Great location. Close to the airport. K Tower is part of the Lucerna Hotel. The sushi bar and restaurant are located on the roof top. The mango roll and avocado roll are the best. Drinks are delicious, but light on the alcohol.

Not sure where to start, let me put it this way, K tower is a Home close to home for me and my best friend, every time we have a hectic week in US, we prefer to come rent one of the beautiful luxury rooms here in K tower and relax and enjoy our weekends. the best way to describe would be, you have five star luxury staying for the fraction of the prize what you would pay back in the US, The service is excellent, The rooms are absolutely immaculate, The concierge to the Front desk, the restaurant the pool the bars the sushi bar, The decor, all and everything is near to perfect. All I can say is, José kabene and his team have taken luxury living to a different level, I can say this with confidence, K tower is a crown jewel luxury hotels in all of Tijuana, We highly recommend the hotel and will be back Time and again sooner than later, Excellent job K Tower and the team!

Seemed pretty new and very clean.

Very quiet in my room (3rd floor). Everything seemed new and very clean. The bed is a little on the hard side. And the pillows are down and compress quite a bit. The staff was attentive and excellent and helpful every time I needed something. I wish they had a coffee maker for hot water in the room, but they were more than happy to oblige down at the front desk any time I needed hot water in my thermos. Rooftop pool area was lovely (although quite cold). Jacuzzi was tepid.

I had to work in Tijuana so I got to stay in the K Tower. I usually stay at Lucerna (same property) but wow K Tower is so different! The attention you get is great. The rooms are super nice and right when you walk in it smells great. The bar at the top of the tower is awesome as well. We always do the breakfast downstairs and it never disappoints. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and I highly recommend it.

It was the end of October, and a weekend away was overdue. So we decided to head down to Baja. After considering our many options, we decided on K Tower. We got to TJ pretty late, and weren't able to check into the hotel until almost 3 in the morning. We crossed the border, expecting to the grilled by authorities on either side of the border. But much to out surprise, we were basically waved by. Once we navigated to Zona Rio, we found our way to this great hotel. Parking was no issue at all. We walked in, and were guided toward the K Tower. Once there, the lady at the front desk was quick to check us in. She was very friendly and professional, and we had a short chat while she processed all the paperwork. After an elevator ride up and a walk down the hallway, and we were in our room. On the walk there, I noticed how nice this place smells. I don't know what fragrance they use, but it added to the great experience. Our room definitely impressed us. It was nicely decorated and immaculately clean. The balcony had a nice view of the pool below and the surrounding area. We braved the chilly weather to enjoy this serene view for a little bit. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities made it all worthwhile. We had a good nights sleep, and an even better morning. We got room service. The food was amazing, as was the coffee. After getting done eating, we cleaned up and headed out. Checkout was seamless. We turned in our room keys at the front desk, and the staff said that they would email me my receipts. And with that, we carried on our weekend away. We were impressed by the quality of this hotel. My sole regret was that we didn't checkout the rooftop lounge, which has a pool, a bar, and nice views of the city. But we will be back, as this place gave us every reason to return!

stayed here on a Sunday (07/04/2021). excellent hotel staff as usual. a few issues: -waiters on the roof top are not that tentative for customers at the jacuzzi area, takes awhile to get their attention for service. expect patience. -jacuzzi is never hot. warm to luke warm the last few times i have stayed. overall, i like the style and cleanliness of the hotel. i also like the no kids policy and a fair price for what you get at the hotel. fix the issues and it would be 5 stars all day.

We enjoyed our stay at this place back in October 1017. The decor is beautiful, the bed is comfortable and the service was pretty good! Jaime the concierge was warm, welcoming and helpful! My only suggestion is that it would be great to see a vegan friendly option. Vegan sushi ain't hard- Avocado, tofu and a few other veggies & you are good to go! Unfortunately my husband and I couldn't eat at the restaurant, we went to Inspiracion 9 which is around 10 min driving distance. Something for management to think about, specially if you are hosting an international community from different cultural / religious backgrounds that don't necessarily eat animal products.

I am rewriting this review from a 2023 visit…read more We had this trip planned for weeks to celebrate my man's birthday in June, so our expectations were high. We booked a hotel stay for two nights. I reserved one room directly through the Lucerna website and he booked two additional rooms through Expedia. Unfortunately, both bookings were charged a night's stay in advance, even though Expedia was not supposed to charge anything until check-in. At check-in, the staff at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The bellman was especially kind and was going along with our jokes-- he was honestly the best part of our stay. From there, things quickly went downhill. Our key cards stopped working on several occasions, requiring multiple trips back down to the front desk to have them reactivated. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning did not work in any of the rooms. We called the front desk several times, but no one ever answered -- the phone just rang and rang. That night, we were forced to sleep with the balcony doors open, which resulted in mosquitoes and flies coming into the room. Because we couldn't reach anyone, we also weren't able to order room service. Again, the phone rang endlessly with no answer, so we ended up ordering Domino's from across the street. We spent time at the pool while the kids swam. The area itself was very nice and inviting, but the pool was dirty, with leaves and debris floating in the water. We asked a security guard if servers came out to the pool area. He initially said yes and went to call someone. After waiting about 15 minutes, we asked again and he then mentioned that pool service is only available during the summer -- something that would have been helpful to know upfront. We ended up going inside the bar to order drinks and carried them back out ourselves. About 30 minutes later, staff came out to clean up the pool That same day, we followed up again about the AC. The front desk told us maintenance had already taken care of it the day before, which was not true -- no one had come and the rooms were still hot and humid. Eventually, someone did come to check both rooms, but nothing was fixed. This is supposed to be a luxury hotel, yet the experience did not reflect that at all. It is extremely overpriced for the quality of service and the number of issues we encountered across all three rooms. We paid over $250 per night, stayed for two nights and booked three rooms, only to leave feeling extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this Lucerna location. I gave it 1 star only because we made the stay fun, despite all the flaws and disappointments. And the interaction with the bellman really made a difference.

The pool bar is wonderful and other than the flights going overhead fairly regularly it is a nice spot to relax. The zen garden is beautiful as well. If you are a light sleeper I encourage you to ask for the garden side of the building. I also LOVE that a window opens and you can get fresh air! The location feels safe with a security in the front. There are many restaurants around and child friendly. The medical hospital is right next door. Its proximity to the downtown area makes it desirable. 24/7 room services if needed. Water pressure was amazing and the water turns hot very fast. Very large pool on the 4th floor opens at 10:00AM. Complimentary delicious breakfast with multiple options to pick from. Spa services are amazing and totally worth the price. Several stores nearby. Cons: The room wasn't as tidy, i found trash on the side of the table left by the previous guests. Overall 5 stars for safety, professionalism, modern rooms. I don't like to complain so I cleaned the room myself. I understand the cleaning crew may not be able to clean every room spotless. These employees work really hard. I would for sure stay there again.

Prices have doubled since coming here first. Points went from 5k to 8k- please don't up it any more :). Guest profile has changed and with it more English speaking staff. US workers in scrubs moonlighting on the weekend, patients over from US for medical procedures, catering to this new clientele has made this hotel busier and a little more pricey than before. I wonder how they will compete when the Westin opens right next door? Location is truly perfect, it's an easy drive from the U.S. made easier now with the hotel and gastronomy zone signs as you cross the San Ysidro border. The hotel offers covered, gated underground parking for your car. It feels secure and I've never had any issues or incidents (touch wood) ever. Breakfast is included with your stay and has improved over the years, not that it was ever bad, they just offer a much larger and quality selection than before and restock often, again being more busy I imagine helps with that. Staff are always great , very helpful, and bilingual. If the bar ever looks unattended it's because they often double at reception. Just look to the front desk for assistance. For a Hyatt place - it's one of the best - that's why we keep coming back, better than the San Diego counterparts. Adrian, at the breakfast station is our favorite staff member. He's always so helpful, attentive and he deserves a shout out. I would love if they made Pozole on Saturday mornings - but alas it's a Sunday morning treat. Having it on Saturday too would be the icing on the cake. Something to work on: I enjoy a late checkout and appreciate not being disturbed. Do not disturb sign on the door doesn't mean they won't knock, or try to come in. Housekeeping should observe this request, even if they are being nice and checking to see if you need more towels. If you like clean, they are obsessively clean - occasionally the chemicals bother me in the lobby but I appreciate their attention to cleanliness. Overall solid 4 star rating.
