don't come here if you care about cleanliness and sanitizing!!!! they used dirty tools on me and cut me 4 times where i bled out and they kept using the tools on me touching my blood and putting the tools back into a plastic bin with other nail files and tools! the nail file was used many times before she tried using it on me!! the pedicure bowl isn't supposed to be covered in the plastic and they do that here! because they don't care to clean and sanitize properly after it's used. i also got fungus on my big toe after coming here. i filed a claim with the board of barbering and cosmetology. i got a call this morning saying they had already went and gave them a citation shortly before i submitted mine! so sad that this place still goes back to their disgusting habits. i don't think anything serious will ever happen so they stop harming people with their nasty tools!! read more

My first negative yelp review but it was necessary. I took my daughters for their first "salon experience" and wish I hadn't because it was a terrible experience for them. One Lady argued with my 7 year old in front of me saying, "'why didn't you tell me you wanted those two nails painted those colors, I asked you"! I had to remind her she was 7! As for my 6 year old, they put her sandals on (sandals had strap on toe area) when her nails were still wet and didn't want to fix them. First time here, lady was nice took me in right away. I noticed that her cart didn't have the sanitizing bag for the nail tools. I asked her if she sanitized her tools she hesitantly said yes. . Another worker had her tools still in a sanitizing bag. I hope my nail tech didn't use someone else's used tools on me. I usually like to go local after work to get my nails done. I decided to try this place because it is super close by. I came in on a Thursday at 1, and it's empty. I thought okay great, (as I had an appointment anyways). Now i've come the realization that when a nail spa it empty with absolutely no people in it, it always means the place isn't that great. I had this girl named wendy do my pedicure, very basic pedicure. She digs into my big toes as if I had ingrowns which i don't. Anyways once she starts with the gel polish, she does a sloppy job. Getting polish on my skin, and I have to tell her clean it up so many times. I expect them to know how to paint toes. I still tipped. I wasn't impressed, and I probably won't go back again. Not worth the money! Megan did my manicure and did not do a good job. She did not even clean out all the dead cuticle. Every other nail salon I've visited that's always a must! When asked to do so she did a fast clean not even removing dead cuticle. Then when she started polishing my nails she wouldn't cover the whole nail. I found this hidden gem in Pico Rivera on Washington Blvd. Karen 1.0, Karen 2.0, Hye, Nam, Eva, Kathy and Karin were so friendly, nice, accommodating and professional! It was on a Sunday evening and could not find an open nail salon. I looked online, was driving around and found Top Line Nails & Spa open. It was close to their closing time and they stayed late for us. This is my go to place forever! Trust me! You will not be disappointed. It's clean and fancy! I wouldn't recommend Michelle to anyone. Not only did she have a bad attitude, she would be aggressive with my hands, when asking for what length of nails she said what I chose was "Too long!" Yet it's my choice of what length I want, I am the customer. She not only judged my choice of length, she ended up just cutting it down eventually to what she wanted, then when I said no to gel she said "it's too expensive or what?" SMH! Worst customer service ever, made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Not to mention, my nails are a total wreck. When I got up, she kept bumping me and disregarding me standing there or passing by to wash my hands. I wanted out of there so bad I just sucked it up and left. I came to this place last night because my go to place is closed for renovations, And this was the closest thing. I was greeted in and didn't wait much( I went in for a full set and pedicure)Everything seemed fine at first. The guy started with my nails first, then the girl came and started my pedicure about 5-10 minutes after. And it took her about 10 mins to finish. The guy doing my nails seemed like he was doing an ok job even tho he hurt me a couple times with the file machine. Then when the gel application was done my nails didn't look nice at all. I now have a chipped pinky nail and clear gel all over my cuticles, which is gonna cause my gel to chip off even faster. (Mind you they charge about $10 extra just for gel polish) which makes you think it'll be done right. I ended up paying $53 for both not including tip. ($35 for full set , $18 for pedicure) what a disappointment. read more

I've done walk ins and they did take me but Kathy the person I always request is almost always busy, but still I wait for her with out hesitation. So instead of waiting and wasting time I opted to making appointments with Kathy since the manager said it would be more convenient for me that way I didn't have to wait. Mind you she also said this in a very condescending tone. BOY WAS DO THEY LIE!! All the times I've made appointments with her I always walk in to them taking someone before me EVEN THOUGH I HAVE MADE MY APPOINTMENT.
