I highly recommend Huether Heating And Cooling I want to let…read moreeveryone know what a wonderful experience I had with Huether Heating And Cooling Chili, New York. They are an excellent company that truly cares about their customers and does outstanding work. My air conditioner broke down so I called Huether Heating And Cooling . They had previously serviced my air conditioner twice, and stood out to me was that they never once pressured me into buying a new air conditioner or furnace. They were honest, professional, and simply fix what needed to be fixed. This time, unfortunately my air conditioner could no longer be repaired, and my furnace was also about 40 years old. lasted incredibly long time. After my options, I decided to go with HUETHER Heating And Cooling and I'm so glad I did. The men who came to my home were wonderful. They were clean, organized, respectful, kind, and very professional they did a fabulous job, and everything is working so well I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. What really made my decision to choose Huether was the honesty integrity they had shown me over the years in the past, they never tried to sell me something I didn't need. honesty is hard to find and it means a lot. I highly recommend to everyone and a special thank you to Owner John Huether. thank you Huether Heating And Cooling for your excellent service and for treating your customers with honesty, kindness, and respect. My 90 year old grandfather told me, "call Huether." They have been so fair and trustworthy. They repaired the heat last year for $270 and replaced the entire boiler this year for less than HALF what Isaac tried to scam me out of last year. Not just that, but from the time my boiler died to the time I had heat back was just SIX DAYS. You can tell it's family run. Just awesome, salt of the earth, quality, non-scammers.

One of the upgrades required was a new furnace as the original one was on its last leg. I called for 3 different estimates and received offers from 2 companies, including Betlem. From the very beginning, it was obvious that Craig from Betlem knew and understood HVAC. Not only was he knowledgeable but he took the time to explain in detail what I needed and why. I had numerous questions, all of which he answered. He spent a good hour at my house walking me through the various options available. It took me only a few minutes to decide to go with Betlem based on Craig's vast knowledge and customer service. On installation day, Betlem showed up on time and did everything they said they were going to do (Installed furnace, installed new thermostat, extended the exhaust piping, installed a new pump for the whole house humidifier, etc.) When I examined the work it looked clean and professional. After a few hours, I noticed that some of the pvc work was leaking. I called Craig and he sent over a service team the next day. The piping simply needed some additional glue to secure the fittings. While Aaron was here, he also setup the system so the furnace would turn off if the pump ever failed. He could have charged me for this because it wasn't in the contract and never came up but he did it free of charge. If you want a professional job with a company that understands customer service, you've found the right place. Thank you to Craig, Gordon, Dave and Aaron for installing our new Lennox furnace. We couldn't be happier and we will be Betlem customers for life.

We researched online, talked to RG&E, called around and ultimately requested quotes for a replacement boiler from a couple of larger well-known companies (Betlem & Feldman) plus a couple of independent contractors who we trust. Mr. Feldman was able to come over the next day (this was end of October/early November) and evaluated the situation. He gave us a quote and my husband liked & trusted him. Mr. Feldman also offered financing (boilers are super expensive) if we wanted it at 3 months, 6 months or longer. We ultimately got 4 quotes for the boiler: 2 were more expensive than Feldman (including Betlem - which was thousands of dollars more, and an independent contractor who was only $100 more than Feldman) and the last one was $700 cheaper than Feldman (another independent contractor). My husband was tempted to go with the cheapest quote, but we discussed the pros/cons of going with an established local company for a large purchase vs. a contractor who we trusted but who is quite small and might be hard to get for any urgent issues that could arise. My husband called Mr. Feldman and they negotiated something in between the cheapest contractor and the original Feldman quote. I don't think Mr. Feldman was thrilled about our request to negotiate, but he made us a revised offer that we felt was fair and we took it. Mr. Feldman had his guy and an assistant come over and install the boiler before the end of the week. They were very prompt with the appointment and were nice to work with. They took their time and did a good job. We haven't had any issues with it since (it's only been a month or so) and the 6-month financing was helpful so we didn't have to lay out a ton of cash at once, especially right before the holidays. Mr. Feldman and his office staff were also quite nice and very prompt with all the necessary paperwork. Overall we felt good about the transaction. We have 2 other boilers that are also quite old in our rental units and we expect we will use Feldman again for them when the time comes.
