This is about the labwork done to my daughter and Easy Pay Statement. Ok, I get that some insurances that are out there has a co-pay. Some patients don't have a good insurance coverage that's why going to the lab costs an arm and a leg. Easy Pay is just money they hold until our insurance pays them and whatever is our portion that's the one they charge/deduct. But customer service representative explained to me that the money they hold on to on Easy Pay are not actually taken from your account when the insurance pays for the labwork in full. Wow. That made sense now. Thank you for doing your job well and explaining it clearly to me. You guys rock ! Keep up the good work. I feel secured now that I can trust you guys. I am writing to formally report an upsetting experience I had at this specific Quest Diagnostics location on Thursday, April 23 at approximately 4:00 PM. I was sent to Quest Diagnostics from LabCorp due to insurance coverage issues, with a time-sensitive lab order from my gynecologist that needed to be completed on the third day of my menstrual cycle. Because my cycle is extremely irregular, this was a critical and urgent appointment. Upon arrival, I was assisted by an employee named Susie. From the beginning of our interaction, her demeanor was unwelcoming and dismissive. When reviewing my lab order (which had originally been written for LabCorp), she repeatedly expressed frustration and emphasized multiple times that transcribing the order into Quest's system would "take a very long time." As a first time patient unfamiliar with this process, I felt uncomfortable and anxious, and I even apologized for the inconvenience despite doing my best to follow instructions given to me. In an effort to assist, I offered to contact my gynecologist's office to obtain any necessary information. While on the phone with my doctor's office, I was placed on a brief hold (approximately three minutes) to retrieve a required code. During this time, Susie became visibly impatient and informed me that she could no longer wait and would cancel the entire order, specifically stating there is a "two minute company policy" for waiting on calls. She then instructed me to step outside into the waiting room while I completed the call, stating the appointment would continue once I had the information. However, when I returned with the requested details and attempted to have my provider speak directly with her, she refused to assist me further, told me to wait for someone else, and dismissed me entirely. At that point, I requested my paperwork back, which she returned. When I asked for her supervisor or contact information to escalate the issue, she stated there was no one available. This experience was extremely distressing, especially given the medical urgency and my already heightened anxiety. I felt dismissed, disrespected, and unsupported during a time-sensitive and important healthcare process. My partner, who was present, also witnessed this interaction and found the behavior to be inappropriate and unprofessional. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed appropriately. No patient should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when seeking necessary medical care especially when they are actively trying to cooperate and resolve issues. read more

I made my appointment online and it went so well. I scheduled it during my lunchtime. I received a text with a link to check in. You cannot check in earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment time. As soon as 10 minutes had lapsed I checked in by text. I was directed to take a seat & wait for my time to be called. I entered and noticed the waiting room was pretty full but I was able to snag a seat. It was under 5 minutes when I was called back. The technician mispronounced my name, caught herself & let out an embarrassed laugh. She apologized but I was laughing with her. Anyhow, she was very friendly, asked for my doctor's orders & told me where to hang my purse & jacket. Her name was Fran and she had a very exuberant personality. She put me at ease immediately. I am a challenging patient due to my tiny veins. But Fran was undeterred and was the consummate professional. I didn't even feel the needle going in. She was able to extract my blood with no pain. Those are mad skills! I highly recommend going online & making an appointment. It's so easy & convenient! I was out of there in under 10 minutes! All those people in the waiting room were walk-ins! Trust me, make an appointment & you will be in and out in a snap! read more

Beware! If you make an appt and they send you a calendar link, that link will show the old address and may result in you missing your appt!! Too bad they don't fix that error, and good luck trying to talk to a human on the phone. Have a standing order for INR blood draw for warfarin dosage treatment. Doctor's office has had to send them the order repeatedly, cause Qwest keeps saying there is no order and won't do blood draw. Of course INR for warfarin is a standing order! Why does Qwest keep loosing the order? This happens too often, much too often! And when I try calling Qwest, the electronic phone system has no option to ever get a live human, just keeps going in circles of various recorded messages. read more

HORRIBLE service! Yani/Yoni and staff are not helpful. Yoni (not sure how this is spelled) blatantly lied to me. You be the judge. Last Tuesday I went to Quest on Day St, Moreno Valley. I did not know I had to fast. So, last minute, while in the seat, I was told to come back while fasting. They actually called the doctor for me. I had to wait one more week. Test had to be on a Tuesday, 5 hours after taking my meds, while fasting. I went to QUEST on Heacock because it was closer. I thought the order was in the system from the previous week, and forgot to bring the paper copy. Not only was it not saved in the system, but they would not allow me to email it from my doctor's email to me. They said I had to FAX it, or the doctor had to FAX it. I, not Yani called my doctor, but she was with a patient. I showed her the order and begged her to email it. I explained that I was fasting, and that the test had to be 5 hours after taking my meds. She told me I can make an appointment for tomorrow. NO, IT MUST BE A TUESDAY! I explained that my meds have to be adjusted, and cannot be until I have this test, and that she was forcing me to wait yet another week. She asks if I live nearby so I can go get the order. Yes! 10 minutes away! She says that is too far! So, I download a fax service on my phone and paid $9.95. All is done from the lobby. Meanwhile the place in empty. They had at least two techs there, and only one customer came in up to this point. She comes back to the desk at 4:05 pm, and states that they close at 4:40. I explain that I downloaded a fax service and was going to fax the order to the number they directed me to earlier. Yani then tells me that it doesn't matter because it takes 30 minutes for my blood to clot after being drawn, and that she has to leave on time!!! Since there is only 25 minutes left, she can just make me an appointment for tomorrow!!!!!How many times does a person have to say that the test must be on a TUESDAY, 5 hours after taking meds, while fasting? Oh, but another person walked in during this conversation, and was checking in on the kiosk. DOESN'T THAT PERSON's BLOOD NEED 30 MINUTES TO CLOT TOO? I looked at the person checking in, and gave Yani a look. She then had the nerve to tell me that she had already spent more time with me than normally allotted for a customer. I yelped all in my area and decided to drive more than an hour away just to go to the Moreno Valley office. I was there for 3 hrs. The staff was very pleasant and treated everyone with the same speedy experience. Walk in, sign in, go to the back no one waited more than 2 minutes before going to the back. I hate needles & needed to be comfortable & around people that know what they are doing. The young lady was so patient with me all 4 times she poked me, i had a full anxiety attack she calmed me down and everything. Ugh i dont remember her name but she is very special!!! An amazing experience! We used to go to Labcorp in the same mall because of our insurance. Now we get to come here instead, and the experience at Quest is so much better! You can be in and out even without an appointment, and staff here is courteous and professional! Good job guys! read more

I always like to give places the benefit of the doubt, so even though this place has one star I decided to go anyway. Well let's just say that this place deserves no stars. The service is the worst. They have a room full of patients (over 15)and yet they only have one phlebotomist. I asked for the wait time as soon as I arrived he said thirty minutes and now it's been well over an hour. I go back up to check on status and of course gives me an attitude. Once I finally got called In, the room and bathroom were disgusting! The bathroom alone was the absolute worst! Completely unclean and unsanitary. I will be making some calls. I urge you to go to a different location if you're in need of getting blood work. read more

It's my second time coming to this quest location, and I think it is very well run. The staff are super friendly, the wait time without an appointment isn't too bad. I've come on a Friday and Monday, and I heard one staff say that Monday's are the busiest. Very pleased with my experience read more
