This was a tour of some of the murals in OTR (Over the Rhine) which is north of downtown. It was absolutely amazing. The tour guide/ driver was so knowledgeable and I could have listened to him for hours. If you are interested in art, this is an absolute must do. Whether you are a Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky resident, a newcomer or visitor, you must do this tour. There are also walking mural tours and Pedal Wagon food and drink options, either way, I highly recommend doing a Pedal Wagon. One minor issue, they say the Wagon holds 16 but one of the seats is a cooler and one of the seats is a bench that is supposed to seat three but was not very comfortable for our group of senior ladies. We would have been more comfortable if it was only 14. So as a word of caution unless your group is really young and/or thin, don't do 15-16 passengers. read more

So it was good but also was bad - let's talk about the good first, we had a lady and not gonna write her name down but she was a very nice & kind. So that was definitely a nice thing. So we enjoyed that she was nice & kind. She offered us water at the start of the Pedal Wagon tour and spoke to us which was nice. Okay, now the bad. So we did think this was gonna be a Pedal Wagon Tour of Cincinnati? Well it wasn't really a Tour. We just went to two bars- something we really don't do like that. Don't get me wrong the two bars we went to did have some nice chicken- and the people was friendly. But we were looking more on tour of Cincinnati- We booked a tour to learn more about the history & go to vary of different things normal people whose is not from the city would enjoy. Well we spent money just to go to two bars and to ride on a pedal bike. To be honest we would have done that ourselves. So didn't feel like we got our money worth. We actually spent more money than we wanted to because we were trying to at least keep ourselves entertained by going to the two bars she took us to. Which was not in our budget plan for this specific event. So we told them to just leave us at the friendly market and they went on their way at the end of trip. So overall, if your looking for a tour of Cincinnati I wouldn't recommend booking this but if your looking just to ride the Pedal Wagon for a couple of hours and party a little then highly recommended it. read more

What an awesome Cincy experience! I had been wanting to do this for awhile and winning this ride in a silent auction was the perfect excuse. We did a 15 passenger private ride and our driver was super nice and personable. What I didn't know is that you get to pick your stops. Had I known, I would have planned a route. We still had a great time with stops at Somerset and La Ofrenda. Our driver even let us stay out slightly past our 2 hr window which was awesome because we had a long ride between our steps (despite them being relatively close in location). If you haven't tried a pedal wagon, this is your sign to go on one!! How does it work? - essentially you get on the wagon and they drive you around Cincy. You tell them what bars you wanna go to and they'll take you there. To be honest, it's fun being on the pedal wagon longer. "Do I have to pedal the whole time??" - No! It really just is for looks because the driver drives the whole time. You essentially just sit there, look pretty, drink and try not to fall. - if you want to actually pedal they do have another pedal wagon that does that "How do o get drinks!" - you BYOB - there's a certain limit that each person can drink so just make sure you follow that - you can also buy drinks at the bar. certain bars will give you discounts for being on the pedal wagon! We had Jack for this ride and he was great putting up with our crazy group. Would 4/5 recommend him as a driver. Whoever invented the Pedal Wagon is a genius! I've never had a bad time on a Pedal Wagon; it's such a fun form of entertainment and something different that you don't do on a regular basis. All of the times I have went has been for a "girls day out" and we always go on a Sunday afternoon for "Sunday Funday". A Pedal Wagon trip can take a bit of planning and organizing, especially if you plan to book the whole wagon for your group (which we've always done). ALSO - the staff are ALWAYS so much fun and provide entertainment for the group. Alcohol rule: 36oz of beer or seltzer less than 8% ABV, or 18oz of wine per person. This is enough since you'll be drinking inside of the bars. Depending on how many stops you choose (2 versus 3) you'll have more or less time on the pedal wagon. If you go to 3 bars, you may have 30-45 minutes in the bar and 10-20 minutes of a ride to the next stop. Pedal wagon is the perfect way to spend time with your group, social distance, and get a "walking" tour of downtown Cincinnati. They serve groups up to 15 people, and they run tours into the cold parts of winter so you can celebrate your group for the majority of the year. It's obviously more fun in the summer, but for people with January birthdays (me, weather dependent), they used to have an option for a plastic covered pedal wagon to keep the heat in. Pedal wagon is a great time, and they drop you off at your last stop and you're more than welcome to keep drinking and then you're responsible for getting back to your car at Pedal Wagon HQ (they keep them overnight if you need). Everything from start to finish was dang near perfect! I booked a private wagon for the Polar Express tour about a month in advance. 15 person wagon with all the Christmas fixins, cooler, aux cord and awesome driver for around $300. It was well worth it! All of the emails and confirmation texts were really helpful to make sure we had everything in order before we made our way to the garage. If you have friends like mine who forget to sign their waivers, recommend them to arrive early so they can sign in person. The alcohol policy is pretty detailed so they set you up for a successful, fun ride! Our driver was awesome and friendly. He happily dealt with our 2000's R&B playlist and our stop requests. Since this was a Polar Express tour, we wanted to swing by Fountain Square to see the Christmas tree and festivities. It was a perfect last stop before heading back to Bunker Alley. I really appreciate the team making this a memorable birthday celebration. My whole group had a lot of fun on our 2 hour ride and enjoyed all of our stops! read more

Pedal Wagon Cincinnati is so much fun! I did a surprise pedal wagon ride for my gf and her friends for her birthday this past Sunday! The booking process was very simple and easy. We did a private 15 seater Redlegs Rally ride and the total came out to 400.00 (26.00 per person). We also had our cooler with all our seltzers and tunes to connect to the Bluetooth. Not bad at all. We stopped at two bars and ended up getting dropped off near the Banks. I totally forget the name of the guy who was our captain but he was legit!! The Pedal Wagon was a ton of fun! I think the experience was well worth the money. I appreciate the flexibility in the structure of the night on the wagon - the riders pretty much have the jurisdiction to decide where they want to pedal, for how long they want to be in the bars, etc. The group I was with was disappointed to find that our wagon didn't have an engine and we actually had to pedal to make the again go anywhere. Despite popular belief, it really wasn't hard and none of us broke a sweat. It also helps when your pedal wagon driver is awesome! Miles was really funny and got along quite well with our group. What a blast! It was raining and we seemed to make it end once we got to peddlin'. Our driver was great and our group was CRUNK! We got to plug in and listen to our own music so it turned into a club on wheels. First stop was Arnold's. Need I say more? There was a rain delay and a few groups idling when we arrived but it turned out great. My in-laws were in town and they were celebrating their birthdays. Since they are twins it was double the energy. We got to drink and pedal which is ironically a good way to sober up. For only 3 stops it's a bit pricey at $300+ but we didn't really think about that during the experience. All in all I'd do it again! I suggest a group of 10-15 ppl to make it affordable. Imagine you and 14 of your favorite friends pedaling their way across the community on a vehicle with table tops, cup holders, and a knowledgeable tour guide. I first saw Pedal Wagon at its introduction at Beerfest in February. How exciting to see it implemented with one of my favorite topics: history tours! I took the hour long Barons and Bike Tour with American Legacy Tours, narrated by our guide, John. Peddling the bike was pretty easy, especially if all people participate. There is also a giant awning over the seats that kept us dry during a spontaneous rain storm. It was perfect weather for a bike ride: around 60º. Hopefully it will get a nice breeze in the summer; if you have a choice, plan to go on a cool day. We heard lots of interesting stories on the tour, such as the horrors of dismemberment accidents at old saw mills, where Mr. Kroger's house is, and about Wiedeman Brewing. Newport's Eastern Row is filled with historic, grandiose houses and Victorian-style churches. Plus the landscaping is gorgeous with greenery hanging over the streets. In addition to the history tours, Pedal Wagon gives two-hour pub crawls on the weekends through Over-The-Rhine. Riders travel from Neon's, Arnold's, The Lackman, and Japp's, enjoying special drink prices at each. $360.00 to book the entire Pedal Wagon for your group or $30.00 for individual tickets. This is such a cool idea and it has a great execution! My first experience was back in 2015 when a group of us went for my birthday. The team was really helpful in getting everyone checked in and waivers signed! My recommendation is to sign the waivers either beforehand and bring them in or do it online so when you get there you can jump right on and start peddling! We went to Taft's, Rhinehaus, and Neon's (which was open back then). You can pick your own route or have one suggested for you based on what the Pedal Wagon team thinks would be the easiest way to get around the city (and they are super knowledgeable!). My most recent time on the Pedal Wagon, they created our route for us so we went to Northside Distillery, O'Malley's, and Wise Guys. At first it sounded like it was going to be a longer trek to each place since they are pretty spread out throughout the city, but it was perfect! I recommend bringing beer (or wine!) on the wagon to drink in between stops, and you have just the right amount of time to have one drink before you get to the next bar. Just no glass! They have a sound system that hooks up to an iPhone (and doubles as a charger, THANK GOD!) and anyone can play their music. The drivers are all so nice so make sure to bring a tip for them! read more

Great for a Bachelorette party! A unique way to engage with the city! (We took the OTR route) Needed to book two wagons to fit our large party. The company was incredibly accommodating and we were able to have both wagons follow each other along the route. The wagons are super easy! You supply the beer, and they've got the ice and coolers. I had been wanting to do a pedal wagon for awhile, and I'm glad I finally did. We stopped at Taft's and Knock Back Nats (the free popcorn is a nice paring with the booze!) They've got AUX cords in case you want specific music, and the radio as a backup. **The only caveat is that some of the wagons are not motorized. You might actually have to pedal. (I guess this makes the beer go down a little sweeter). read more
