Patient must have done something wrong?! WHAT?! We have ALWAYS gone to Quest, was turned away and told to go downstairs to LabCorp (which was closed) Called Health insurance -- they confirmed yes Quest, they tried to call location and no one answered (they said this is also typical) Called Doctor office - they confirmed yes Quest, labs sent. Health insurance opened grievance, seems this location is under investigation for bad practices. When they get busy and don't want to look up paperwork they just lie to patients, turn them away, and waste their time. I reviewed my account online and found that BOTH of my children had their birthday altered by 1 day. HOW ODD. This data discrepancy would definitely cause a mismatch in systems preventing correct records from being pulled. I hadn't touched my account in over a year and the last appointment was flawless --so what happened between June 2025 and now? Tried calling the Menifee Quest location this morning to report data discrepancy and verify if 2nd paperwork attempt was successful, no answer, when you select the menu option for "more help" it tells you to go to their website and HANGS UP. Today, 12/5/2025. My fiancé' had an appointment and was 10 mins late. Yeah sure being late is not good. Be on time. What if she had to come in and use the restroom? Only about five mins. You are telling me you couldn't see her after only 5 mins? She works as a teacher and it's hard enough to get appointments. But 10 minutes is not that long and I know for a fact there have been people that have been later if not the same. Save yourself some grief & time and visit Labcorp on the first floor. Making an "appointment" is near impossible. Even with an appointment and arriving early, you won't be seen not even before ALL the walk ins because, you have an appointment. Even after being there more than 1 hour 40 minutes before my appointment time... I still was not seen on time, go figure. The waiting area is a cold room with kiosks. Filled with confused patients. I watched tons of people trickle in, many elderly who had no clue how to use the kiosks with no one available to help. Many who didn't speak English asking others in the waiting area to help because everyone behind the glass door is too busy. Half of the staff seemed bothered that people needed help. I am and have been in healthcare for more than half my life and this place is a disgrace. I definitely will not be sending any more patients here and understand why they get upset when sent in to Quest. 100000000% do not recommend. read more

Horrible! I checked-in at 10am. At 2:45 I still had a way to go based on the screen- so I let them know I was running across the street to grab something to eat. No longer than 20-30min. Mind you I had already been waiting 5 HOURS! I went from #7 on the walk-in list to #4 in those 5 hours. Somehow, during those 30 minutes, I was called. They apparently called me and removed me from the list and told me I needed to CHECK IN AGAIN & START OVER I told her I had spoke to someone letting them know I hadn't eaten all day & would be back in 20-30 min... she shrugged & said "we're not to busy anymore it shouldn't be as long as last time." Terrible location. Booked my apt for 3 for my glucose test knowing they closed at 4:30 because it takes an hour to test. They didn't call me back until 3:30 which would still leave me an hour to do the test but told me when I was in there they couldn't take me because it takes an hour. I have taken my mom to this location 3 times in the past 2 months. This location is horrible. There is always a filled lobby - no available seats. The hallway is filled with the overflow of waiting patients, and the phlebotomists are extremely rude. This last visit really did it for me. My mom had an appointment and we arrived 10 minutes early and checked in via phone. When we got there, after waiting for 15 min. We were told they were running 50 minutes behind. When my mom was finally called, the phlebotomist named Arianna, proceeded to rudely hold a conversation with a patient for at least 3 minutes while my mom just stood there (my mom is going through chemo and has no balance). Arianna was rude from the start. I have yet to meet a worker there that has a decent bedside manner. They are definitely in the wrong field to be working in. No one smiles - they must all be miserable. There are so many patients who look fragile, yet are treated so poorly. In the middle of assisting my mom, she asked my mom in a condescending voice, how long she had waited. My mom told her, then she said "if your order says "STAT" on the form - you don't have to wait and gave us a look like - you dumb asses. So for anyone reading this - make sure to look for the words "STAT" so you can go right in without waiting. No one tells you that information when you are waiting. When she asked my mom if she was fasting my mom answered that she wasn't and that no one told her to. When I asked her if she was supposed to fast, she rudely answered that it was a general question. Lol. Like, smile people. Show some empathy or bedside manner. Fortunately I drive in from Orange (Orange County) and will be taking my mom to a Quest Lab near me for the next few appointments. I'm curious to see how the customer/patient service is near my home. A smile and understanding goes a long way to help make patients feel comfortable and relaxed. I love how Check in was extremely easy and not like a usual doctor's office where there's a receptionist. I got called within minutes of arrival. My examiner Jeanette made the whole experience so stress free. I usually get anxious at any kind of doctor office and she made me feel so relaxed and was so sweet. Because you don't want to be part of the 26 customers/patients who were Waiting for Godot as "Walk-Ins" after me. I setup the Appt online, received a Text asking me my COVID situation/questions and then another, when I had Arrived. This is all incredibly easy. I was In/Out within fifteen minute. Place is always clean and the staff here is very efficient and friendly.I have been using this location for blood tests for years. I always use the Quest App to schedule my appointments. I wanted to drop off my son's specimen bc I was told I can go to any Quest Diagnostics to drop it off once I collected it. I go to this one and check theat the kiosk to drop it off and I waited 10 minutes with no one in the room. People started coming in to check in and after 5 people, one young chick with glasses and hair up opened the door and I told her I am only here to drop it off and she told me I have to wait on standby anyways and then went to take the other person in. I am so frustrated. It's not like I was doing any blood work or anything, just a damn drop off. This place is ridiculous. I would rate this place negative if I could read more

I normally go to Labcorp to get lab work done but my PCP told me my insurance takes both so I decided to try this place out. She gave me my paperwork yesterday and I walked in today after fasting for over 12 hours. Pleasant experience as I walked in and only one other person was waiting in the lobby. Check in at the kiosk because no one is sitting behind the desk. It's fast and easy, then you can choose to wait in your car or in the waiting room. I chose to wait inside. My name was called in about 2 minutes. Nice! I go in and the phlebotomist took about 5 minutes to input my info manually into the computer. After that, she went to work. Stuck me and got I believe 7 vials of blood. I also left a urine sample which I was afraid I wouldn't have enough of. I went before I got there, but thankfully I came through with just enough, lol! I asked if they had any water to help me go, but they had to remove it from the facility because you know, COVID!! Within minutes I was done. The facility is clean, the process was fast and the phlebotomist didn't have to stick me more than once. That's a definite win in my book! I was in and out in about 20 min total. As I was leaving, there were more people coming in. Glad I got there before the pile up! Overall a great experience and I may come here from now on, as Labcorp usually has a few people waiting all the time. I recommend it! read more

I scheduled an early AM glucose tolerance test that required me to fast for 8 hours prior. When I arrived, the tech asked if I ate already, and I said that I'd been fasting for the test. She told me to go eat a meal and to return in 2 hours to have my blood drawn. I did just that. Several weeks later, I get a call from my doctor indicating that I was given the wrong instructions and that I was not supposed to eat prior to the blood draw. My test results are now incorrect because the technician gave me the wrong instructions by telling me to go eat. Now, I need to take more time off work and get a second blood draw, which would have been unnecessary had the technician been more competent. The amount of incompetence is so frustrating and it makes me wonder what other errors this Lab is making! read more

I had an appointment and I got a text to a link to check in but they said I should didn't have proof of the appointment. 8/15/24 today I came for lab work(made an appt). The tech started to take my information, and I explained I wanted to add a test. I explained that I would pay cash. she told me that I would have to go back to waiting area & register for it on computer. I said no problem. She told me I only had 10 min to accomplish this, otherwise I would have to register as a walk-in pt. There was NO staff in the waiting room to help with this process. I tried to register on my computer, but the app was confusing & there wasn't a place to order the lab work. the teck(Wendy) came back 17 min later and told me that the time was up and I needed to register as a walk-in! I did so @ 10:30am and the new time for blood draw was 1:50pm!!! Worst experience ever. They need to open more locations in this area. The check in process was messy. They should keep the kiosks but have a person there for back up. I read my appt time wrong so I was 20 min late, my fault. I had been fasting and I travel for work so I had to wait. That led to a 2 hour wait time. I told the 1st nurse that I had small rolling veins and where to prick me. She did not listen and kept blaming hydration. She put a heating pad on my hand. I told her I would have brought my water in if I would have known that I was going to wait two hours. I did not want to go out and get it as I may have missed my name being called. The second nurse came in and I told her where to prick me. She did not listen either and both of them were in the wrong area. They kept blaming me. Finally, a third nurse came in, and I gave her the same spiel on where to prick me and where the veins are, she was able to make it happen. Kudos to Karen at this location. When the second assistant Vanessa came to the door and called a patient. I asked her the same thing even pointing out that my name has been number one on the queue for what was now 30 minutes. She said she would check on it and proceeded to go inside when the third nurse came to the door and I'm so mad I did not get her name. She was extremely nice and helpful. short bleached hair and dark skin complexion. I proceeded to tell her the same thing even pointing out that my name again was on the screen. She immediately said oh no, and no one's called you Vanessa standing there helping yet another patient sign in then said oh I called her earlier before her time and placed her on pause. Can you go unpause her and put her back in the queue, I looked at Vanessa very puzzled because she didn't say that when I asked her all along knowing she was the problem. Another nurse finally came and called me back. Meanwhile, the very helpful nurse did come back and apologize and said she immediately unpause me and put me in a queue and was glad I was called up. Vanessa standing there and never apologize or saying anything. Soon after while, getting my blood drawn by the station by the door, another lady had the same issues and said her name had been on the top of the list for a very long time low and behold, it was again Vanessa. Everything is done on a computer and/or phone. When you walk in it's a tablet you sing in on. No one to ask if there is a problem. Every time I go here I see people struggling to put all their information in, photo in, insurance etc... I could not imagine if my mother had to do all that.
