I have a lab test bill and Quest Diagnostic bill shows some tests were not covered by my insurance. I called my insurance company and they told me they do cover those tests. My insurance company let me ask Quest Diagnostic to file the bill one more time and they can make the change . I called Quest Diagnostic billing department and they refused to refile my bill. She said their policy do not allow them to refile the bill. Never heard this policy before. Neve heard this policy from other companies read more

This location is so mismanaged. Patients are left to sign in on their own and most haven't a clue how to use the kiosks to sign in which means they don't get signed in correctly and then are turned away because they are considered 'late' for their appointment, even though they showed up early and had waited 30+ minutes (not me, witness other patients dealing with this). While other patients actually show up late and are just walked back. There is no rhyme or reason to how they pick and choose who gets 'special treatment' and exceptions to the rules. Even with an prescheduled appointment, one could be waiting an hour or more just to be called back (my situation). Definitely go to a different Quest location if possible. The majority of the issues at this location would be resolved if they had a person working the front desk checking people in and walking back appointments to each phlebotomist (kind of like a host at a restaurant). read more

Labs are either a pass (5) or fail (1), in my opinion. Quest Diagnostics on Day St was a definite 5 rating based on helpfulness, friendliness, promptness, and cleanliness. I made an appointment online through their website (as I've done with other Quest Diagnostics locations I've been to) and the wait time was a breeze! I was in and out within minutes from sign in, to showing my insurance card, to getting brought to a room to draw blood, to reviewing my lab paperwork and collecting my co-pay, and to drawing my blood. I had the brief pleasure of conversing with Albert for a short time and he was excellent, as with the staff working the morning of 2/20/15. Very clean and have a nice, convenient, organized setup. - TV in waiting room shows interesting health topics. - Front desk staffs are consistenly friendly and professional. - For more than 7 years, I never had issues on billing here either (knock on wood again). - Wait time varies. But if you have an appointment, you will be in and out fairly quick. So I suggest using their online appointment system - www.questdiagnostics.com - Open early Mon.- Fri at 7am. So I can get my fasting labs completed just before I head to work. Convenient. - Parking is always available and accessible. - MOST IMPORTANTLY: The phlebotomists in this facility have always been very efficient and precise. My family and I have been coming here for more than 7 years now and not once have I encountered difficulties or double poked (knock on wood). I have my then 12 month old son complete a lab orders here this year; they poked him only once and got the job done. I had a woman named Ashley draw my blood and I couldn't have had a better experience! Place was very clean and nice. The staff was friendly. They took me in as a walk in and hardly any wait time. The tech hit the vein on the first try so kudos to that! When I went for my appointment, they insisted I did not have one until I found it on my phone. No apology. I received a bill when Medicare should have paid. Medicare said it needed to be resubmitted but Quest does not resubmit bills. I was disconnected once, treated rudely by a level 2 service rep, and hung up on by the third rep. I made 6 calls before someone was polite and respectful. I am a profession who does not lose my temper nor was I ever disrespectful to them. They say to stay on the line for a survery but there is never a survey. I will never deal with this company again. read more

Today was my first time having labs done at Quest and it was surprisingly really easy. The girls at the front were pleasant and extremely helpful. My Primary care doctor sent me to Quest with some missing information on the lab orders. After calling my doctors office and still missing the code of where to have my labs sent, one of the girls at the front desk was able to figure it out so that I didn't have to drive back. I went to Quest just shy of 8am, there were a few other people in the waiting room but I was in and out in around 10 minutes. Super fast, easy, helpful, and pleasant staff. read more

Nice staff doing hard work during a risky time, with lots of PPE and sanitizing. Seems like they need a full time receptionist though because I saw staff alternating between working the front desk and working in the back area with patients (and sanitizing heavily between). I highly recommend getting an appointment in advance - I saw walk-ins come in while I was there and they were told it would be a 2 hour wait. Even if you have an appt, you still need to check in on the screen at the desk when you arrive. After checking in, they may tell you to wait in your car. I wouldn't advise doing that. STAY in the waiting room or wait in the hall outside if it is too full. I waited in my car for 30 minutes with no updates. When I went in to check, they claimed they tried calling me, but I had no missed calls or texts, and I know they had my right cell number because I received confirmation/reminder texts the morning of the appointment. They said they called my name as well, but obviously I was in the car, where they had encouraged me to wait!! Which is why I encourage you to wait near the desk, not in your car. Anyway, they saw me pretty quickly after that, and tech issues aside, the staff I worked with were great. read more

They need someone to sit up front full time and manage who's going in and out of the back. I went in for my app at 8:15 for my drug screening and they call me back to get blood work?? then send me back up front bc that's not why I was there THEN tell me I can't bring my daughter into the back so I take her to daycare come back and they again pull me to the back where they FINALLY tell me they can't do the test my employer was requesting. Wouldn't that have been something they should know at my check in at 8:15 !? Wasted my time. Never ever come here on a Monday a with out an appointment. I usually make appointments but this unexpected lab work did not allow me time to make appt. So I have already waiting 1:30min. I think it would be helpful if they had a wait time monitor so people coming in can see the average wait time and can decide if they want to wait or not...like they have in some ER's. read more

Usually this Quest Lab is pretty good at getting me in at my appointment time, but not today. This place wasn't even busy (they had way more empty seats in waiting room than they had full ones) and I still had to wait 20 after my appointment time to get called in to do my lab work. Not happy. I have another appointment after this and now it's cutting it short whether I'm going to be able to make it or not because they weren't their regular selves by calling me in at my appointment time. There were vials of blood laying on the floor that had just been collected, because either the staff is too lazy to pick them up or the guy who poked me couldn't see over his belly to know about them. Also, there was gauze with blood stains on the floor. Also, the guy missed collecting my blood for 3 out of the 4 tests that were ordered. Also, he left an unusually large bruise on my arm, and I don't bruise easily. Someone needs to learn how to use the biohazard bin and go back to phlebotomy school. Definitely not going back to this location to redo the other tests that he had missed. read more

Had an appointment for 8:15am, daughter had an appointment for 8:30am. Arrived and signed in at 8:10am. At 8:13am a person without an appointment was called in for there test. At 8:20am a woman with an 8:00am walked in. At 8:25am she was called in for her test. When I inquired why she went before me, I was told "Her appointment was for 8:00." My conclusion: make an appointment, be late for the appointment and you will be called first. When I was finally called, I asked if my daughter and I could be processed at the same time since it involved providing the same exact 2 cards. I was told no, because there was someone else with another appointment in between. Actually there was NOT. My daughters last name is not the same as mine. Instead of asking my daughters name, he simply dismissed my request. His body language and facial expressions indicated he was angry. Then he took the blood sample with the BIGGEST gauge needle I have ever seen. I have really small veins, and when a well trained phlebotomist draws my blood they use pediatric needles! (I have had hundreds if not thousands of blood draws). Immediately after my draw was done, he called my daughter, I gave him the same cards I had just previously given him, duh!, and he took my daughter to the back I instructed him my daughter's veins were small, like mine, and he needed to use a pediatric needle to perform the draw. Conclusion: the guy shouldn't be doing blood draws because he doesn't know how to decide on the correct gauge needle to use OR. he is vindictive if you question him in any manner! He should be fired! Additionally this is not the first time I've had problems with being seen with an appointment. I contacted Quest directly. This place is a peace of crap!!!! I came Wednesday at 240 for a drug screening and I was prepared to pee in a cup and go. And for some b.s 10 they wouldn't see me wtf!!! I go the following day to at 930 and I am prepared AGAIN AND NOW I CAN'T HOLD IT. The stupid receptionist Maria say there is 7 ppl head of you there is NOTHING I could do, you could use the restroom and drink water after! Seriously, I am not trying to sit here all day !!!! I am very surprised Quest hiring phlebotomist that do not know how to do their job ! I was serviced by Jasmin and she did not know what she was doing. Worst experience I have had so far!!! This phlebotomist shouldn't be touching anyone if she clearly doesn't know what she is doing. She was basically asking me to tell her what to do and which vein she should use to collect my examples. Unbelievable.... There was another phlebotomist in room one and the same issue, other patients complaining that the phlebotomist doesn't know what she is doing, mostly all the time she it's yelling Maria help ! How is this possible!!! Thankfully the nice and professional phlebotomist Saray who was very skilled took care of me and got my examples fast and without any issue ... you need more people like Saray in such busy lab ! read more

We were about 10 minutes early and they were so packed there were no seats available. The wait for people with no appointment was 2 hours.
