took me less than 3 minutes. Easy to reschedule and cancel appointments as well with zero hassle. My appointment was at 3:30pm. They close at 4 according to Google. I got there at 3:25. I was seen exactly at 3:30! My blood draw was very smooth and painless. The lady who did it was professional and quick. No annoying countdown "1,2,3 quick pinch". If I lived in the area I'd absolutely come back. Only criticism is that it was kind of dirty in there. I think it could use a deep cleaning especially on the walls. But the experience was great overall. I was in and out within 10 minutes! For parking: park in the back where it says "additional parking". There is a small entrance that said something like "pediatrics". Go in there. It leads you to a hall way. Just walk until you see Quest. It was on the right hand side. SCHEDULE IN THE MORNING IF YOU'RE FASTING OR NOT AT ALL. Went in for bloodwork and had an appointment for 3pm, which I fasted all day for. I got there 45 minutes early and was not seen until 3:40. Blood wasn't drawn until 3:45. There is no desk person, only a kiosk and a door. I am Type One Diabetic and planned my whole day around not letting my bloood sugar fall too low, and it still did because I was waiting for over an hour. One employee LEFT while 5 people were waiting and told us it'd be slow because there was only one person now. Said one person came out looking for the same appointment three times before calling anyone else in, and always slammed the door shut before I could even open my mouth to mention my low sugar. Once I finally got in, the appointment went well, the woman taking my blood was kind and got me through it quickly. But Lord if I don't know now to schedule in the morning and somewhere ELSE! read more

Walked in just after they opened, there is no receptionist and you have to check in on a crappy little kiosk. It was expected that I had an appointment, which I did not, but the machine allowed me to check in. Sat in a dirty, poorly circulated lobby for an hour, watching dozens of others filter in and out of the lobby as they were prioritized over me. At one point, some loudmouth barged in and ranted about he was called by them for a blood draw and demanded to be seen ASAP, which they instantly capitulated to and got him taken care of. At the hour mark, I flagged down one of the girls and asked how long I was going to wait as I had other appointments today. Had an appointment at 2:20 PM and got a confirmation code, confirmation text, AND reminder the day of. I tried to check in at 2:18 PM and all of a sudden it says I don't have an appointment. I was the only one in the waiting room at that time so I knocked on the door to see if someone can help me, but the lady inside glanced over and just kept walking. There's nowhere inside the waiting room where it lets an employee know that someone needs help out there. I tried calling the number but it doesn't have an option to speak to someone inside the office. So I added myself for the next available appointment that day since I couldn't get ahold of someone inside, and since I was the only one waiting in the waiting room I thought I would be next. It wasn't until the next person checked in that an employee came out to the waiting room. I expressed my concerns that I made it to my appointment on time, and that I tried getting their attention for assistance but no one came. She just said "the best we can do is get you in as soon as possible." The other patients in the waiting room even vouched for me and said I was there before all of them and that I could go before them, but the employee just said "it doesn't work like that everyone has to stick to their appointments." Terrible customer service and I ended up waiting almost an hour. Do NOT come here. There's another quest down the street which is the other brockton location which is much cleaner. read more

Worst day ever for quest!!! A.C unit was out so they said they can't take anyone and that we needed to go to other location and they would take us right away, nope no!!! How do you close and turn people away that have appointments and not even get any notification?!?!?! Why couldn't you just do the appointments you have and tell walk ins that you where only doing appointments tell noon. Not only did you send everyone away to other locations but you expected the other locations to just accommodate us because you said so. I get a email 2 hours later that my appointment time, saying that my appointment would be canceled so that didn't help me now did it. I feel so bad for all the elderly people and the people that had to fast. read more

Made an appointment in the app. You come in and don't need to talk to anyone! You check in using an iPad. Easy peasy. This is perfect for when I have introvert tendencies. I came to this location for blood work after my doctors office couldn't find a vein even after 3 tries. Diane told me from the start that if the other place had tried several times, she may not be able to take my blood that same day. (I liked that she was open and honest instead of stabbing me multiple times like the other place did.) After about like 3 minutes of looking for a vein and doing multiple compressions to find one (I have the tiniest veins ever) she put in the butterfly needle once and got 7 viles of blood out within what felt like a minute. The easiest experience I have ever had drawing blood ever. read more

Never will I go to this quest again. Racism is alive and well here. The Caucasian lady that called me back to the back was cold as ice..she gave me the coldest nastiest look when she saw who I was. She did not lead me to the room she was just walking behind me and I kept asking her where do I go. I had to stop and turn around to ask her where to go and the look she gave me was Nasty. As she was typing my info in the cold vibe she gave off was like she didn't want me there and she says to me you have a $192 copay. I said for what?? This is my annual routine bloodwork. Mind you I have insurance through my employer. She said well the total cost for all the blood work is well over $1200!! Well isn't that what insurance is for?? I've NEVER paid a copay for annual lab work - and it was the standard lab order (I work in healthcare). I told her I didn't want it done and would follow up with the insurance company - which I did and they confirmed it was covered. I then went to the Quest in Moreno Valley - night and day service. The girl that helped me was so sweet and she said there was no copay - she didn't even mention a copay until I asked if there was one. She said nope - there isn't since this looks like a routine annual blood work order. Beware of this location. read more

Quest lab Diagnostics billing and office personnel are incompetent. It took almost a year to resolve billing and collection issues. I have excellent insurance. I went in for blood draw and technician said he could not draw my blood because I had a outstanding balance. We have called 3 other times to resolve and each time they said it was resolved, (Nope). They are dishonest staff, and poor billing practices. I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and I would never turn away anyone for a billing issue. Treat people and worry about payment later because sooner or later this will comeback to you. I was NPO for half the day and not feeling the love. Try LabCorp, probably the same, but not Quest. read more

Showed up early(10am) to an 1130am Appointment. Talked to the lady at the front desk and asked if there's a possibility of being seen early? Stated they don't see and issue with it. Guy walks in 20 Mins late and was seen right away.(irritation 1) waiting room shortly after was completely empty for 20 Mind, I was never seen. I talked with a 2nd person she stated I was next this was at 1045am. 3 people walk in shortly after and were seen right away. Talked to the 2nd lady again and she stated she "never said you/I was next". (Irrigation 2) Now 2 of the 3 workers go on break. (Irritation 3) Guy walks in at 11 and has a 1120 appointment and was in and out within 10 mins. 1114 a lady walks in with a 1140 appointment and was seen within 5 min. 1115am hear staff in the back room say he'll wait till 1130 not a min earlier!(irritation 1000) 1130 appointment checks in at 1125 and was seen right away. Wasn't seen till 11:35, employee says sorry for the inconvenience but when I was called,but no one was in the waiting room. I went to the Plaza cite and a very rude worker told me to sign in, all I had was a sputum sample from my wife to drop off, it was probably two minutes and she refused to help, she told me to go to the Brockton cite because there are more help, nope, I was told to sign in again and I would have to wait 20 minutes just to drop it off and sign a paper, totally ridiculous totally unprofessional. read more

I love Quest! Especially this location. It's kind of weird to be excited to go get my blood drawn, but I came here almost weekly when I was pregnant and it always reminds me of such a happy time. The ladies are always very kind, helpful and extremely gentle. I used to be terrified of needles but the ladies here helped me get used to them and not even stress about them at all. I don't write reviews often, but I just have to say how impressed I was by this phlebotomist we had. We had to get bloodwork done for our 15 month old, she has never had it done before, and as a first time mom I was freaking out. The woman who helped us had reviews on her wall saying she has been a phlebotomist for 29 years! Well I definitely believe her. Not only was she kind and helpful, she was wearing full PPE and directed us in the best way to make it a good experience. My daughter DIDN'T EVEN CRY. It was the craziest thing, and I can only bet it's because of her attention to detail. So just wanted to say thank you!! read more

Drove out of my way to this location because it had the highest rating on YELP (yes I'm that girl lol). So glad I did. My phlebotomist was great and I literally felt nothing as she drew blood. Super gentle and seemed to really care about my comfort level. My insurance covered the routine lab work. I would drive out of my way again for a 5 star experience. Blood work is something that I don't enjoy getting done, however the employee who worked on me, Diane, did an amazing job! Been to this lab a few times for blood work. I get in and out of there in a reasonable time. Staff is courteous and efficient in getting all blood drawn for the required tests that the doctor has ordered. They will accommodate patients who speak Spanish, or another language. This lab also accommodates patients who are dependent upon wheelchairs or can not transfer to the lab chairs in the draw rooms. A must use lab. read more

He puts me at ease and always uses the butterfly needle (I have Fibromyalgia) and is very friendly/professional. I never make an appt but it never takes me more than 20-25 mins to be in and out. It was definitely out of my way but so worth it. The location is clean, receptionist is friendly. I had to come to Quest this morning for blood work. Anything involving a needle is my absolute least favorite thing in the world and I get pretty nervous going in! The staff was very friendly and accommodating when I told them that I was "One of those" that got a little squeamish to give blood. They had me lay down instead of sit up, and I was in a room by myself which was nice for privacy (I believe all of their rooms are this way). The phlebotomist, Celeste, was extremely kind and gentle, and I hardly felt a thing. We talked the whole time and she was great at distracting me. The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. I gave 4 stars because there was no wait and I still had to wait 25 minutes to get in. read more

This is a lot to read. So in a nut shell....Edith is GREAT!! The front staff in most cases are friendly and professional. Each person is a unique specimen. I personally hate having to have blood drawn. My pressure is low, blood is thick, (DRINK MORE WATER) and veins easily collapse. My condition has become worse as I continue to age. I am so thankful that I have found Edith! She is in the Riverside Quest Branch. No one will draw my blood but her. She has been my phlebotomist now regularly (3mons intervals) for more than a year. I specifically request her. I asked her if she liked her job and she said she "loved it". So she should be around for a long time. However you have to know when someone is recognized for their talents they soon are promoted out of the system. I am also thinking that if she gets enough personal recognition the "company" may well look into why she is so very proficient. My wife and I usually go in together every three months. She had her blood drawn as well. A ghastly story. The person drawing the blood tried to blame her for the challenge to hit the mark. Before blood was drawn she was told she had to drink more water. (This is not an issue for my wife, water is in her hand all day long.) The first attempt in her right arm left her with a 1" bruised lump still there the next day. (Today) The right arm was successful and the flow was fine. I recognize that training is a big part of a successful phlebotomist. Still it should be recognize that the person whose blood is being drawn is experienced the most with their body and should be given due intelligent consideration.
