I usually get a Pedi for $15 but I thought I would give them a try (since I used to go there when it was Jackies salon) The people there were courteous. The guy (don't know his name) did my pedicure. He dug in my toes to get my ingrown out but he cut my big toe and it wouldn't stop bleeding. It felt somewhat rushed seeing as he finished the same time as my moms pedicure and she started 5-10 mins before me. Paint job was sad my nails were cut weird. Grew fungus on 6 finger nails, they need a gel x class to learn. They removed my gel x half way and applied new set on top of lumpy nails leaving bubbles. Now I have green and yellow nails. I will NEVER come back to this place after what I witnessed! (overdue update) Christine completely left a new (I overheard the young woman say she was new) customer's feet soaking and walked away in the middle of her pedi to help another bitchy customer (who had walked in) with her mani. Dan, Christine's husband, tried to leave me hanging in the middle of my mani to help this other customer until I stood up for myself and spoke up against this... that is when Christine left the new customer soaking in water. The new customer ended up leaving (she didn't stand up for herself and even paid them for little service performed!) I later told Christine it wasn't right and that the bitchy customer needed to wait. I questioned her leaving the new customer hanging and all she could say was, "she's pregnant and this was her third time here...she's moody because she's pregnant" and my response was, "that doesn't mean anything, she was rude and needs to wait the same way we all do. Being pregnant is not permission to leave a new customer like that. You are going to loose business." So ladies and gents, I shall never step foot in that door again! They were so quick to leave me hanging with unfinished mani after I had been there several times, I think NOT! You just don't treat people like that! I want to give them zero stars. This place is actually the closest nail shop to me but i will never go here ever again. I was getting a pedicure and full set done. And the man kept digging really hard into the side of my toe nail to the point that it was making me feel sick i said i didn't feel very well and he just apologized and didn't dig anymore ok whatever. Then he started on my full set. He was using the wrong file and kept cutting my finger then burning i told him ok stop and he kind of laughed and said he was almost done. Please be aware of this place before getting anything done. Its under a new ownership and they show you this sheet with prices before starting your service. The wall poster has other prices as well. Once they have finished with their service they come to give me this outrageous prices. Their defense is that the prices have not been updated yet. Its just not ok. I understand the situation we are in and the fact that they had to replace their equipment. But 8 consider this a total scam. I alwats tip the staff. I still do. Didn't know there's a nail salon here until I went to pick up some clothes from the dry cleaner next door. I guess they've been here for 21 years but the plaza is a bit dead (okay, maybe more than a bit) and their sign a tad nondescript so that could be why I've never noticed it. Christine and Dan were both very nice and fast in what they do. Fast but not hurried. Very friendly and not pushy at all with upselling any other services. Also, they sell mani/pedi kits; if you prefer to not have to share the nail tools, then this is for you. I mean, they do sterilize their tools but I prefer to keep mine separate. $30 for the kit is a good investment, IMO. They are closed on Mondays, and open rest of the week. I got a severely infected toe from a pedicure by the man. Left the salon and my toe was bleeding. By the next day, it was red and swollen. Long story short, it became very infected and after a trip to urgent care...antibiotics and ibuprofen prescribed, it took 2 weeks to heal. I went back and the female owner was very apologetic. She refunded my money for the pedicure at least. I was still out the money for the urgent care and meds. The man was almost laughing when I showed him. He tried to say it was my cuticle's fault not his...what? Anyway, go at your own risk! read more

The place has been I business for a very long time and I have always received exceptional service. Jackie is great and provides quality service. I went in today for the first time after reading recent yelp reviews. I usually go to shop in Norwalk but I feel it's a tad far since I live in Pico Rivera where Queen nails is located. My experience was quite positive. The owners are husband and wife Dan and Christine. Very nice people, very sweet and tried their best to make me feel comfortable. I was given a water bottle while getting my acrylic fills done. Dan did a very good job with the fill and gel polish. The prices are competitive to other shops. The salon is very clean and organized very updated. Seems these are new owners as of recent months and are building their cliental. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt the salon lacked entertainment like a TV while getting nails done. But overall it was a good experience. read more

I've read some pretty bad reviews about this place, but I hadn't been there since they got a new owner. I went with my sister on a Thursday at 1:30 pm, so it wasn't busy. My sister and I both got a full set, and they do two designs for free! (like one on each nail for two nails). They took their time shaping my long "coffin" shaped nails and they came out so nice!
