Not a good start. I had a 9:30 am appointment and got here 9:15. Am. No one at the counter, so I sit and wait. Finally after 10 minutes, someone came out to call a patient. I jump to the counter and ask if I could check in. She pointed to a little screen on the far side of room. Then walked away. There is no sign or any indication that I had to check in electronically. When I arrived, there were 6 people in the waiting room. Now 25 min later, there were 5 people. More people came in at 9:45 am. I can see why they have a low star rating. Not about customer service here. Aetna requirements to lower insurance is to have a Wellness check and Aetna made the appointment for me. They Definitely should not use this office again. Now 9 people in waiting room. Only one guy called back and he left already. I was called back before quite a few of the other people waiting. Probably because I had an appointment as they do take walk-ins. After I was called back, I saw they were only two workers. One of the girls said she was going on break, and left the office. Teresa was the phlebotomists and it did take her quite a while to enter in all my information. But was originally a one star review, got bumped up because she was very good at her job. I understand that there Was no time for pleasantries. She said Fridays they are usually really busy. But she was pleasant enough as well as. I give Teresa five stars. I didn't even feel that needle she inserted to take five blood test tubes. For the wellness check she had to get my blood pressure, waist measurements etc. once all of my information was put in, she was very efficient. Definitely a professional. As for the post Covid work shortage, maybe that has hit this place, however, i'm sure they could handle more office work. I don't know, it just seems that the faster they get people through, the more people they can have, the more money etc.... Anyway. Hopefully I don't have to come back here. read more

This location is awful. I missed my appt by 5 minutes, partly because I couldn't find it. The sign near the entrance of the building is collapsed and you can't see the suite number. So I had to walk up and down the halls of the first, second, and finally third floor before finding it. There is no one working at the desk. There's a tablet in the corner, which I didn't see at first. By the time I checked in, I was late. I added my name as a stand by. The only chance you have to talk to a live person is when the phlebotomists come out to call the next person, and they make it obvious they're not interested in helping. After 45 minutes, I left...with no blood draw. Quest, do better!! read more

So the moment I come in I go straight to kiosk I look around and there's absolutely nobody in the waiting room or even at the desk. I had previously went online to try and register for a time but it said urine analysis are welcome to walk-in between 9 AM and 1 PM. It was obvious from the moment I entered there that they had a problem. So I signed in on the kiosk, for my urine analysis a lady from another room comes and says what are you doing I said I'm here for a walk in for a drug test. She said we don't have time to test you you should've made your appointment online. I said I can't register for an appointment on any of your websites and I can't talk to anyone either. She said you can sign in but we're not going to take you. She said I'm about to go on lunch and I don't have time to do this. It was only 11:30 in the morning. So when I check-in on the kiosk it says I have only a five minute wait. So I sit down in the very empty room where there's no one except the employees arguing in the back because I decided I would come in for a walk-in appointment. Next thing you know I hear them arguing it's not my job, it's not my job to take walk-ins as I can hear them in the back there's four of them and only one of me. Next thing I know my recruiter is calling me because I had previously called him to let him know there was no appointments for a drug screening. So next thing I know my recruiter is calling me and he says are you in a place you can step out and talk I said I'm actually at quest diagnostics and that's actually the employees screaming at each other how they're not going to help me. He said I can barely hear you, I said because they're in the back screaming at one another why did you allow her to check-in I told you I'm not going to do any of the drug screenings. You're the one that allowed her to check in so you're the one that has to do the job it's not my responsibility. It was so beyond uncomfortable and unprofessional on so many different levels. My boyfriend just went to quest diagnostic, which I have gone plenty of times in the past with just providing information of who my insurance is through and I've never had an issue with that. She was so rude to him upfront and decline his visit. We also drove over 1 hour away, but you get a busy signal whenever you call... This was unfortunately the closest quest to us... It is time sensitive to get the blood work done, and they are impeding on that despite us having all the information the doctors who are requesting the bloodwork. Not to mention she was dismissive and rude... I'm not sure what happen with customer service along the line, but this is not the way to be. She didn't even make eye contact with him and he stood there for a moment. When she did look up, she said, "what, can I help you?" I know that that is not how people should be acting at a place that they work at. I provide plenty of customer service, and I have in my life and I have never treated a customer like this even when they were wrong, but again we did nothing but get dismissed, despite having an appointment, and all the information to provide, but the plastic card read more

I was a little hesitant to come to this one after reading reviews about this place, but it wasn't horrible. The lady who helped me seemed irritated at first, but we started talking a little bit and she seemed okay, still slightly annoyed, but it seemed more directed at the job itself rather than me. I usually have a hard time getting blood drawn since my veins are super deep, but she did it pretty good. There was blood on the floor, which was pretty gross (so I would try going anywhere else if you're super picky, or worried, about everything needing to be insanely clean) but everything else looked professional was in a sterile plastic. I gave it 3 stars because the blood on the ground was pretty off putting, but the lady who helped me was sweet enough to make it bump up a star. read more

We arrived at 9:00 with no appointment. There were 7 people before us and we got in at 9:22. The waiting area was clean, open and simple. Parking easy. No receptionist but sign in was easy and swift. Bring your paperwork filled in with you and you should have no issues. Service was polite. I don't know why the reviews are sketchy. Really happy with my experience! Only waited about 25 minutes to get seen, and the blood draw was quick, easy, and painless. I appreciated how well they took care of me once I informed them I get scared by needles. BTW you have to try out the organs blossom hot honey latte from star village coffee, only block away. I came here for a drug screening for a pharmacy tech job, due to being a student and other locations of lab corp closing early when not specified online I arrived at 3 pm. A lady with long brown hair and green eyeshadow proceeded to make fun of me, to me and in earshot to coworkers for crying durning a panic attack because it had to be done within 48h and i couldn't get there before 2pm. She also lied saying the courier had already showed up for the day. A much nicer lady offered to help by calling to make sure I could still do it, and the courier showed up AFTER I had already given my sample. I've never been so shocked by a healthcare workers unprofessional attitude and condescending tone to someone who is shaking and crying. Being told "You can do it, but not me. Those fake tears don't work on me" is absolutely uncalled for and they should not being working with patients. read more

Never met more disrespectful, unprofessional and ignorant staff before. Both times i went in they were horrible. I had to take a pre employment drug screening through them and they were having troubles with their systems with my new employers. I needed to go back in for a paper to verify I was there since my employer could not see it on their end. The girls up front were not willing to help me get what I needed. They told me on the phone and online when I made an appointment that they accepted my insurance. I entered it on the computer when I made my appointment and it accepted it- I get there on the day of my appointment and they tell me they don't take my insurance. I checked in the tablet it told me I had a 20 minute wait, I could wait in the car and i would receive a text. I got a text almost immediately, but didn't notice it until about 5 minutes after. When I returned I approached the desk and i was told by Amanda that I was late, that she had texted me and called my name and now I would have to wait all in a super rude tone. Made an appointment for 3:00. Got there at 2:20. Tech greeted me, said oh you're really early and went to the back. I called to her and asked if she could take me early. She said no, I have 2 at 2:30 and 2 at 2:45 and I have to get them on time. There was no one else waiting. In the time she argued with me, she could have drawn the one tube. Weeks ago made an appointment for the mccarran location , arrived and was told that my appointment wasn't in the system. Finally make my way to mill street arrive on time and there's a sign on the door that they are closed for the day. There was no text no call no nothing to inform me they weren't going to be open. I have been coming to this lab for years. The supervisor Debbie and the Phlebotomist Teresa are terrific. My labs required me to fast. I was up at 6 and left early for bus 11 because I like to arrive at places early. My husband and I sat at our bus stop for over an hour. My appointment at Quest is at 930 which was when the bus finally arrived. I am trying to contact Quest to let them knowwhat happened. Gave up and hoped for the best. The stop is at Sutro which means we will have to walk 2 and a half blocks to Quest. I had a sleepless night waking up at 1 AM. I also have a bad right heel. I am starting to feel shaky and sweaty from notceating. We finally arrive at Quest. Because of Covid regulations my husband waits in a chair down the hall. I check in. It is 10 AM. The check in computer saysvyou are over 10 minutes late so now I am considered a walk in. A tech comes out. There is only one person waiting. I explain about the bus. I am feeling poirly, Hypoglycemic from not eating and my mouth is dry. I say can I please keep my appointment. The tech says no and turns to walk away. I say wait I have another question. She looks immediately annoyed. I say if I am going to wait an hour I want to make sure my lab slip is here. She says it's Mary with an M right? I say yes then give her my last name. She says haughtily, I don't need your last name. And your lab slip is not here. I say I am not being an asshole. She says oh, then that must mean that I am the Asshole!!! My mouth drops open as she stomps down the hall. I liudly say OH MY GOD and leave. I am shaking mad. This gal is NUTS. I grab my husband feeling I need a witness and a protector. I go back. I see Teresa the friendly phlebotomist. I just wanted to ask the girls name. I am 54. I pull down my mask and say Teresa, remember me... I Yelped you? All of a sudden Lunatic girl comes stomping up to the counter. There are 5 people waiting now. She is screeching at me in front of them and my husband. She yells go ahead and Yelp me and gives me her name. She yells you called me an Asshole. ( I Didn't). She says oh, and I found your lab slip but I am not going to help you now. She loud and out of control. I say can you calm down. She is on a roll. I am upset saying I did not call you that, I said I was not being an asshole. I realize she is not going to help me. I have waisted over 2 hours of my life and am starting to feel faint. I have almost 3 blocks to walk back to the bus stop all for nothing. I am mad now. I grab my husband's arm yelling F.U. and storm out totally Shocked and Shaken. I go oytside and call the 800 customer service line. The woman literally telks me to go to a different Quest at 245. I say I am fasting and do not have a car. I say I want an apology and I want my labs done now. She says I can't help you and I hear the customer survey recording play. I hang up. I am crying. Clearly the clerk at Quest was not having a goid day and my husband and I held hands and said a Prayer for her. Quest who was once my first choice will now be NO choice at all. read more

My review is in regards to the customer care that is given at this location, but front desk staff (older woman, gray/blonde hair). This is not regarding the ability to draw blood. She was completely disrespectful of my privacy. After she loudly stated something that embarassed me - I asked her to please keep her voice down. Then she loudly repeated what I just asked her to keep quiet stating she "did not release PHI (protected health information)". While technically, no, she did not...she should have respected my request for her to keep my information confidential. I was visibly upset, and let her know. When my boyfriend came in to request her name and supervisor - she was already on the phone with them - telling them about the situation very flippantly and giggling. Then didn't give my boyfriend enough information to reach anyone (just the generic QUEST phone number). We finally go the information to contact her supervisor, who was very accomodating. Employees very rude. It was my first time doing an urine drug test so I didn't know what to do and they were rude. I used the whole 5 minutes to try to pee because I didn't fill it up enough but then my pee wasn't warm enough so I had to wait to pee again. While I was peeing, I yelled out "sorry it's taking so long I'm pee shy" and i overheard the employee telling her other employee how she's hates when people talk to her while peeing. Came off really bitchy and like she was a high schooler gossiping. No one comes to the desk to help you also, like where do the employees go? It's your job to help people who come!! read more

After some missteps at other labs I came here today. I was third in line from opening, one woman to handle everything. This woman is of Asian decent, I did not get her name. As I said she was on her own and had eight folks waiting from the get go and she did an excellent job of handling each person in a calm and friendly manor with great efficiency to get us on our way as quickly as possible. Very well done. She also found my source of blood much more quickly then most do and proceeded with no pain to me. read more

The wait at this place is ridiculous. In typical (at least in my experience) Quest form, there is one phlebotomist working at any given time. Take my advice and instead of the Mill Street location go to the Elm Street location (adjacent to St. Mary's Hospital). read more

What a nightmare this has become! Its been over 2 weeks and no results! They are ALWAYS RUDE at these places ,but ive never had them just lose the info,on purpose! Throw it away because of a rotten attitude! They want you to be on the schedule, and do anything to screw you over without it! If I could do zero stars I would. It's not the building it's the staff! Terrible bedside manner, they will not look or speak to you! I sat for 45 minutes jumping up and down at every sound just to try to catch someone to ask a question. And not surprising when they finally acknowledge I exist their rude!!! Quest manage your staff because the only conversation taking place amongst the 30 people I saw come and go before I gave up and left was about how terrible your staff is. I am disgusted with the complete lack of care or consideration from the staff, I sat for 50 mins in the waiting room, the ONLY person there, and I couldn't even be aknowledged . Then am told how busy they are and need an appointment when I have been a walk in for years. Again, 2 nurses there , no patients, you can hear a pin drop in the place and they didn't have enough courtesy to tell me to leave. They just let me sit and waste an entire hour before I finally walked out. The lady working seemed angry with life and should get a job at jack in the box drive thru or do something that makes her happy, as she could have cared less about any type of service I may need. She only BARKED that I needed a mask when I entered. I would rather bleed myself at home then go to such a poor excuse of a lab for the public. I always come to this lab for my rheumatology labs and even though I had an appointment . I had waited for over an hour with my mom in the hot car outside. Then instead of doing her job the lab tech asked me to get my Dr. To fax over the order that she had already sent over. My doctors office wanted to talk to Teresa, to give her the order she had from my chart. But Teresa refused to talk to my Dr office. After 2 1/2 hours and three venipunctures I was hungry and dehydrated. I just think I could have had better customer service. I hope for a better experience next time. Lynette wolf read more

I was first in line on your check-in board. Because I was not sitting in a chair, (but instead standing next to one), I was chastised and commanded to take a seat (even thou I explained my back was sore and preferred to stand) and the unnamed female took the person second in line. I took a seat in spite of my discomfort. When Suzanne came out, the first thing out of her mouth was a challenging question/comment about "my attitude" To her credit when I explained to her face to face, she apologized and commented on the importance of social distancing (which I had been doing) as more important than whether or not I was seated. I heard neither person in this office "initially" greet anyone or introduce themselves. Finally, Suzanne introduced herself just before the needle stick. I had a similar experience last time at this same office with different staff, same theme ... lacking basic manners and office decorum. Apparently, more interested in "Health Environment Policing" and not "Health Service and Health Care." Unfortunately, this is the only Lab my insurance covers. read more
