After looking at our furnace and A/C, he told us both units were 18 yrs old -we've been in the house for 6 yrs, so fixing it was not cost effective and our unit was 80% efficiency. After we agreed on the appropriate size and high efficiency-we scheduled for next day install. They also said that a technician will be coming by later that day to install a portable A/C , at no cost to cool our bedroom for the evening as well as the next day during the install, which was an 8 hour job. Excellent service, professional from start to finish and followed up with us as promised. What also was a pleasant surprise is that they at no time try to sell us stuff we did not need. When finished, they walked me thru everything that was done, answered any questions I had and included a 1 year free check up/cleaning. Could not be more pleased. Love supporting our local businesses as well.

He was excellent--he cleaned the parts and stayed to make sure it stayed lit this time. Although he mentioned the fluctuating temperatures and winds were causing many customers this same problem. Not only did he ensure my membership waived the $159 Saturday service fee, but he also didn't charge me anything for his time or the work to get it fixed properly. What I appreciated most was that Adam took me down to the basement and showed me exactly how to relight the pilot myself so I can handle it on my own next time. I really value a company that stands by their work and takes the time to educate their customers!

I highly recommend Huether Heating And Cooling I want to let…read moreeveryone know what a wonderful experience I had with Huether Heating And Cooling Chili, New York. They are an excellent company that truly cares about their customers and does outstanding work. My air conditioner broke down so I called Huether Heating And Cooling . They had previously serviced my air conditioner twice, and stood out to me was that they never once pressured me into buying a new air conditioner or furnace. They were honest, professional, and simply fix what needed to be fixed. This time, unfortunately my air conditioner could no longer be repaired, and my furnace was also about 40 years old. lasted incredibly long time. After my options, I decided to go with HUETHER Heating And Cooling and I'm so glad I did. The men who came to my home were wonderful. They were clean, organized, respectful, kind, and very professional they did a fabulous job, and everything is working so well I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. What really made my decision to choose Huether was the honesty integrity they had shown me over the years in the past, they never tried to sell me something I didn't need. honesty is hard to find and it means a lot. I highly recommend to everyone and a special thank you to Owner John Huether. thank you Huether Heating And Cooling for your excellent service and for treating your customers with honesty, kindness, and respect. These dudes are the BEST…read more I called Isaac first because they were first on Google but their quote of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS minimum to replace the boiler, plus a $200 fee for them merely showing up to tell me this insane quote, was disgusting business. My 90 year old grandfather told me, "call Huether." They have been so fair and trustworthy. They repaired the heat last year for $270 and replaced the entire boiler this year for less than HALF what Isaac tried to scam me out of last year. Not just that, but from the time my boiler died to the time I had heat back was just SIX DAYS. You can tell it's family run. Just awesome, salt of the earth, quality, non-scammers.

Up until Monday, I have experienced as their website claims: "outstanding customer service that has been our hallmark for the past 25 years." Helen is the absolute best! After receiving a $150 bill for a 20 min service repair to clean a flame sensor rod at 4:30 pm last Friday, I requested a conversation with the CEO to negotiate a more reasonable price, and to discuss his policy about my furnace's full warranty only applying if I purchased the yearly service check at the cost of $89/yr, which I didn't find out about until after installation. I experienced an even bigger disappointment with the phone call response to my concern about the high cost for such a simple repair to detect & fix that I watched the tech perform. A full furnace cleaning and tune-up is $70. Mike D'Andrea was argumentative, demeaning and outright arrogant in response to my complaint - He tried to use every sales technique in the book to justify the supposed value I received despite my continual objection - including reference to an article about "firing your customers." He insisted that the HVAC industry sets the standard for fair prices and perceived value, despite what the local market demands. He continually tried to "educate" me with sales pitches about "flat rate price formulary books" that provide powerful sales tools to increase profit margins with higher service invoices using opaque mark-ups. This practice is outlined in "Setting Your Flat-Rate Prices" by Charlie Greer who touts that he helps "contractors become Millionaires every day" on www.hvacprofitboosters.com. Despite 'Flat Rate' business model promises of incredible profit margins, reduced costs, simplified accounting, etc.--the savings don't seem to be shared with repeat customers. It's a deceptive make-money-quick scheme designed to cover up an outrageous marked-up hourly rate. Buyer beware--itemized invoices are segregated in order to protect the consumer from unfair billing and up-charges by the service provider. Enlightening responses to consumer complaints about Flat-Rate Pricing practices can be found on Angie's List. I definitely will be taking future business to a company committed to making a good faith effort to resolve consumer complaints. Lesson learned.
