Crossfield was very helpful and professional in helping me choose the best furnace for my home. They had been servicing my last furnace for years. I chose a furnace and signed a contract to have the new furnace installed on February 6th, 2025. I was visiting my mother in Florida when I received a notification, on January 15th, from my home temperature monitor that my home was down to 55 degrees. I had set the thermostat to hold at 60 degrees while I was gone. The outside temperatures were FRIGID! I called Crossfield at 7:30pm and they dispatched a service rep to my house. He arrived by 9pm! The service rep arrived and I let him into my house remotely. The rep called me and told me that the control board was dead and couldn't be fixed. (BTW, there was no charge for the service call!) I was frantic, as no one was home and my house temperature was dropping quickly. I called my Crossfield sales rep, Jordan Collichio, and informed him of my situation. He called me back and told me that he could have the new furnace installed the next morning. Three Crossfield employees (Rob L., Brian L. and Harry D.) arrived promptly the next morning. They contacted me and I opened my door remotely. They installed the furnace and kept in touch with me to keep me up with their progress. When the installation was complete, they contacted me and together we set up the new thermostat so I could monitor and control the furnace remotely, from Florida, until I returned home on January 18th. I can not say enough about the professionalism and how they went out of their way to get my furnace installed the next morning, saving my home from the freezing weather. When I got home, everything was in order and the job was done meticulously. 5++ stars for Crossfield. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of service or new equipment! read more

First off,Kudos to your entire team! Our furnace quit on a wednesday night. I called at 8an thursday morning.The technician (Jason?) was at the house within 15minuits. He spent almost an hour on the old furnace & we decided that it wasn't worth putting money in a fix that may or may not be the entire problem.He called the office and the salesman (Corey) was at the house within the hour., He spent about an hour,explaining all our options, rebates,sales,incentives etc. We settled on a Trane S9V2 which after discussion became Very affordable (again to my surprise).Another office call and they had new furnace in stock & could be installed the next day.(Fri). Installers would be here by 8:30am.He called again to say he found Another rebate,No Brainer. Installer showed at 8:10am and started right away.After explaining what to expect,they were off!! Brian and Corey were Overlly clean.answered all our questions etc.The Old furnace was out within the hour. The new was up and running including a quick lesson on the furnace and thermostat by 2:00pm. Warmed the house up within a 1/2 hr. Brain and Corey did a fantastic job!! Crossfield sent a team of four to install a new Trane hi-efficiency Furnace, A/C, T'Stat, Humidifier, Air Filter, and Hot Water Heater. The team of Harry D., Rob S., Rob L., and Mike S. did a phenomenal job. They all worked together like a NASCAR pit crew with each one having specific tasks that were perfectly executed. The whole time they were here they shared friendly banter and were constantly busy. When the job was complete they went over the entire system with me and answered all of my questions from T'Stat function to furnace/AC operation to filter changes . They performed a system quality check and tuning right in front of me. Then we went over an installation checklist, invoice, and warranty. They were able to process my credit card right there on the spot while the rest of the crew was cleaning up my basement and loading all the old equipment into their trucks for disposal. Being a retired engineer I looked over the entire system right down to the wire ties and I can tell you this was a very clean and professional installation. I couldn't be happier and know I made the right choice in choosing Crossfield. My hats off to them for running a well oiled machine. We live in a split-level home with baseboard water heat. We have no air conditioning, and no ducting to support it. Crossfield helped us identify a solution to cooling (and providing supplemental heat) to the lower and middle levels of our home through a split-duct system that includes a ceiling cassette that fit in between the joists of the attic above out dining room/kitchen. The result is a quiet way to air condition our home instead of the wind tunnel we've had going over the last 15+ summers. It won't be until next June-August that we really get to push the system, but it appears to do exactly what we need without all of the noise of a window AC, the wind from fans to help blow it around the home, and we also don't need to have a split duct unit hanging off the wall or on the floor. Harry D. and Rob L. were great installers, conscientious of our property and attentive to the importance of making sure the unit was perfectly aligned in the ceiling with the adjacent walls. I had questions and they gave thoughtful answers. The same should be said of Jason D. and Jordan C., who made sure that what we purchased would work in our space according to our needs. Last week, we sat down with Corey, who explained options for heating, AC, hot water heater, and humidifier to us. After carefully going through choices and answering questions, Corey had an estimate emailed to us the same night. We planned to have the installation done in about 3 weeks time; Corey called and said he could get it done in 3 days! Yesterday, we had a Trane furnace with Aprilaire humidifier, AC, and AO Smith gas water heater installed. Mike S, Matt S, Bryan L, and Todd R. did a fantastic job! They arrived on time, placed drop cloths to protect floors and carpets, and completed the job efficiently and professionally. They took the time to explain the components of our new systems to us, including looking at the mechanics in the basement, explaining how the new thermostat works, and helping us install apps on our phones to control the thermostat remotely. Even the outside work looks great, as they leveled the AC unit and mulched around the new pad. Today, the AC unit ran quietly and efficiently and the temperature in our house has been so much better regulated than with the old unit. I had my semi annual service call one week ago. Fortunately, I had a young service man, Patrick, that was very personable, efficient, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and patient who found a hole in my heat exchange and explained the dangers of not rectifying the situation. The first installation went as smooth as can be. Loved the XV90 system and had really no problems for the 22 years of ownership. So good product and really no need for followup service. Finally in 2026 called Crossfield for the first service call. Came promply and it was determined that the furnace had a repairble issue but because of the estimated repair cost and age of the system I decided to replace. The replacement installation went smoothly but a techniclal issue did emerge soon after. Because of the nature of the problem a few service calls were required to resolve through a warrantee repair. Through these call backs i realized how responsive, dependable and professional Crossfield really was. We just had our air conditioning unit replaced by Crossfield. It was an amazing process. Our air went out on Saturday of the Labor Day Weekend. We called for service feeling there no chance we'd see anyone for days. Twenty minutes later the service guy was at our house. Unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed without a large investment in spare parts so we decided to go new. By 7:30 that night we had our salesman Cory at our table and we were signed up for a new system. We were given this preferred service and sales response by our service agreement that allowed us to jump the line and get things before customers off the street. Now , by Thursday, Brian was at our house for the install. What a clean, quiet and smooth operation. Brian must have put in 10, 000 steps, from truck. To outside, to basement. He was always willing to answer questions on anything. In the end he walked us through everything and cleaned up so well we would have never known he was here. Great job! I work as a service technician for machine repair and I can tell you what good and bad service is. This place has service above the rest. I thought my furnace had seen it's last days when it cut out a couple years ago. They responded to my emergency call extremely fast and had me up and running without having to replace the furnace. Now I have them come out yearly to do routine maintenance (cleaning and adjusting). And, actually, it feels like it's running like new ever since. They are very courteous and friendly. They are extremely punctual. Their pricing is competitive. I've been doing service with them for a few years now, and I can tell you I'm not going anywhere else. They'll try to help you cut costs by looking for alternatives in any place possible. If you have an issue with them and let them know, they'll do whatever it takes to resolve the issue. My furnace was over 20 years old and my house had no air conditioning. With this and last year's summer it seems that the hot humid days are getting more frequent and lasting longer. So I called a couple companies for estimates to update my furnace with a more efficient unit and install central air. Corey from Crossfield did a great job walking me through some options and solutions. I ended up going with Crossfield because they are a TRANE dealer and that's the brand I really wanted; also I liked the way Corey explained things and put my mind at ease. They used a 4 man crew (one had to leave to help with something part way through) so Brian, Rob L. and Harry and got the job done in a single day. The Crossfield techs did a fabulous job with the replacement of our furnace, AC compressor, ducting and installation of dampers for the zone system. Our house is much more evenly heated now. Prior to the install Tim and Jason were out to assess what needed to be done and provided a quote with three distinct options. I feel they did an excellent job of explaining all the options, price points and pros and cons of each option. We made an informed decision, they ordered the equipment and began the install as soon as the equipment arrived. Justin and Tim W. were with us for 3 days and were friendly, worked efficiently and cleaned up well. They walked us through how the new system worked, instructed us on how to use the new thermostat and mobile app as well us helped set up our initial heating/cooling schedule. We had a new whole-house air conditioning unit installed. Eric arrived at the house early on the day promised. I took him to the basement and showed him the electrical panel box and the furnace. From that point on he always used the basement entrance. Eric was very attentive to the installation. I checked with him a few times during the day to be sure the job was progressing smoothly. All was well so I stayed out of his way. After a few hours he came into the house to give us registration papers and literature for the Trane unit. He also tried the thermostat to be sure the AC unit was responding properly. He cleaned the area and had the old unit taken away. Eric performed the install in a very professional and efficient manner. He was friendly when I asked questions but did not burden me with trivial updates. The Contractor that built my new house didn't bother to hook up any of the 3 bath fans in the house. It wasn't until a year after we moved in that I noticed it, so we had been exhausting warm moist air into the attic every time we showered. Not to mention the heat loss that was happening through the fans when they weren't running. I thought Crossfield installed the furnace, so I called them out to do the repairs and when they finished, told me there was no charge. We then went to the basement and they told me just by looking that they hadn't done the furnace and ductwork, they only did the A/C, but they still didn't charge me for 2 hours work! I can't say enough about how great the 2 workers were, but I can say I know who I'm calling any time I need service in the future. Our furnace stopped working and we called Crossfield based on previous positive experiences with them. They came right out with a reasonable service fee and when the part came back to be too costly for a 19 year old furnace we decided to go with a new one. The sales person Mark was very professional courteous and explained our options. We decided on the one best for our home and the next day we had a new furnace. The service fee from the prior day was deducted from the overall cost. Todd R. did our installation and he was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. I have used Crossfield HVAC services for years and have never been disappointed. Their estimates are thorough, the scheduling is sensible, and the finished results are outstanding. I recently decided to air condition my home and and was convinced that a Mitsubishi Mini-Split system made sense. My existing heating was a high efficiency gas condensing boiler which used radiators and thus had no A/C ductwork. The mini-split approach made the best sense. Bob L. and Brian L. were the technicians who did the installation and the results are top grade and excellent work. Their courtesy and professionalism was outstanding.
