The parking was tight, the beds were small , the breakfast looked good but I never had it . I'd stay here again , not too bad but not anything spectacular. A little pricey compared to hotels in this range .

I stayed at this hotel for the first time. Here's my honest opinion. Pros: Staff speak English and are very professional and extremely nice and helpful. The location feels safe with a security in the front. There are many restaurants around and child friendly. The medical hospital is right next door. Its proximity to the downtown area makes it desirable. 24/7 room services if needed. Water pressure was amazing and the water turns hot very fast. Very large pool on the 4th floor opens at 10:00AM. Complimentary delicious breakfast with multiple options to pick from. Spa services are amazing and totally worth the price. Several stores nearby. Cons: The room wasn't as tidy, i found trash on the side of the table left by the previous guests. Overall 5 stars for safety, professionalism, modern rooms. I don't like to complain so I cleaned the room myself. I understand the cleaning crew may not be able to clean every room spotless. These employees work really hard. I would for sure stay there again.

Those that have been following my Yelp adventures know in which hotel I stay when spending a weekend in baja. But whenever I need to switch things up, I opt to make reservations at Quartz Hotel and Spa. I first stayed here two years ago, and I upgraded to the room with a jacuzzi, which sat on the same level as the pool. The jacuzzi is best for two people max, and it is a great place to relax along with some red wine and a char cutlery board. The room is spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed is comfy, we got a very good night sleep. The room service is decent. It runs 24/7, which is very much appreciated. The burger from room service is decent, as is the char cutlery board. We got the wine from Valle de Guadalupe, so I can't speak for the wine in stock here. There is a sleek and modern shopping plaza adjacent to the hotel, and they share a parking structure. The pool is of decent size, although I haven't swam there yet. They have a spa and a gym, images and reviews for those will come in a future date. The staff here is attentive, on point, and quick to resolve any issues. They made us feel right at home, and guided us well. I recommend this hotel, it makes for a great stay.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS HOTEL! AMAZING STAFF, SAFE, AND BY SO MANY CUTE PLACES TO EAT! Customer service: 5/5 The staff here is just so nice, and of course welcoming. They all know pretty great English, and seem rather happy to assist! For some odd reason there is a big bowl of apples in the front that caught my eye, haha. They asked me if I wanted one as they got me a key to my room :) The rooms: 5/5 The rooms are beautiful! Super clean, nice robes, beautiful slippers, and really nice views. The water was hot in the shower, and the lighting was really nice. They could use more TV channels though! Haha Price: 4/5$$$$ Well, it's expensive. Period. Haha Per night it's about $300.00 USD. It's rather convenient to wonder off to have some fun; there are so many things/ places around. There's a big chess board outside, lots of nice places to eat/ walkable, and the restaurants are AMAZING. All around: 5/5 I'd come back here again for sure. Maybe with a cheaper rate if possible, haha.

Pretty delicious food and really beautiful building to stay. I would recommend it for sure.

Beautiful place! Friendly service and amazing rooms. Very beautiful property. The breakfast was excellent for being complimentary and waiter Alejandro was so nice. My only downfall was the jacuzzi was full of kids so we couldn't enjoy a relaxing evening. I love that there was restaurants below so we didn't have to leave the property. I would definitely come back.

My Favorite Hotel - My Go-To Spot! I've stayed at this hotel at least five times, and it has officially become my go-to place. There are so many reasons why I love it: * Convenience: They offer a shuttle from the border for only $6. This is a huge stress reliever since I don't like driving across due to traffic, scams, confusing directions, and extra insurance costs. Walking across and hopping on their shuttle is so much easier. * Breakfast: Instead of a typical buffet, they serve a made-to-order breakfast that's fresh and delicious. They even include their own bakery's pan dulce, baked daily, which is complimentary with breakfast. * Transportation: Uber rides to nearby restaurants average only about $5, making it super affordable to get around. * Gym & Spa: The gym is the largest and most complete I've ever seen in a hotel. They have everything--from free weights to machines like lat pulldown and hip abductor. The spa is right next to it, and the whole area smells amazing. I'm excited to try the spa today! * Pool & Atmosphere: The pool area feels like a resort, perfect for relaxing. The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and beautifully maintained. * Dining & Nearby Options: There are plenty of restaurants near the lobby, plus a 7-Eleven downstairs. Across the street, you'll find a fresh tortilla shop, a grocery store, and even a candy store. Overall, this hotel combines convenience, comfort, and luxury in one place. Between the shuttle, the incredible gym, the resort-style pool, and the fresh bakery treats, it's hard to beat. I can't wait for my next stay!

This is my 1st time here at this hotel and I'm glad that I made that choice. It's not far from the border. It's very modern and clean. Nice beds, comfortable and cozy rooms. There are a few restaurants downstairs and I loved the service and the food served each morning. Really loved the egg white omelette w/ spinach! There's a Taco place across the street and also a Ley supermarket for your personal snacks and needs. There's a gym with lots of equipment and good view of the street. There's a pool but it was too cold to go in it! Prices were very reasonable. About 150USD a night for the weekend stay. It's conveniently located for Uber and taxis. I will be staying here my next time in town!

I must say I'm impressed. I normally choose big hotel chains but this one was included in a medical package. The staff at checkin was nice and thorough even with slight language issues. The bell staff was quick on the draw with gathering luggage and carting it for easy transport. The food in the hotel is decent as well. Nothing gourmet but very good. Visited the spa for a deep tissue massage. Needs a lot more pressure to be considered deep tissue but a nice relaxing massage nonetheless. The sauna inside the spa heats up quickly and was a nice finishing touch up the massage. Steam room would have been heavenly but I won't push it. The gardens near the pool got most of my time. Very relaxing spot, beautifully maintained with ambient music.

Hotel check in was easy and the many lovely amenities were very well explained. The staff member checking us in even asked what my pronouns were! I don't get that level of kindness most of the time from anyone in Los Angeles. The room is clean and comfortable. They were even so kind as to accommodate clean mini fridge for our food items. I called two weeks ago requesting a mini fridge and it was in the notes for our reservation. They realized this after we checked in and had a bellhop, a very kind gentleman named Fernando who had helped us with our bags earlier, personally carry the whole mini fridge up to our room and install it. The hotel has complimentary WiFi that's not password protected so I made sure to keep my VPN on because I'm neurotic like that. One thing I will report is that I couldn't find a wall port to plug in an ethernet cable in the room to set up my TP-Link Travel Router. Not a big deal at all because I'm probably the only person who would try to do something like that while on vacay anyway. Long story short, this place is probably the nicest hotel my wife and I have stayed at in our 13 years together. I slept like a baby on night one, and I look forward to the rest of our stay here. Thanks for the excellent experience!

They have traditional Mexican food which is outstanding and they also have great American food. We love their pancakes and eggs. Their tacos are great as is any fish dish. They have bottled water in the room, which is a must. Do not drink tap water anywhere in Tijuana. The location is great. It is within easy walking to many fun spots, including shopping. The rooms are super clean and although it can get loud outside, the inside is quiet and comfortable. It even smells great. You will love it. Have fun.

Prices have doubled since coming here first. Points went from 5k to 8k- please don't up it any more :). Guest profile has changed and with it more English speaking staff. US workers in scrubs moonlighting on the weekend, patients over from US for medical procedures, catering to this new clientele has made this hotel busier and a little more pricey than before. I wonder how they will compete when the Westin opens right next door? Location is truly perfect, it's an easy drive from the U.S. made easier now with the hotel and gastronomy zone signs as you cross the San Ysidro border. The hotel offers covered, gated underground parking for your car. It feels secure and I've never had any issues or incidents (touch wood) ever. Breakfast is included with your stay and has improved over the years, not that it was ever bad, they just offer a much larger and quality selection than before and restock often, again being more busy I imagine helps with that. Staff are always great , very helpful, and bilingual. If the bar ever looks unattended it's because they often double at reception. Just look to the front desk for assistance. For a Hyatt place - it's one of the best - that's why we keep coming back, better than the San Diego counterparts. Adrian, at the breakfast station is our favorite staff member. He's always so helpful, attentive and he deserves a shout out. I would love if they made Pozole on Saturday mornings - but alas it's a Sunday morning treat. Having it on Saturday too would be the icing on the cake. Something to work on: I enjoy a late checkout and appreciate not being disturbed. Do not disturb sign on the door doesn't mean they won't knock, or try to come in. Housekeeping should observe this request, even if they are being nice and checking to see if you need more towels. If you like clean, they are obsessively clean - occasionally the chemicals bother me in the lobby but I appreciate their attention to cleanliness. Overall solid 4 star rating.

The team was clearly hustling with the crowd, but they still delivered excellent service. Got upgraded to a Junior Suite on the ninth floor for a small price difference--worth it! The suite was a step up from the standard room with better views, a faster WiFi connection, and extra toiletries like a shaving kit, shoe polish, and more. Plus, they had a Samsung smart TV, which should honestly be standard in all hotels. Check-out is a breeze at noon--just drop the keys in the box, and you're good. Loved the bag check service, so I could explore without dragging my stuff around. Ordered the Original Burger with skinny fries from room service--delicious, but it came wrapped in plastic (I get it, but still). I cannot begin to express how disgusted and disappointed I am with my stay at the Real Inn Tijuana…read more I am honestly shocked that this is the standard of accommodation you are comfortable providing to paying guests. From the moment I entered the hotel, there was an overwhelming sewage/fecal odor. I am not talking about a mildly unpleasant smell--the hotel smelled as though there were an actual sewer problem. It was absolutely nauseating and completely unacceptable for any hotel, particularly one presenting itself as an upscale property. Then I discovered that I cannot even find appropriate English-language television programming in my room. Tijuana receives a tremendous number of international and American visitors. Does Real Inn not want or anticipate guests from outside Mexico? If you actively market your hotel to international travelers, providing reasonable accommodations for guests who do not speak Spanish should be expected. I booked and paid for two nights, but after experiencing the conditions here, I do not want to remain for the second night. I am willing to pay for the night I have already stayed, but I am requesting that my second, unused night be canceled and refunded without penalty. I would like this brought directly to the attention of Alma Mercado, General Manager, or another senior manager with the authority to resolve this. I am requesting a prompt response and a reasonable resolution rather than being forced to remain in accommodations that I find unacceptable. I would appreciate someone from management contacting me as soon as possible.
