This is the WORST location ever! If I could give 2 zeros I would. There is only 1 tech working here and I have been here for 2 hours, I just need to pee in a cup. This rude tech took in a gentleman and then said he could go pee then go sit in the room while she finished the paper work. The poor girl after him has been waiting for over 2 hours and she was begging to pee and the tech made her WAIT behind the counter while she typed 1 finger all her info in...talk about not right and very rude. So here I still sit waiting.....They need to get more help in here. read more

Well don't take my word for it read the reviews. Quest Diagnostics at 6502 S McCarran Blvd. has the rudest, unprofessional, uncaring phlebotomist in the city. Michelle, if I could believe that's her name because no one wore a badge is the epitome of obstructionist. First of all, I was a walk in because when I tried to book an online appointment there were no appointments available for a week. I explained this to Michelle and she basically said that I was liar in front of other patients. She said take a seat i'll fit you in when I can might be 10minutes might be unable at all, mind you I was there at 0630, third person in line. The first 2 patients were done by 0645. The 2 phlebotomists disappeared in the back for the next 10 min. Finally Michelle, who was receptionist and phlebotomist came out and said let's see your paperwork. She took one look at the order and said " I don't see the Dr's address, I can't do anything with this" so I said let me go out to my car and get my phone, I'll get the address. When I returned and started reading her the address she said "never mind, I found it" I would have given her the benefit of the doubt that perhaps she was just having a bad day but my wife had a similar experience with this rude unprofessional just 3 weeks earlier. My wife booked an appointment but unfortunately forgot her paperwork at home. Michelle told my wife " what do you want me to do, I can't help you" My wife called her MD and they faxed the orders to the location. Simple courtesy would dictate that Michelle could have asked my wife to call the MD or simply make the call herself. I'm not sure what Quest plans for their endgame but if you read reviews it appears that corporate is not concerned with negative reviews read more

This is the absolute worst place. This is the second time I've had to come here. It literally scares me that the scary nurse ratchet is checking people in, barking orders from the back and then drawing blood? Yikes!!! I intend to let my insurance company know how terrible this is! read more

Had an appt for 10:30am but didn't get called up until 10:45am, at which time they looked at my paperwork and said it was out of date. This was the same paperwork I tried to show them when I first walked in. Very rude and unprofessional. They are slower than the DMV. So I had to leave after wasting all that morning. Later I called Quest to make a complaint and some guy in Kansas just yelled at me and then slammed the phone down. Find another place to get your lab work done. read more

I usually do not write reviews, if I have something to say I would do it right then and there or go directly to the company but today I have to give props where props belong. This lab in Reno has the most personable lab techs I have come across is a long time ! I was having some issues trying to make an appointment thru the phone system and was not near my computer to access it, I called Quest Customer Service and explained my dilemma and needed to be seen early per my Doctor so she put me through to the Lab on McCarran and I was shocked that Michelle actually answered the phone at 6:25 before they even opened and she was able to acquire an appointment for me at 7:00am, I was so grateful ! I arrived at 6:55am and was met by Maira, she was a delight and a breath of fresh air but to my dismay, the Lab was filled with a male voice coming from the back and the barrage of insults he was yelling at the Tech that was helping him was was horrible, I felt like walking out, I was embarrassed for both Techs and I don't understand why they should be put in that situation. The Tech in the room yelled out for Maira to come to the room and I heard no more yelling from the gentleman and they both appeared into the front behind him as he left. Anyway....KUDOS Ladies, you have a hard enough job, keep up those great attitudes. read more

I used to work for them and the first few months were fine and all and now it is a joke. Being told things I should have known when they first hired me. Management plays favorites. Supervisor doesn't know what she is doing. Absolutely no communication, accountability, training, trust, growth opportunities, mentorship, or teamwork. People come and go once they see the lack of leadership and the culture. Some employees should have been fired years ago. Pay is terrible and you would be payed more working elsewhere. Hourly staff are expendable and always an after thought, if considered at all, unless your someone's buddy. You are severely overworked, management has clear favorites, some coworkers are great while others make your day to day miserable. Work is monotonous, no space to grow. You can call out and not get in trouble. Supervisors gossip to other phlebotomist. Fake people that will stab your back or create lies about you. Even during my exit they promised so many things and failed to do that. read more

Came here at 3:30 on 1/9/17. I got right in with no appoitment and the phlebotomist who drew my blood was professional, clean, and friendly. She drew 7 tubes of blood on me and made me feel very comfortable the entire time and it barely even left a mark. She was awesome! read more

This facility is clean, and the staff is very friendly. The woman who drew my blood was the best that's EVER drawn blood from me! Not only that, she was super friendly! I don't go to any other facility. Make an appointment first! I've never had to wait long, even without an appointment but, it's SO much more convenient if they have you in the system first. It's very easy to make an appointment on line through their website. Please don't bring your whole family with you though! The waiting room isn't very big and there's a lot of elderly folks that come in and not very many seats. There is no reason for a whole family of 5 to 7 people sitting there for one person to get their labs done! Leave room for the elderly folks to sit down! Be polite! I gave my seat to an elderly lady because a whole family of SIX came in just for one person to have labs done! There's only about eight seats in the waiting room! Not ONE of the young people got up to offer this little lady a seat! Have some manners! Please think of others and if you need a companion, bring one person, not the whole family. Please! It breaks my heart when elderly folks have to stand and wait when young people don't even bother to get up and give them a seat. They're on walkers and canes! read more

I just left there and the tech was very unprofessional. This is my third encounter with her. I actually ended up leaving because she was so rude and I thought, no way am I going to let her draw my blood. Unfortunately she works Monday - Friday 8-5 so I am going to have to go someplace else. read more

I had no problems with my appointment. I was seen 10 minutes early. Was only poked once and had 5 vials drawn fast and painlessly. The phlebotomist Brittany was kind and professional. The bathroom was clean. Easy website for results. Thank you Quest. read more

This was my first time into a quest facility... I've always gone to LabCorp due to my insurance. When I walked in there was a lady at the desk who didn't even look up, no greeting or anything which I felt was rude. I stood there after signing in knowing they'd need my ID and insurance card, still without even a look she says "it's going to be a minute." I was the only one in the place. I simply said "umm, okay" and quietly sat down. The place was cold and felt so uncomfortable and unfriendly. The phlebotomist called me back and was okay as far as friendliness. It took her a while to get me as she was digging around but was successful without a second stick thankfully. I've attempted to use the patient portal without success logging in. I've called customer service on multiple occasions and have been placed on hold for over 30 minutes without anyone answering. Who has time to wait that long!?This last attempt o was on hold (land line) for 32minutes and 19 seconds before it randomly disconnected! I've never been so disappointed with a corporation. I don't care if it's not covered by insurance, I will be going back to LabCorp. read more

I have been coming here for 3 years now..After my kidney transplant..started out Twice a week for the first 6 months..then it was once a week for the next 6 Months..Now it's Once a Month For life...in those 3 years I think Iv only has a badd experience once or twice that's because I went on busy times and I didn't get my normal nurse Michelle She is all kinds of awesomeness and she knows what she's doing One Poke and Done! The other two times Iv has a nurse that just seemed grumpy and didn't want to be there and guess what? Took her three pokes to draw blood from me not cool lady not cool..the first rule of working..leave your personal drama and or business at home don't bring it to work..no one likes to be poked 3 time let alone once..so irritating and so was my arm! But Michelle is on top of her game and she's always smiling no matter what..over the years we became friends and just tell each other how our week weekend is or was what's going on in life in general it's nice to have that in tough times someone to talk to even if it's for 2-3 mins! So this place get 4 stars because of her...Hint Hint Quest! read more

Again, I have to say that it's odd when I see very negative reviews mixed in with good reviews. Either the staff has changed, or they took note of the negative reviews and changed their behavior...which is a good thing, because that's what reviews are there for, and that keeps people on their toes. My experience was excellent. I set up an appointment online, drove on over, was greeted by polite, friendly staff...and the nurse who drew my blood was very friendly, keeping me distracted from being stabbed by big needles, which I hate. I even remember the conversation because I was fucking starving after fasting for over 12 hours for a routine bloodwork thing, and she asked me where I was gonna eat lunch. I said I wanted chicken masala. That led to a conversation about her experience at Taste of India, and based on her raves about that place, I'm gonna hit it up and try it soon. I was out of there quickly and efficiently, and if I need bloodwork again, you can bet I'm gonna come here. read more
