Decided to give queen nails a try, I usually go to one by my house but wanted to go with something different. Was instantly greeted, they were friendly and nice and seemed interested in you like you weren't Just another customer. I told them I needed to be in and out within an hour and they did good work in the little time I gave them. Didn't catch the guys name but he is awesome and so is Christine. Thanks guys I will definitely be coming back! read more

I want to give them zero stars. This place is actually the closest nail shop to me but i will never go here ever again. I was getting a pedicure and full set done. And the man kept digging really hard into the side of my toe nail to the point that it was making me feel sick i said i didn't feel very well and he just apologized and didn't dig anymore ok whatever. Then he started on my full set. He was using the wrong file and kept cutting my finger then burning i told him ok stop and he kind of laughed and said he was almost done. I said no no i can't so a lady came To finish. That was the LAST time i will ever go there. read more

Please be aware of this place before getting anything done. Its under a new ownership and they show you this sheet with prices before starting your service. The wall poster has other prices as well. Once they have finished with their service they come to give me this outrageous prices. Their defense is that the prices have not been updated yet. Its just not ok. I understand the situation we are in and the fact that they had to replace their equipment. But 8 consider this a total scam. I alwats tip the staff. I still do. Nevertheless I will not be going back to this place. At such high price I would expect much better service. And the fact that they are not straight forward with pricing was just upsetting. read more

Grew fungus on 6 finger nails, they need a gel x class to learn. They removed my gel x half way and applied new set on top of lumpy nails leaving bubbles. Now I have green and yellow nails. I tried to tell the lady many times to remove the old gel x but she kept saying it was okay. Horrible job, do better. read more

First time here. Everyone was nice and attentive. Joe did my pedicure and it was wonderful. Definitely will be back!

I've been going to this nail salon for 10 years and it's always been pretty awesome. But they juts changed owners a while back and it's now AMAZING!!!!! I love this place! Always a stellar job!! read more

Didn't know there's a nail salon here until I went to pick up some clothes from the dry cleaner next door. I guess they've been here for 21 years but the plaza is a bit dead (okay, maybe more than a bit) and their sign a tad nondescript so that could be why I've never noticed it. Christine and Dan were both very nice and fast in what they do. Fast but not hurried. Very friendly and not pushy at all with upselling any other services. Also, they sell mani/pedi kits; if you prefer to not have to share the nail tools, then this is for you. I mean, they do sterilize their tools but I prefer to keep mine separate. $30 for the kit is a good investment, IMO. They are closed on Mondays, and open rest of the week. I def will be back. read more

They've remodeled and it looks amazing. I've been coming here for about a year and everytime I bring in a design they make it happen!

By far the best place I've been to in Downey! The nail techs are all so friendly and very welcoming. This was my first time here and I'm positive it won't be my last. Tony is an absolute gem! He converses with you the entire time and makes sure you leave with exactly what you came in wanting! I Finally found a salon that I'll be visiting on a regular basis! read more

Always clean and great service from Helen and Kim my go to ladies ;) bonus you can walk in or make appointments. Prices are reasonable.

The service was wonderful, Tony is a lovely person and an excellent nail artist.

DONT GO!!! STOP SAVE YOUR MONEY!! WORST SERVICE!!! Really bad service with new management! I was not happy with the service (nails) (they cut me, my nail kept bleeding) and I told them I wasn't going to pay full price. They immediately got offensive. They told me if I don't pay they will call the police. I told them to remove it and I won't pay. And they didn't want to. They called the cops. They were more concerned for there money than there service. Very disappointed. read more

I got a severely infected toe from a pedicure by the man. Left the salon and my toe was bleeding. By the next day, it was red and swollen. Long story short, it became very infected and after a trip to urgent care...antibiotics and ibuprofen prescribed, it took 2 weeks to heal. I went back and the female owner was very apologetic. She refunded my money for the pedicure at least. I was still out the money for the urgent care and meds. The man was almost laughing when I showed him. He tried to say it was my cuticle's fault not his...what? Anyway, go at your own risk! read more

I went this morning to do a pedicure, my daughter had got me a gift card for $40.00 so when I was done I gave her the gift card and she said my pedicure was $40.00. They are a ripe off. They couldn't even do a paw print. read more

Normally undo my own manicures and pedicures but in the occasion that I decide to get pampered I make my way here. The place has been I business for a very long time and I have always received exceptional service. Jackie is great and provides quality service. Today was no exception and being that I was a walk in I was pleasantly surprised that she took me in and I did not wait no more than fifteen minutes for a chair. Not one of the higher end nail Salons but the service they provide it great. And yes I got to relax. Need to come here more often. read more

I went in today for the first time after reading recent yelp reviews. I usually go to shop in Norwalk but I feel it's a tad far since I live in Pico Rivera where Queen nails is located. My experience was quite positive. The owners are husband and wife Dan and Christine. Very nice people, very sweet and tried their best to make me feel comfortable. I was given a water bottle while getting my acrylic fills done. Dan did a very good job with the fill and gel polish. The prices are competitive to other shops. The salon is very clean and organized very updated. Seems these are new owners as of recent months and are building their cliental. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt the salon lacked entertainment like a TV while getting nails done. But overall it was a good experience. read more

My daughters and mother are loyal to Tina's pedicures.Tina is most definite the queen of pedicures! She takes 45 minutes on your feet and if you have ingrown issues she will do whatever it takes to remedy the problem. We have been coming to her for 6 years and every person I refer to her becomes another loyal customer. -edit- July 2012 Tina is only working Thurs-Saturday for now. Make an appointment. She is very busy all the time. read more

Such a beautiful vibe, as well as the scenery. All the employees are very welcoming and kind. They're also excellent at what they do. I truthfully have had no complaints only compliments. We need more places like this. Places where the employees actually acknowledge their customers as well as communicate and make them feel welcomed. I love the music, kindness, & good service and company. Anna is my main go to but everybody else I've gotten is great at what they do. THANK YOU QUEENS for making everybody look so purty. You are appreciated immensely read more

Worst place ever I got a full set and pedicure and paid 81.00 for shit. Toes look awful and my nails already lifted in 1 week. I had to go somewhere else to fix them. The lady who dis my pedicure rushed me she didnt even do a thorough job. You can find way better nail shops elsewhere. read more

Great service!!! Super friendly staff. I got a mani and pedi. It lasted for over 2 wks. Usually I only have them for 1 wk.

Very friendly people except for the man who does the acrylics, I am warning anyone who goes before hand he is very aggressive and WILL cut you he cut two of my fingers and he laughed and said it was ok while one of my fingers was bleeding. Definitely not a good place for acrylics bc of him but every other service is great. read more

I've read some pretty bad reviews about this place, but I hadn't been there since they got a new owner. I went with my sister on a Thursday at 1:30 pm, so it wasn't busy. My sister and I both got a full set, and they do two designs for free! (like one on each nail for two nails). They took their time shaping my long "coffin" shaped nails and they came out so nice! I will definitely be coming back. Christine is so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. $20 for long nails with two designs? that's so cheap for good quality! read more

Went here for my first time for a mani-pedi. They ran the water, I sat down, the lady named Christine started working on my feet. Then a woman came in and said she couldn't wait to get her full set and she didn't have time to wait....so the same woman who was working on my feet, started working on a new customer after I had been there for 10 minutes. I sat there for about 20 minutes after. Without even washing her hands....needless to say, I paid for the cut down and left without anything done. It sucked. Oh yeah, they wanted to charge me $10 for a cut down on one foot. I paid $5. read more
