    3/21/25 FYI. Lobby

Quality/Quantity - My annual physical blood work. New health benefits, new providers. Easy online appointments. Self service kiosk check in. Decent size lobby. In and out in 2 minutes! Time to reward myself, going to Wheatberry Baking Company; see other reviews. Atmosphere - Small location. Plenty of parking. Open 5 days a week, Mondays to Fridays from 6:30am to 3pm. Again, I think I was the first customer at 9am?!?! Service - Mostly self service. Again, online appointment, self service kiosk. Online results. Slight issue with the kiosk for me and the lady behind me. Nothing a restart could not solve. On time appointment. I was the first customer I guess. :) Daisy was very professional and knowledgeable. She even shared, due to their increase in business, they will probably get a second self service kiosk. Again, I was out of there in approximately 2 minutes. Walk-ins are welcomed, but I highly recommend making appointments. They had 10 appointments from 9am to 10am. If you do walk in , I suggest coming in the afternoon as it is a lesser demand due to fasting. Price - Insurance, will see if I get a bill in the mail, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1967 and your international presence. Great culture with your 5 C's - Customer First, Care, Collaboration, Continuous Improvement, and Curiosity,

Bruise about the size of a tennis ball. Bruise on left is the part that got hard and got swollen.

January 20th I had a blood draw at the McCarran location and this was the worst experience I have ever had on a blood draw. The technician stuck the needle in so hard it caused severe pain. She then put a gauze pad on to stop the bleeding and held it in place with a tape that was more like clear packing tape than the kind they usually put on that comes off gently. When I got home I removed the gauze pad and the tape was stuck on so tight that it was painful to remove. I then saw a huge bruise where she did the draw. Later in the day, the site started to swell up and got very hard. I tried to call the office to see if they thought I should go to Urgent Care to have it checked and there is no direct line to the office. This will be the last time I use Quest. Labcorp is far better than Quest. The site is still sore and swollen some 4 days since the draw

    Time for my yearly biometrics!

I so like the "easy button" in life and I've learned that appointments are necessary in this day and age since covid times where waiting goes hand in hand with anything you do nowadays. Made my appointment online and had to reschedule a couple of times due to 2023 inclement weather. But all is good, yesterday, I was in and out, first customer of the day. Not a patient in site at 6:40 AM and results were emailed to me this morning. How easy is that? Staff are professional and friendly. Insurance and HSA accepted. See you next year!

My first time at this lab. I had a TB test taken in Carson a few weeks ago, and unfortunately the specimen was sent to Tennessee .. And unfortunately, the test didn't make it in the 48 hour time frame.. It's all good... I booked my appointment online right after the mishap..showed up early.. and they called when they had a few minutes to get me in before my time. I'll be coming back to this lab anyway, as United Healthcare wasn't successful with negotiations with Renown.. Looking forward to getting the results by Friday!

I think that they have a lot of "floats" that bounce between locations, Michelle is not a float and stays at this location.

LabCorp takes appointments (I'm not too sure about QuestDiagnostics). I arrived at the facility shortly before my 9:45 appointment time, leaving enough time to check-in at the kiosk and with the receptionist. The waiting area was full of people; it was standing room only. But fifteen minutes later, the phlebotomist calls me in to the office, draws my blood and I'm on my merry way! Appointments rule! The staff were pretty friendly and they tried to be as accommodating as possible. I do have a critique about the seating arrangement; I don't know why all the chairs were bunched up in the middle of the room instead of spread out like it use to be but this new close-knit arrangement makes me a little claustrophobic; I didn't like sitting that close to a person who may or may not be sick. Sorry but I didn't care for it. Other than that, I'd opt to go to LabCorp over Quest Diagnostics just for the sheet convenience of not having to wait 2 hours for a 6-minute procedure.

Setting up appointments are a hit or miss, sometimes you'll get someone who is inhospitable or indifferent, other times you'll get the friendliest, most helpful person. It really is just crapshoot. BUT once you are at the center, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. During this recent visit, the young lady at the front reception room was very courteous and professional. The mammogram technician I encountered during this visit, Megan, was a consummate professional, she was very clinical and gave precise, easy instructions to follow. I've always had a positive experience at Reno Diagnostic Centers and I will more than likely continue using their services in the future.

Not good. After I…read morewent through so much time and trouble to even GET an appointment, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me while trying to get an appointment, Reno Diagnostic Centers violated Federal law regarding we Veterans when it directly billed me. To add further insult to injury to me, Reno Diagnostic Centers illegally directly billed me twice. When I call them, who answered won't even give me their name. The fact that Reno Diagnostic Centers FAILS to respond to negative Yelp reviews here screams to the public that they don't care one bit what the public thinks of it. Reno Diagnostic Centers violates Federal law regarding we Veterans and it's contracts with Tri-West. As a Veteran, ALL my health care coverage is with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA very rarely sends me outside the VA for my healthcare. VA does that through a third-party service known as Tri-West. VA and Tri-West have a contract. Reno Diagnostic Centers entered into contract with Tri-West to provide me healthcare. Per Federal law, I have NO contract with Tri-West or Reno Diagnostic Centers. Again, per Federal law regarding we Veterans, I the Veteran have NO contract with Reno Diagnostic Centers. Federal law PROHIBITS outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts from directly billing me or any Veteran or demanding any financial information of any sort from me, including but not limited to, Social Security number, or address, from Veterans. The only item outside VA healthcare providers such as Reno Diagnostic Centers who have Tri-West contracts can legally obtain from me, the Veteran is a copy of my, the Veterans VA healthcare id. Yet, Reno Diagnostic Centers routinely violates Federal law by directly billing me and other Veterans and illegally demanding financial information, including but not limited to, my the Veteran's Social Security numbers, my the Veteran's Medicare or Medicaid cards and my the Veteran's address, from not only me, but also other Veterans. When I called Reno Diagnostic Centers, what a LOT of work that was to get through, then no name given, and had a bunch of false information tossed at me, so I had to escalate to a supervisor. A supervisor, again no name to give, told me they know the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law but had no explanation for why they keep breaking the rules they had agreed to under their contract with Tri-West and Federal law. It was "oh, well to bad so sad nothing we can do" from them. Reno Diagnostic Centers word is no good, they are UNPROFESSIONAL and they screw-over me as a Veteran. Reno Diagnostic Centers is NOT a Veteran-friendly business AND clearly contributes to why so many Veterans succumb to suicide at almost three times the rate of non-Veterans. P.S. Don't message me because in spite of my several complaints to yelp, for years now I am unable to open up any messages in yelp to me :-(
