I was camping in Moab for a couple days & only shelled out for restaurant food once. I'm beyond grateful that this is where I chose to feed myself. Quesadilla Mobilla is waaay more affordable than the other restaurants on Main Street ($17 for 2 quesadillas & 2 waters), comes very highly recommended by the locals & tourists alike (as we walked by the food truck the first time people were raving about it to us unprompted), & in general just has an amazing vibe (table sharing is encouraged, everyone seems to be giddy about their adventures, & the employees are incredibly friendly). The food was spectacular & was a bit more than I could eat even after a tiring hike. It's right off of the main strip & you can't miss it, there will be throngs of people in front of it scoping out the menu. Don't let that scare you off though, the service is really fast & well worth the wait. read more

I was not expecting this in Moab. Very good quesadillas, no matter which you get. If you stopped by Moab from out-of-town, this is THE place to hit up. The quesadillas are on the "juicier" side, with tons of flavor loaded into them. The outside still has a good crisp, so there's a lot of texture to the food. Sauces are a must to go with, so try them out. No specific recommendations: I would recommend trying any of them. If you're straining for a specific quesadilla, go with the first one on the list: Enchanted Chicken. Portion sizes large; be sure to share. Service is great, the people operating the food truck were very friendly. Seating is outdoor (under some trees) next to the food truck. If you don't do anything else in the state of Utah (other than see rocks of course), you MUST get a quesadilla. We had the Enchanted Chicken, Fiery Fungus (the best one, even without the mushrooms), and the Cubano's Cousin. Whoever made the review about the freshest jalapeños was spot on. They had just the right amount of spice to be amazing. After a day of hiking I did not get any pictures, but the others do it justice! Both Yelp and Travelocity gives this place great reviews, so we stopped for lunch on our "shop Moab day." Only two folks in front of us to order around 1:00. I ordered the New Mexico Identity Crisis and hubby ordered Sweet n' Spicy. We didn't have to wait long for our order, and the outside seating is shady with many tables and chairs. Woah! This place has a cool sitting area and GREAT food, and soda. We ordered food for a family of five and saw a good amount of people sitting around us with empty tables, so I was concerned it would take too long and I would have some crabby kids, but boy was I wrong! They took MAYBE 15 minutes to get us our food and even my kids were ranting and raving that it was the best quesadilla they have ever had. We love quesadillas. This place doesn't have too many options, and they mostly kind of sound alike. However, so long as you like either plain, plain-with-meat, or like southwest-mexican-style toppings, they've got a flavor you'll find satisfying. The 10" tortilla is folded in half and filled pretty thick with ingredients, and you also get salsa and the choice between normal and a kind of southwest sour cream for dipping / topping the finished product with. Well-executed. If they can come up with some less southwestern-themed quesadillas, this place could easily be worth 5 stars. The now-defunct Quesadilla Grille in Albuquerque had plenty of creations along these lines -- a cheeseburger quesadilla, a philly cheesesteak quesadilla, etc. Would be nice to see varieties like that, but likely difficult to execute in their small workspace. read more

Ordered a just cheese with chicken and they were more than happy to throw on some onions and black olives for me. Their homemade chipotle lime sour cream is to die for. So, there I was at the Pioneer Day Festivities in Monticello, Utah looking for something for lunch. All the food vendors serving Navajo food items had long lines; I continued walking around to see what else might be available. Tucked in the back of Veterans Memorial Park was this bright yellow food truck with bright red lettering on the side...Quesadilla Mobilla. Now I'd seen this same truck in Moab, but either just had a meal, or not hungry at the time; there were only two other people on line, so here was my chance to try them out. The first quesadilla that captured my attention was "The Southern Belle"; it was the beef mixed with sweet potatoes that made my taste senses take extreme notice. Southern Belle Shredded beef slow cooked in a special blend of spices and red chile! Topped with cheddar/jack cheese, sauteed corn, sauteed onions and roasted spicy sweet potatoes! Try this one with chipotle/lime sour cream. Regular (10 inch) $8.50, Large $10.50 Oh my, oh my; this was a most awesomely delicious quesadilla. The regular is a 10 inch tortilla and stuffed! I enjoyed half of it for lunch, and the rest was dinner later on; just as good too. The shredded beef was tender and so flavorful; the sweet potatoes were cooked perfectly; the entire quesadilla was perfect! Even though I did get sour cream on the side, I didn't need it; I don't believe it would have enhanced the flavors, rather it would have hidden them. I did try the homemade green salsa that was offered; it did add to the overall flavor, but I still liked "The Southern Belle" as it was. Quesadilla Mobilla has its home base in Moab, Utah; when not at its location on Main Street, you can find them at the weekly Farmers Market, flea markets or events going on in Grand, San Juan or other local counties. Now here's the sad news, I was told by a Moab local that in the winter months, Quesadilla Mobilla is not allowed to be open for business. Big disappointment! Perhaps they should contact the City of Monticello and see if they can be open up there; I bet the locals would eat them up! Anyway, if you're looking for a unique experience with quesadillas; are in the Moab area, or see this food truck at an event; try them out!!! I was so glad I did. read more

It was ok...Went today after hearing and reading all the hype. First thing the workers were very friendly so 5 stars for service...but the food was simply average. The chips come in a bag from Syscho (sp?) and they were average at best. The guacamole for $2 was terrible and my quesadilla was ok..got the one with spinach black beans sweet potatoes chili peppers and added chicken. It took about 15 mins to get the food.
