I have been getting my oil changes done here for the past 2 years…read more Back in the spring, I had a problem with my 2014 Jeep Compass, not accepting gas. Took it to Truman, at Meineke. He figured out something ( I don't know technical terms!) to make it accept gas, and charged me a minimal price, since we didn't know if it would last. Well, in September, it happened again!! He did more intense evaluation, & tweaked it, but unfortunately this didn't last long, either. I took it back on October 11; he figured out what was hopefully the problem, and charged me $0 . Even if it happens again(I hope it doesn't!), I won't blame Truman, because they did such a great job along with their excellent customer service, they will still have me as a client for any other issues!! After the work was done, the passenger window still didn't work, and now the driver's side window doesn't work either. We paid $850 for the privilege of having them make a second window inoperable. When I raised this concern at the counter, the gentleman working there became noticeably defensive about questions regarding their decision making, specifically, why an expensive switch was replaced without first confirming there weren't other problems. I was frustrated that the car not only wasn't fixed, but came back in worse shape than when we dropped it off. This is a classic case of replacing a part and hoping for the best. No real diagnostic work. No accountability. Terrible customer service. I'm filing a charge-back and considering further remedies.
