I felt so sick after just half of a tube. The next day I came back and was nervous about getting sick again but this time I got Edith. Not only did she get me in early but she was so gentle and filled 5 tubes in under a minute and I didn't feel a thing. I was so shocked. I was in and out before my actual appointment time and didn't get weak or nauseous at all, I was so happy I could cry! Some patients don't have a good insurance coverage that's why going to the lab costs an arm and a leg. Easy Pay is just money they hold until our insurance pays them and whatever is our portion that's the one they charge/deduct. But customer service representative explained to me that the money they hold on to on Easy Pay are not actually taken from your account when the insurance pays for the labwork in full. Wow. That made sense now. Thank you for doing your job well and explaining it clearly to me. You guys rock ! Keep up the good work. I feel secured now that I can trust you guys. The wait time is still long but worth it.

I am writing to formally report an upsetting experience I had at this specific Quest Diagnostics…read morelocation on Thursday, April 23 at approximately 4:00 PM. I was sent to Quest Diagnostics from LabCorp due to insurance coverage issues, with a time-sensitive lab order from my gynecologist that needed to be completed on the third day of my menstrual cycle. Because my cycle is extremely irregular, this was a critical and urgent appointment. Upon arrival, I was assisted by an employee named Susie. From the beginning of our interaction, her demeanor was unwelcoming and dismissive. When reviewing my lab order (which had originally been written for LabCorp), she repeatedly expressed frustration and emphasized multiple times that transcribing the order into Quest's system would "take a very long time." As a first time patient unfamiliar with this process, I felt uncomfortable and anxious, and I even apologized for the inconvenience despite doing my best to follow instructions given to me. In an effort to assist, I offered to contact my gynecologist's office to obtain any necessary information. While on the phone with my doctor's office, I was placed on a brief hold (approximately three minutes) to retrieve a required code. During this time, Susie became visibly impatient and informed me that she could no longer wait and would cancel the entire order, specifically stating there is a "two minute company policy" for waiting on calls. She then instructed me to step outside into the waiting room while I completed the call, stating the appointment would continue once I had the information. However, when I returned with the requested details and attempted to have my provider speak directly with her, she refused to assist me further, told me to wait for someone else, and dismissed me entirely. At that point, I requested my paperwork back, which she returned. When I asked for her supervisor or contact information to escalate the issue, she stated there was no one available. This experience was extremely distressing, especially given the medical urgency and my already heightened anxiety. I felt dismissed, disrespected, and unsupported during a time-sensitive and important healthcare process. My partner, who was present, also witnessed this interaction and found the behavior to be inappropriate and unprofessional. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed appropriately. No patient should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when seeking necessary medical care especially when they are actively trying to cooperate and resolve issues.

It's very hard to get appointments within a few days in the morning and I think that's because they're so efficient. Destiny has always been my phlebotomist- by chance too - and she is SPECTACULAR. Very attentive, patient and caring. Shes never hurt me or nicked a vein and always has good conversation to distract you if you're not a needle person.

Every time I checked the screen my name was pushed down. I sat there patiently with out complaining for 2 hours. After that I told the lady that I was a walk in and I was there for about 2 hours. She said she was doing appointments in that moment because she was alone. I understood. She's alone and all appointments were booked and there were walk ins. I stood by the door waiting. I could hear laughter after every patient. Some took 5min some 10min. Frustrating. I kept getting skipped. There were 2 walk ins ahead of me on the screen however they weren't there. So I was next for a long time. The other girl finally arrives. She calls someone after about 10min of arriving. By the way the other one wasn't calling anyone anymore. It's been over 3 hours so when she comes out to call on appointments (by the way the people in waiting area haven't been there long) I told her that I'm a walk in and I've been waiting over 3 hours. She replies with yeah we're backed up I just got here but you can go online and schedule an appointment for tomorrow. With a smirk on her face. I said wow! And left. I can't believe she said that after I told her I've been there over 3hours. Unbelievable, I've never experienced this type of bad customer service at labcorp. She should have asked me for my name and said let me get these x amount of patients and you're next. But nope, her solution was to go back the following day. By the way I've never seen these 2. The others were always kind and tried to give the best customer service. You guys need to replace these 2. They have no business working there.
