So when i was taking it in for service at Kings, i asked the lady who booked my appointment, my service adviser, and the fellow who checked me out , to have someone talk/walk me through some of the tech features that the car Has. The lady and the adviser said they would work on it and the checkout guy Said my best option was to go to the new car sales building and have a salesperson help me. I purchased a used car from this dealership July 3, 2025. I did all the paperwork online and I was an out of state purchaser. I caught several errors on the paperwork that needed to be corrected at the time of the contract. I also purchased an extended warranty because the vehicle had 49.5k miles and the warranty was set to expire in 500 miles. When I picked up the car, it was dirty, no complimentary car wash and the tank was on empty. They did rectify the gas tank by filling it up. The warranty arrived in the mail a few weeks later to which I didn't question it because I've never had an extended warranty. Fast forward 4 months, I brought the car to my local dealer to complete a software update. When the dealer contacted Zurich - the extended warranty policy holder, they said the warranty had expired because the selling dealer entered it in incorrect as a new vehicle that expired at 50k miles. The only way to fix it is through the dealer. I have called the sales rep, the business manager and even Marie the clerk who processed the paperwork. It has been 24 hrs and there has been no communication from them and no resolution. My car is stuck at the dealership and I have an unusable warranty. They have no customer satisfaction concerns at all. VERY, VERY disappointing. I have called them at least 5 times and get voicemail. I even called Zurich who said unfortunately the dealer has to rewrite the policy and fix it. Buyer beware. If you buy from them be prepared to be on your game and scrutinize every last detail. I did not head the warnings. I'm VERY disappointed and it makes me really sad that companies no longer believe in going the extra mile for the hard earned money that departs our pockets and all the added unnecessary stress. read more

I recently had work done to my Toyota Tacoma at Toyota of Kings Auto Mall in Cincinnati. First and foremost I would like to commend service writer Matt McGee. I was impressed by Matt because I had an appointment on a Friday morning and he got me right in. Unfortunately the parts for my truck had to be ordered so the work would be delayed until Monday. When I showed up Monday morning, Matt was out in the service drive and saw me and my fiancé pull in. He greeted us by name as we exited the truck. Wow! He remembered us and what we did for work. (We work for Ford in a different town) Matt worked to get us in a loaner vehicle since there was a bunch of work that needed to be done. I am incredibly disappointed in my service from Kings Toyota, and regret taking my car there. This was my first time going to a Toyota dealership with my 2011 Corolla. I went because there was a recall that needed fixing, that they were going to do for free. That went fine. It went downhill from there. I also needed my drive/serpentine belt replaced because my car goes through them quickly and they make an awful squealing noise, like a dying pig, when they need replaced. I needed that fixed, so I figured I would have them do it since I was taking my car in anyways. When making my appointment, I was quoted $130 total for parts and labor for the drive belt and was told my car would only need to be there that day, and I'd have it back before they closed. When I get there the day of my appointment, I'm told they needed my car for 2-3 DAYS and the drive belt and labor was a total of $206.78...over $75 more than my original quote! I also needed an oil change and that was $109, which is ridiculous but I really needed it and didn't feel like going to another shop so soon, so I paid it. Now, a week later, my drive belt is still squealing when I start and first drive my car. I called John Ramsey who was the Assistant Service Manager who has been helping me, and he blamed it on my off-market alternator. This has NEVER been a problem for me at any other shop when I have gotten this repaired. I am very frustrated because the squeal was the problem, it wasn't fixed, and now I'm out over $200 and they're refusing to help me, outside of replacing the alternator for about $900, when the alternator is perfectly functional and safe. As if. I just don't want my car squealing down the street and drawing all eyes to me. I will never bring my car here again, never recommend it to someone else, and I will never buy a car here. read more

I took my 2024 Rav4 hybrid xle in for a 20,000 mile service per the warranty on Sat 11/1/25. They changed the oil and did not tighten the oil pan plug!! I drove to work and home on Sunday morning, then discovered oil all over my driveway sunday night. I had to rush to get oil before stores closed and refill the oil. They reimbursed me for the oil, but then ghosted me when I tried to reach them to conclude a conversation I had with the service manager. He wanted to give me a free oil change, I suggested an equivalent gift card to use for a dinner. He ghosted me after this. I will not use Kings service ever again. I can forgive a rather large screw up like this, but when they didn't have the decency to even return my calls to say "No" to the gift card. That is TERRIBLE treatment. read more

Provided a courtesy rental initially when realizing service personnel was not sufficient. He provided consistent communication about the repairs and when it would be complete. ATTENTION!!! If you're looking to buy any type of car/truck from Kings Toyota - Used Cars, Parts & Service DO NOT!!!! They are nothing but liars and scammers and have no sense of morality whatsoever. My husband purchased a used Nissan Titan diesel truck from them less than a year ago (with the highest level extended warranty package that they offer might I add!) and within 2 months the check engine light came on. When he brought said truck in to be fixed, they then informed him that they do not work on diesel trucks and he would have to take his truck to Nissan which is also in the Kings Auto Mall. How can you clear a diesel truck to be sold but have no mechanics on staff to verify that truck is safe to drive? Toyota basically washed their hands of the issue or the truck and put it all on Nissan. Nissan then checked the truck out and said something was wrong (not sure what exactly) but when my husband received his truck back the check engine light was off and the truck was running normally. Only for a few short weeks though. Toyota then did an oil change for my husband and within 1 MONTH of receiving the truck back, the engine blew up and caused $51k of damage because THERE WAS OIL LEAKING!!!!! But guess what??? They aren't going to cover that right, even though they sold him an extended warranty that literally says they will. Because the employees at Toyota are some of the most rude and arrogant people we have ever encountered, but most importantly they are liars that only want a sale. They've now had my husbands work truck for around 3 weeks and demanding he pay close to $6k for their screw up before they even attempt to fix the truck. BULLSHIT! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this place. Nissan has the truck in their shop because they have a diesel mechanic BUT the responsibility all falls on Kings Toyota for selling a POS truck and not have the BALLS to stand behind what they do, instead they pass it off to whoever will accept the responsibility and blame. Not good is an understatement. I waited 3 hours last week for a SCHEDULED tire rotation. Nothing else, just a rotation. Today I waited 2 hours again for just a tire rotation. They are continuing to over promise and under deliver. I understand they are short staffed, but they refuse to adjust their schedule to meet their staffing situation. Furthermore, the advisors that are there are horribly rude and inconsiderate of their customers time. I won't give a name, but M.L. (who is a service advisor) had no problems bad mouthing me to other customers because I asked to speak to a manager about the situation. We bought a certified used car with the 12-month, 12000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. However the battery was not the correct battery for the start/stop feature and died during the first 9-months. However Kings Toyota said the battery is NOT part of the warrantied charging system (what?) so we had to pay $450 for a new battery that is actually suitable for the car. This is NOT the first time we've been taken advantage of by Kings Toyota. Kings Toyota feedback We had a repair for our van that was quoted free of charge by multiple places. We called Kings Toyota to get the same quote and they asked we bring the vehicle in. We were told we would be charged for the quotes upon arriving. Once the quote was completed, we learned that EACH separate service would be a $145 quote charge to essentially shine flashlights around and take notes. We opted to get one of the repairs done which was $400 plus quote charges to replace a simple switch. The other fix was quoted at 52% more than my mechanic. Because I didn't want to pay that exorbitant amount, we opted to pay the $145 extortion charge to essentially get our van back. We bought 2 vehicles from Kings Toyota and I made a commitment to the employee at the service desk to NEVER buy a vehicle from King's in the future and to make sure that others know to do the same. Everyone was extremely polite but offered as much empathy as trying to discuss a medical bill with your insurance company. I have a list of companies I will never do business with and Kings Toyota made the list. read more

We get our loan info and our loan is over $3,000 more, he charged us over $3,000 for the warranty, well they are refunding the warranty but won't refund the over $200.00 in taxes we were charged on that amount, shady as hell!!! Terrible experience, would never buy a car from them again. Aside from half of the agents not wearing masks or wearing masks under their noses, the agent who worked with us (Austin) didn't really seem to care whether he made a sale. We decided we were interested in a car and verbally agreed on some touch-up work to be done before the sale was final. The work took a week longer than expected, but hey, it's 2020, things are crazy. But when we drove a half hour up to pick up the car, there was no visible difference. Instead of apologizing for wasting our time, Austin blamed it on us (we had to leave the first time we were there and apparently he couldn't be bothered to call to clarify what we wanted done) and on Kings/the shop for poor communication. He pushed us to just take the car, claiming that the make/model we wanted was going fast. It's not, which we could easily tell, because their inventory is online. We said to call us when the work was done and drove the half hour home. On our way, we got a call from a guy in the title department who was still expecting us. Apparently Austin hadn't communicated we weren't getting the car that day. Third time we went up SOME of the agreed-upon work had been done. Austin claimed that the other stuff couldn't be fixed (doubtful) but again, hadn't bothered to call to inform us. The only reason we didn't walk away at that point was we actually needed a car and didn't want to start from scratch. They took off a few hundred bucks, but it's not going to cover the paint work the car will definitely need in the future. Oh, and after we got the car home we kept finding areas that hadn't been properly detailed. Literal trash in some compartments. Gross. The last straw was finding out that we were responsible for getting our own tags--and they didn't tell us that until we called because our tags were about to expire. Every previous used car we've bought, the dealer arranged them for us. I don't mind going to the BMV myself, but at least make it clear we'll need to. Overall, an obnoxious hassle, and I absolutely do not recommend them. read more

Fast forward to this year when I had the displeasure of working with Wanda. I first went into kings in February/March to discuss buying a new car. I am incredibly patient and easy to work with. I know (as everyone else does) that cars are in short supply. First red flag was when Wanda literally turned someone away and said "we don't have anything." She did sit down with me but was exceptionally rude and sat on her phone the entire time, barely answering my questions despite me telling her that I'm very willing to wait and work with her to find a car on the preference list. The entire time she talked to me as if I didn't have money. I have a very well paying job and am in the market for a truck with all the bells and whistles. Today, I thought I'd give her another shot because other dealerships are eager to discuss with their customers, even if to establish a contact for when availability increases again. INot Wanda. I called her and its as if she wants to do the bare minimum. I am the perfect customer, yet she seemed to not even be any me to be on the preference list? She brushed me off by telling me "cars are hard to get." Everyone knows that. I am literally willing to wait 6-12 months and be flexible with what I'm looking for but I have not had the opportunity to communicate that.
