I will start by saying that I have been using Advanced Heating & Cooling for HVAC installation &…read moreservice at multiple properties for many years. Up until Monday, I have experienced as their website claims: "outstanding customer service that has been our hallmark for the past 25 years." Helen is the absolute best! After receiving a $150 bill for a 20 min service repair to clean a flame sensor rod at 4:30 pm last Friday, I requested a conversation with the CEO to negotiate a more reasonable price, and to discuss his policy about my furnace's full warranty only applying if I purchased the yearly service check at the cost of $89/yr, which I didn't find out about until after installation. I experienced an even bigger disappointment with the phone call response to my concern about the high cost for such a simple repair to detect & fix that I watched the tech perform. A full furnace cleaning and tune-up is $70. Mike D'Andrea was argumentative, demeaning and outright arrogant in response to my complaint - He tried to use every sales technique in the book to justify the supposed value I received despite my continual objection - including reference to an article about "firing your customers." He insisted that the HVAC industry sets the standard for fair prices and perceived value, despite what the local market demands. He continually tried to "educate" me with sales pitches about "flat rate price formulary books" that provide powerful sales tools to increase profit margins with higher service invoices using opaque mark-ups. This practice is outlined in "Setting Your Flat-Rate Prices" by Charlie Greer who touts that he helps "contractors become Millionaires every day" on www.hvacprofitboosters.com. Despite 'Flat Rate' business model promises of incredible profit margins, reduced costs, simplified accounting, etc.--the savings don't seem to be shared with repeat customers. It's a deceptive make-money-quick scheme designed to cover up an outrageous marked-up hourly rate. Buyer beware--itemized invoices are segregated in order to protect the consumer from unfair billing and up-charges by the service provider. Enlightening responses to consumer complaints about Flat-Rate Pricing practices can be found on Angie's List. I definitely will be taking future business to a company committed to making a good faith effort to resolve consumer complaints. Lesson learned.

I've worked with Wise Home Energy for years, and they are excellent. I'm the kind of person who…read moreusually does things myself. When the job is too difficult, I call Ryan at Wise. Over the years, I've welcomed them in to my home to: - Install a new hot water heater. - Install an Aprilaire furnace humidifie - Airseal my home - Reinsulate my whole attic - Repair a leaking gas line - Fixed a rusting line connected to the hot water heater they installed over 5 years after the install... for free. These guys do a great job every time, always honor their quotes, arrive on time, and complete the work on schedule. They're also very polite, and while doing the job they just completed for me, arrived in masks and followed COVID protocols. I've had Ryan, Mike, Tom, and Jamie all perform work and/or inspections for me, and I have recommended them to friends and neighbors. Would do so again any time.

After 20 years, we've decided to sell our house and downsize. One thing requested by the new buyer,…read morewas that we have the furnace cleaned and serviced. We looked at several companies that provide these services and decided to try Wise Home Energy. The team of Mike and Tom arrived on time and ready for work. The van they work out of was fully equipped for just about any issue that might arise. They went right to work on our furnace and let me stand by and watch. These gents really know their business. They made a complete inspection and gave our furnace a thorough cleaning. Connections and contacts were checked for operation, as was the blower and heat exchanger. After checking the thermostat for operation, they also made sure there were no gas leaks. I admit that I wasn't as conscientious as I might have been, by having the furnace serviced yearly. However, with the price as reasonable as Wise charges, I would definitely have it serviced yearly. Stop for a moment and consider how much you count on your furnace. Mike and Tom were both friendly and outgoing. I appreciated the fact that they let me "look over their shoulders". They explained things as they went along and were very thorough in their inspection and cleaning. I am very pleased with the service that Wise Home Energy provided. If I were staying in this house, I would definitely call on Wise for my heating and air conditioning service. Give them a call, you surely won't be sorry.

They are an excellent company that truly cares about their customers and does outstanding work. My air conditioner broke down so I called Huether Heating And Cooling . They had previously serviced my air conditioner twice, and stood out to me was that they never once pressured me into buying a new air conditioner or furnace. They were honest, professional, and simply fix what needed to be fixed. This time, unfortunately my air conditioner could no longer be repaired, and my furnace was also about 40 years old. lasted incredibly long time. After my options, I decided to go with HUETHER Heating And Cooling and I'm so glad I did. The men who came to my home were wonderful. They were clean, organized, respectful, kind, and very professional they did a fabulous job, and everything is working so well I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. What really made my decision to choose Huether was the honesty integrity they had shown me over the years in the past, they never tried to sell me something I didn't need. honesty is hard to find and it means a lot. I highly recommend to everyone and a special thank you to Owner John Huether. thank you Huether Heating And Cooling for your excellent service and for treating your customers with honesty, kindness, and respect. My 90 year old grandfather told me, "call Huether." They have been so fair and trustworthy. They repaired the heat last year for $270 and replaced the entire boiler this year for less than HALF what Isaac tried to scam me out of last year. Not just that, but from the time my boiler died to the time I had heat back was just SIX DAYS. You can tell it's family run. Just awesome, salt of the earth, quality, non-scammers.
