Our server, Luis, was an absolute sweetheart, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The menu had so many incredible choices that it was hard to choose! This is a good vibe Italian right in the centre of Fairfield with inside seating and attractive bar and an outdoor seating scene with a great vibe. Although I found nothing particularly outstanding or memorable, it was a perfectly pleasant Italian meal enjoyed with a decent bottle of Chianti. read more

I actually didn't mean to try this restaurant -- I had it confused with another (I'm visiting from out of state) but it's okay because I enjoyed the experience (for the most part) We were greeted by a kind hostess & she directed us towards sitting at the bar (which is where we wanted to sit) I forgot what my drink is called but it has strawberry & some other sweet flavors to it and I got it with casamigos repasado which was very delicious. The drink was a 9/10! For the appetizers, I started with cesar salad & shrimp soup situation and the salad was very disappointing I was totally dissatisfied & underwhelmed and the broth that the shrimp was in was very delicious but the shrimp was over cooked so that was a bummer as well. Also, our bartender/server didn't bring any complimentary bread along with our appetizers until we were almost finished with it so I didn't enjoy that cause I LOVEEEE bread. Mind you, the restaurant was pretty much empty that day so idk what the slow to service/not being attentive was about. I had the spicy penne vodka with chicken and my man had the chicken parmesan pasta and my pasta was soooo good I actually preferred it alone with no meat just noodles & sauce. The chicken in the vodka gave me the impression that it was pre-packaged/frozen and I do not like that at all. My boyfriend's chicken parm pasta was okay - he enjoyed it which is good. Who's open on a weekday evening after 9pm that serves legit meals and not just bar food? That was the question and problem that Quattro Pazzi Café solved for us! Double win: a pasta menu as long as the Eataly fresh pasta selections! Service was always attentive but a little bit of missed communication with multiple people waiting on us and not knowing exactly where we were in the process of water, orders, etc. but we never didn't have what we needed. Atmosphere outside under the tent behind the building at night was very lovely and relaxed- and much less noisy than street seating out front, and warmer than the air conditioning inside. It was also nice to have a parking spot at the back as well instead of being concerned about street parking. Fried calamari was a bit over cooked on the inside, but the crunchy fried exterior was nice and crispy. Caesar Salad had that great anchovie flavor without being too overwhelming or overpowering. We asked to add tomatoes and they obliged. Gnocchi Bolognese- portion will leave you with left overs, or will make a nice family style platter to pass around the table. Tomato flavor ragu with meat sauce. Gnocchi cooked perfectly to be evenly chewy throughout without any raw parts. read more

Our party of six dined Saturday evening at Quattro Pazzi and although the food and service were very good, the noise level was deafening with a large negative impact on our overall experience. The place had a very upbeat atmosphere that everyone seemed to enjoy. I'll definitely be returning. This is a struggle but I move it up from a 3 1/2 to a 4 based on great gluten-free options for my wife and great company from Juan the bus person. ENTRANCE - it was early on a Saturday and we were not greeted immediately. The hostess finally saw us and we were seated outside promptly. WAITER - finally came by and provided the menu. Asked if we wanted agua and bread. We ordered some spring water and vino. By the way the spring water is a must try. ENTREES - I tried the egg plant stack. Which was not a stack per say. The cheese was great and top drawer. The egg plant were large slices not a stack at all. The sauce had a bit of a sweet taste as if sugar was added but don't quote me on that. Decent overall. BUS SERVICE - Juan was so engaging and so professional and so attentive - it blew me away. He should be promoted to a waiter. VINO - stock Cabernet was nothing to write home about but average albeit pricy per glass. ENTREES - my wife had the gluten-free chicken parm with penne pasta that she liked a lot. Even took some home - LOL I ordered the chicken and spinach dish which to my chagrin was a bit over cooked so the chicken breast was a bit dry. The sauce however was tasty DESERT - wife had the red velvet gluten-free cake with cream cheese and whipped cream on the side that she loved COFFEE - I had a double espresso with BLACK sambucca (they actually had it). But came with no lemon slice. PRICE/VALUE - this is in the eye of the beholder. For 2 people a few drinks tax and tip our bank was hit for $165. I've always enjoyed this restaurant, but I don't eat pasta, so we stopped going 15 years ago. My friend wanted to go for her birthday with everyone (12). She was able to get a reservation, which really helped. I remember waiting a long time for a table when we used to come. The service was great and the drink were strong. Always makes for a great time! We ordered the fried calamari and I was told it wasn't hot and a little hard. They have a gluten free section on the menu, which was perfect for me. I ordered the salmon with spinach and it was delicious. It did take a long time to get it and I was starving. My table mates didn't all arrive at the same time and order at the same time, so that could be the reason for the delay. There was a mistake with the credit card charges at the end, but they fixed it immediately. I would go back again, just for the salmon. read more

Quattro Pazzi is a gluten free persons dream come true! In edition to their regular menu, they have a huge selection of gluten free options! You won't get bored with this menu, there's so much to come back and try! While dining in I was able to get my Chicken Sophia Loren dish, which is typically sautéed chicken, as breaded chicken cutlet (because how could I not take advantage of getting gluten free breaded chicken?!). The dish was absolutely amazing and my friend loved her food as a well! The following week I returned for takeout out to get the lemon chicken with broccoli. That did run me around $30 which I feel was a bit overpriced, but as far as taste was concerned it was very good and the broccoli was cooked perfect! Abysmal Italian food in Fairfield. Nothing tasted above food-court level - not the bread (tasteless), the olive oil (tasted like Canola), coffee (stale and burned), the Pasta E Fagioli soup (pasta e oily is more like it), or the offensively bad "Kicked Up Chicken Milanese" (breaded chicken breast with proscuitto and what they claimed were burrata (white creamy nothing), pesto (green nothing), and arugula salad (some sprigs of baby arugula like what you'd get in a plastic container at a supermarket). If you want to know what it would be like to get COVID and lose your sense of taste, eat here first, and then you'll be inspired to wear a mask in public. Saving grace is that their prices are reasonable for what you'd get if you were getting food that tasted like anything: the prices match the atmosphere and the town. read more

I had shrimp scampi but there was no scampi just broth...the fried calamari had no taste and the garlic bread doesn't even taste like garlic bread. The chicken franchaise had no taste and probably the worst i've ever had. Looks like a nice place so i'm just really confused why there was no flavor to anything. I must have picked the 'bad dish' on the menu: Eggplant Parmigiana was just bad, tasteless, totally uninteresting. While the other dishes (mostly pasta) ranged between nice and great, I either was unlucky or it is just the way the cook prepares it that is not my taste. Went to this restaurant for our anniversary and all went great. We made a res and ushered right in. Menu is complete in terms of Italian dishes and our meals were terrific. Veal Sorentina and Spicy Chicken scallopini prepared perfectly. It's always nice to find a surprise during a meal and such a surprise arrive on our side of spaghetti. The sauce was a simple tangy tomato base that we loved. Our waitress was warm and friendly and made sure all was as ordered. It's a relatively small and a bit noisy, metal tables are used so if a table clothes was provided it would tamp down on the acoustics. read more

My experience here was odd and the staff was unorganized. I had multiple servers throughout the night taking my orders and my husband and I were never given utensils. The food, however, was very good and I ordered the Quattro Salas, which was different and amazing. I also ordered the meatballs and spaghetti and liked it but the meatballs were very mini. However, last night I ordered cappellini with vegetables, because the picture looked pretty appealing. I understand that you don't always get what the picture shows. But tell me why my order looked drastically different from the photo. My pasta was very flavorless and bland. It was just noodles in oil with vegetables. No pesto, as the description promised. On a covid related note, the outdoor tables were barely spaced out. The servers and employees at the restaurants were wearing masks, which is great. Went here for dinner on 12/22/22. It was about 7PM and place was busy. We ordered a Caeser salad, Chicken Sofia Loren, and a Spicy Chicken Calabrasee. The salad was good...hard to hurt this type of salad. Sofia Loren was very bland, 2 cutlets were accompanied by a dollop of sautéed spinach...could've made this at home in my air fryer. The Spicy Chicken...not so spicy...2 cutlets accompanied by some sautéed mushrooms and peppers. The mains were not impressive and, for $27 each, a little pasta on the side would have been nice. Instead this was not a memorable meal (I chose this as my birthday dinner) and would have been more satisfied going across the street to the Italian Kitchen. read more
