The sales office was helpful to get the transaction completed. However, when Hertz gets their money, there is absolutely ZERO contact. Try calling the sales office...goes to voicemail whose inbox is full. Try emailing agents...ghosted. I had to resort to writing a google script which would send an email every hour to ask for the paperwork to finally close the sale and get my temp tags and registration. In the meantime, until the sale was closed, I was getting charged $100 every day that the rental wasn't either returned or officially purchased. To the credit of the sales office, they did eventually respond and sent the paperwork. I am still bewildered at how I managed to fill out a purchase order and wire money, only to be sent the EXACT SAME purchase order electronically days later electronically. At this point I already wired the money and thought the contract was signed. Overall very pleased with my purchase, but not pleased at all with the sales office in Cincinnati. Future purchases from Hertz will avoid this office.

Another couple in an old van also arrived at the same time we did stating that they had reservations to pick up on Saturday. Website hours stated that they were open on Saturday starting June 18. Sign on window stated they were open on Saturdays. Google stated that they were open on Saturday. But on a piece of paper taped up sign on the door said they were closed on Saturdays. I did the online check-in ahead of time, never received a call or any contact stating that they were closed and that we wouldn't be able to pick up our rental, and I continued to receive confirmation emails about our Saturday 9 AM pick up Rental. We were very fortunate to have a car that we could take on vacation, but the couple in the van next to us did not. I called customer service and spent every bit of 45 minutes online with them while they tried to find another car for us, to no avail. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with renting a car. If I could give HERTZ a negative 100 star rating, I surely would. Nothing was offered aside from refunding our money. It was just like a shoulder shrug... Sorry we are closed guess you'll have to figure it out on your own. Just for curiosity's sake, I tried to make another reservation on a Saturday and had no issue doing so even though they are apparently closed on Saturdays. I wonder how many more people will be stranded when they can't pick up a rental car because the office is closed ?!? They need to fix the problem. I can't believe they are still open with the piss poor customer service they offer.

After having some terrible car rental services in the past with…read morelong waits, rude agents, reservations not being ready or available, etc... it's easy to recognize great customer service and friendly staff. I travel a lot for work and have been to my fair share of rental locations. I had a weekend rental that I picked up on a Friday and was planning to drop off Monday morning at 8am when they open. Even before my reservation day, 2 days ahead of time, someone called me to confirm the rental and pickup time as I was having someone pick me up from home. That was great so I don't worry that they'll forget or be late. On the day of my reservation the agent came right on time to pick me up and offered to help load the car with my luggage. She drove very well and we had a friendly conversation to the rental office. When I arrived to the office, my car was ready and I was greated by Tyler. I didn't have to wait to be helped or wait for a car to be cleaned, or show up. It was ready and paperwork was made up. We went through the basics of adding on gas, insurance, etc if I wanted. Tyler asked if I was planning to return the car Monday morning and needed a ride back home and I said yes, at 8am when you open. He asked if I had any flexibility in that time since Monday mornings are their busiest times and the wait to get a ride could take an hour or two. I said I had to get to work but could work with that if needed since I had no other option. I asked if there was a pickup service for returning the car and there wasn't. However, Tyler saw my address on the paperwork and said he lives close by and could find a ride over and pick up the car Monday morning on his way to work. I was really happy about this so I didn't have to waste all the time to go back to the office and wait to get a ride back before going to work! He didn't have to do it and yet he offered and said he'd set a reminder for himself. I've never had someone go out of their way to make the process that much better. Monday morning comes and Tyler came to pick up the car even after he called in sick as he got poison oak. He took an Uber over just to pick up the car so he could keep his promise of picking it up. He could have easily called to tell me he was unfortunately unable to pick it up and I would have returned it to the office. But he went above and beyond to keep a customer happy and satisfied with the ease of everything. That says a lot about Tyler and I really appreciate what he did. He deserves a big bonus and is definitely one of my favorite examples of great customer service. Whenever I need another rental from the Cincinnati area, I won't hesitate to make sure I come back here and recommend it to all my friends. T

The customer service was great and I really enjoyed my experience all the way up to the point where they accused me of damaging a vehicle. The vehicle was damaged when I picked it up and the Rep said it's marked. Of course me not having experience should have made sure it was on my contract. If they are dishonest then they don't do their job correctly. I'm sure they hear I didn't do it all the time. I have a perfect driving record no speeding, no accidents that I've caused absolutely nothing. I've never broken something and didn't take responsibility for it. I'll never go back to them and I may just get a lawyer and sue them for damages and stress.
