I came in at 7:20am for my 8:15am appointment. Leslie, the site lead, called me in but was unable to locate my lab order on her computer and fax machine. I contacted my doctor, who called and spoke to her directly and also had resend in the lab order for the second time, yet, Leslie couldn't find it in her system. My doctor asked if he could give her a verbal order now, to proceed- she said "no"; my doctor again asked if he could email the order to her as he had put in two orders electronically but I didn't seem to go thru to Quest system yet it shows that it was received on my doctor's end -she again said "no, she can't give her email to receive the order." A second after my doctor got off the phone with her, Leslie literally opened her email inbox right in front of me; yet, she told my doctor that she couldn't give her email address to receive the order. Leslie should not be the site lead at the office as she is the face of Quest and provided the worse customer service ever. I've been going to this location for my blood tests all these years and other staff had provided me with their email address to send them the order, etc before. She's either racist or not liking her public duty as a Phlebotomist. People made plans for their annual/quarterly checkups. She should at least be a bit understanding and flexible as she was talking to the doctor himself directly. Quest should reevaluate Leslie's position before she causes additional headaches and frustrations to future patients. I wouldn't even give it a one star because this deserves a negative/zero but I have to in order to post this review. read more

They are terrible the service sucks.. The phone system stinks... I will never go there again... I will be talking to the doctors also at how terrible the service is ... they hung up on me god forbid I used a bad word like they never heard it before then wouldn't answer the phone.. Located in a Medical Center near CHOC and St Joseph's Hospital. There is a parking structure there that you can park in but the validation is only for 30 minutes but the parking attendant booth at the foot of the parking structure in which whom you have to present the validation to or pay is lenient up to 10 minutes or so of course to their discretion. Came here to get a drug test done for a new job as this was the closest Quest Diagnostics in the area. I called to make an appointment and got a slot early afternoon so I can work and then go there to get it done. Come to find out that the drug test that I needed was only done at a specific time and day of the week in which took some more of my time. It would have been nice to know that specific tests were can't be done at all times of the day when they are open which would have saved me time and going back there again. As far as the procedure is concerned, of course even though you have an appointment for a certain time, it always runs later. Process was simple and to the point and I was in and out of there. read more

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I had my first time experience here and everything went well! I didn't have an appt and they still managed to be able to see me. There was a wait because there was a lot of people, but again it's expected since I didn't have an appt. Front office staff was great! The phlebotomists in the back were great too! Overall I think this facility is absolutely doing a good job!! All of the front and back staff are great! I really appreciated the service I got from start to end! A gentleman had done my blood draw and he did a good job! read more

Don't come to this one. Some other Quest have free parking. This one charges $5- per car with $1- off for validation. Last week I went to another one in Orange and it was free parking. I had my daughter in her car and me in mine to go here and it cost me $8- for two cars. I really wished I knew they charged parking. It should be on every sheet when doctors send you to Quest. Lesson learned for me. The people were nice tho. read more

This place has the WORST customer service I ever experienced. I get that it is busy, but if you were organized it would run smoothly. All the ladies have an attitude feels like your at the DMV. Getting hired here must be super easy, job qualifications would be RUDE, unorganized, don't care attitude and bad with people. They should change there name to Bitchy Diagnostics. read more

Preparation: Fasted for twelve hours, recalled "The Trial" by Franz Kafka, Dante's "Inferno", and "The Myth of Sisyphus". The fasting was doctor's orders (prior to my blood draw). The literary recall was by way of mental preparation for the experience to come - I've visited Quest before, but this was my worst experience to date: I walked in the door at 2:15pm. The waiting room was empty; there were four staffers and five workstations behind the counter. Despite this, it took Gertrude (that's what it said on her name badge) twenty-five minutes before she was even willing to glare at me and demand my insurance card and the "short form" they asked me to fill out when I got there. She then barked: "Go sit down and wait!" By this point, four other people had walked in. They all signed in, and sat down with the "short form". Fifteen more minutes go by - no patients have moved from the waiting room into the lab, but now there are seven people waiting after me. Gertrude bellows at me across the room, demanding to know how to spell the street I live on. I walked over to tell her, and she barked, "Go back to the waiting area!" fifteen more minutes go by, Gertrude calls out again to confirm my phone number - we do the same dance, and again I'm barked at to go back, sit down, and wait. There are now eleven other people in the waiting area. We went through this whole weary dance several more times, and I was finally escorted into the lab to draw blood at 4:00pm. By 4:05pm, I was free!! As I walked out, I saw that there were now thirteen people waiting. Despite all those bored looking staffers, and all the unused equipment, no one else was called to the desk for processing the entire time I was there! So these "organizationally challenged" idiots managed to take a five minute procedure, and use it to steal almost two hours from my life. No preparation, literary or otherwise, is adequate to deal with the rudeness and incompetence I encountered at Quest Diagnostics. This will be my last visit to this location - avoid this place like the plague! read more

It was the end of the day, my first time here, yet, the staff was still very friendly and informative. They are fast, efficient, and clean. I will definitely use this facility, again. Would recommend this location to family and friends. read more

Extremely rude secretary. We had a different order for a different doctor than the typical standing order. Secretary didn't even look at it, just told me to sit down and deal with it. They're extremely understaffed, wait time even with an appointment is horrendous, very little seating, not a very nice office. Wouldn't recommend coming to this one, parking is also a rip off at $5 for less than an hour and the structure is usually totally full. If I could leave negative stars I would! read more

Only 2 of us in waiting room. Workers lackadaisical and moving slowly. 25 minutes later, still here. Holy crap, they're slow! Aaaaack!!

This is one of the best Quest facilities and location here at St. Joseph Cancer Center. Leslie & Kristen were OUTSTANDING. The reason many maybe unhappy, is the AM FASTING. No food or coffee can be a very unhappy "moment" for us all. And most of us aren't feeling well to start with. But with that being said, I did visit this facility after 2:00 PM. Outstanding service. THANKS AGAIN, LESLIE & KRISTEN read more

1 star is still more than this location deserves! Hardly ever anyone at the front desk, and the back office staff just walks by and ignores anyone at the front desk. I have made appointments every time, & it NEVER helps the wait time. The appointment is either lost, dropped, or somehow invalid(?). Don't know why they even offer them... back office staff is nice enough once you make it back there. FYI- The only reason I keep coming here is because their office is in my building. I will not schedule here again! read more

Got in and out really quick. The technician was good and the blood draw was easy. Clean lobby and nice building.

Avoid like the plague. Unfortunately for me, my insurance requires all of my labs to be through Quest. I've had to go twice in a year, the first time I literally waited over 2 hrs (as a walk-in) and the second time I waited 1.5 hrs (with an appointment!!!). Both times I was told would take 20-30 min. I really hate it when people do this. If you're going to be 2 hours, let me know so o can decide whether I have the time to wait or I need to reschedule and come another time. And of course the cherry on top is the rudest receptionists I have ever come across (Lafonda T - find another job you might actually enjoy, then you might not be such a biatch), . If your operations suck because of massive layoffs, at least try to hire nice people to service your customers, people might not leave on such a bad mood. This whole company is a freakin joke. Classic DMV experience. Yes... You guys are as awful as a municipality. read more

In general, I have been very happy with quest. Able to make an appointment and get right in.

They say 15 minutes and 40 minutes later here I sit. They do not enforce the no phone rules so it's super loud and annoying. They do a lot of drug testing here and they all seemed to jump ahead. Maybe they had appt read more

I had surgery scheduled for this coming Friday, so I was asked to get my pre op work done today. I've been sitting in the waiting room with about 30 other people for over an hour and 30 mins just to get blood drawn. Employees walk in with appts and get seen immediately. The rest of us sit, and sit, and....still sitting. I would not recommend using this location if you don't have all day...or at least 2+ hours. read more

If you want to feel like you're receiving healthcare in a third world county like Cuba, then this is the place for you. The lines are long, its extremely inefficient, and people fight for their place in line. I thought capitalism was suppose to create efficiency? I guess this is what happens when Quest Diagnostics pretty much runs a monopoly operation in OC. read more

They don't even use disposable tourniquet. What a shame and also the front desk latina Girl is so rude. She is just there to show her annoying face. Without smile even greet. So racist, she is just good with latinos. Don't go here this is a mess, they even poke you so Painful! read more

Wait is long, even with an appointment. You have to pay for parking and they only validate for $1 off. The staff is rude. Avoid this location. read more

The best Quest Lab I have been to! I had appointments for my two sons this morning and the place was packed! The appointment service works very well and they were seen quickly. The techs have a sense of humor and do a great job - no pain (according to the boys). My older one passes out usually and he remained upright, so that shows that they are excellent at their job. Even though they were busy and the parking structure was busy, we still were out quickly. Only recommendation I would have for this company is to put posters or pictures on the wall! We, as the patients, need the distractions! read more

Always on time, long wait times if you don't schedule, overall friendly staff and nice helping people. When you walk-in you are already nervous that you will be picked but friendly vibe at this place helps. read more

Really clean and modern waiting room. I was thirsty and wish they had water like most medical establishments. I had an appointment and the wait was about 15 minutes and it was busy in there. Heads up this location you have to pay for parking. I was very impressed with the phlebotomist who was efficient in getting my name right and I felt no pain at all. I'm going to try another one next time based on parking but this was a good experience. read more

Again had a great experience with QD - Patricia & Edgar are fantastic (blood draw was smooth and just felt a pin prick)! Keep up the great work! read more

Quest Diagnostics shows no respect for patient's time. Most of their OC locations are closed on Saturday when patients are free and need to visit. Go to the open one on La Vita and it looks like this - waiting room was standing room only and people asleep in the hallway outside. Clearly Quest is more concerned with keeping costs down than with service. read more

Really bad service!!! This is my second time here and i sogned in and asked the woman at the front desk how long was the wait she said 20 minutes, i stepped out to get some chips on the first floor and when i got back she told me "i thought you had left, " bad customer service assuming without been thoughtful. Now she had someone else go before me that had come after me. Shes a liar because i also asked her i hope i didnt loose my spot and she said no" no ethics whatsoever. Horrible not coming back here again. read more

I made an appointment online for 10:30 am on a Wednesday and there was only one other person in the waiting room. I did not have to wait at all. The place was clean and the staff there were great. I forgot both my order form and my wallet and they were so nice about it. They were able to find the order on the computer and said they would mail me the bill. It was my daughter who is 2 years old that needed her blood drawn and they were very sweet with her. The phlebotomist (Van) found her vein on the first try and there was no bruising. I highly recommend getting EMLA cream (numbing cream) from your doctor to put on the skin 1 hour prior to the lab draw for children. My daughter didn't even flinch when they poked her. They validate for parking so don't forget your ticket. read more

Quick in and out experience to pick up a collection container. Staff was courteous and worked with me to figure out what I needed in a timely fashion (despite my doctor's terrible handwriting). Wait for labs seemed like it might not be such an easy task...there were at least 20 people in the waiting room...but I would definitely come back to this lab in the future! read more
