    Been a customer with Kings Honda now for roughly 10 years. On my 3rd car with them, I've always had a pretty decent experience until my last trip on 3/28. I received an email with a lease buyout deal and went into the dealership to get into a new car possibly as I was looking something a little more sporty. I brought this deal to attention of the sales rep and he said "I don't need to see it". I explained to the sales rep what I was looking to get into, and the payment amount I'd like to be around upfront. He didn't really hesitate or seem to think I was not in the ball park on figures. The rep proceeded to get me numbers on an SI (that I wasn't allowed to test drive until numbers were negotiated I might add). I sat for over an hour to get an outlandish number thrown out at me (almost triple my current payment, no where near what we had discussed prior), when I asked why so high, there was no consideration to honor said lease deal that was sent to me, I was given false numbers on the amount of my trade in and lease pay off amounts. The more I questioned what I was being told, nothing made sense. I got the impression that they just wanted me off the lot. They completely wasted my time and could have said right off the bat that they wouldn't honor the deal, that would have ended things pretty quickly and I would have moved on and probably kept my car. At this point I don't want to do business with Kings Honda anymore. So I took my business down the street to Columbia Acura where they honored the deal (very shocked that they did) that was sent to me, took my trade in with no penalties, as the email stated and got me into a more expensive and sportier car for far less than the SI I was "quoted" at Kings. I'll never be back to Kings Honda, they lost a customer for life. Shout out to Columbia Acura for a fantastic experience and saving what felt like a wasted day up until that point!

    If you go for an oil change watch out for unstated shop fees. On a $60 oil change and tire rotation shop fees were $22. Won't do that again.

There was a show incentive of $50 to test drive, so even more reason to go. Added note, the salesman said the dealership was not participating in that program, but we were ready to continue with even without the GC. After initially talking to a salesman and leading with our lease is expiring soon. we were told they didn't have time if that we were only there for the gift certificate. We asked to speak to the salesman manager, and he came out with an attitude that he couldn't be bothered and didn't care that we will be purchasing or leasing within the next few months. If this is how potential buyers are treated, I have little faith that customers would be treated any better. No wonder they still have four "New" 2025s on their lot.

Who was a super kind and informative throughout the whole process. Bill took us on a test drive and explained the vehicles finer points initially. Then we took some time to research the vehicles finer points on our own and dealerships and dealership pricing across the area. Finally we found thinking their lot that was loaded with more features than the average EX and for a lower price! Bill was even kind to give us a great deal on our vehicle on trade. Which we greatly appreciated! Rhonda was great in handling the finer financial details when it was time to take possession. Very kind and personable as well. Bill then finished up the process by setting us up on the kia connect app and showing us some more details about the car before we drove off. Bill assured us he's always here if we need anything and I believe it! I'd highly suggest using Bill Essen when you are looking for your next car. I'm hoping that future interactions with service will be as pleasant as the experience with sales! So far I love the vehicle and love the dealership. Writing this review on day 2 of ownership.
