Great spot to grab a drink! Service 5/5 -The staff behind the bar is really friendly and welcoming and gives good recommendations!!! Ambiance -inside and outside it's beautiful. If you're in the mood for some fresh air the outside setting is nice but inside is also! Food/drinks -They have variety of beers and wines. And some food items to snack on. What really sets this place apart is how nice and welcoming they are!!! The staff is awesome! This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Been going to quail for the past year now they have the best beers available on tap and in can from all over always have the newest beers you can't find anywhere else I visit at least 2-3 times a week I can say I am a huge fan of this place Travis and Chris usually serve me the most and they're super chill super knowledgeable and I can crack jokes with them and relax here definitely a hidden gem of Temecula the rest of the staff I've met so far and are all pretty sweet here too I'm not the best with names but shout out to the whole quail crew! Definitely recommend 10/10 service and ambiance much love

Excellent service and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The whole place has a great vibe. They had tacos by Don Pancho's Taquiza, I ended up getting a quesadillas that were so good they were gone before I remembered to take a picture. The soccer game was on, the customers were friendly and the servers were engaging and attentive. They also have a small bites which is a nice bonus. We especially enjoyed the plant swap and the outdoor seating area. Between the food, the people and the atmosphere, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. The whole space is a vibe

This place in old town is a hidden gem. I came in with a friend to grab a drink and this place was perfect for that. We went in when it wasn't too busy yet. But as we stayed longer, it started to get busier. The bartender that served us was really nice and helpful in picking a good beer to drink. My friend likes pilsners and I like wheat beer and they definitely had both. There are small bites but we ended up getting chips and salsa. I was surprised by the price but then got a big container of salsa. It was a really nice and modern place to drink. I like the back room but my friend and I drank outside in the patio since it was a nice day. There is lots of seating outside for big groups, inside looks pretty small but has that extra back room. Overall, I would definitely come back and have another drink and hang out.

I'm so happy for Travis because he has his own spot now. Quail is such a cool little spot because the beers are very good, there's small bites like chips and salsa and charcuterie plates, the decor is simple and clean, and there's a covered patio. Parking is a little tight, but there is a secret parking lot. Oh, there's also live music on certain days, and they usually have food vendors on the weekends. Quail is not a brewery. It's more of a tap room because they have a lot of beers from breweries like Solaris, Pure Project, Burgeon, and one of my favorites Brouwerij West. There were not many people here, so the ambience was just not happening for me. The place is clean and moderns, with an additional living room like space to relax in the back. Stumbled in here today as it started pouring down rain outside. Great owners working here with a fantastic selection of local wines and beers. They definitely know their stuff and have a fantastic variety. They open at 1:00 on the weekends and while they don't have a restaurant, they have snacks and sometimes have food trucks to serve you. Amazing hidden gem in Temecula! A great selection of beer and I can't recommend the housemade chamoy enough. I got a watermelon tajin gose with chamoy (delicous!) and my friend got a hazy IPA which he liked. The bartender was super friendly and the space is cozy - feels like a true local spot. Came to the Soft Opening on Friday night, as I found out about this cute hipster bar via one of the owners of this place -during class @ the local Home Yoga Studio! The Grand Opening is actually this weekend (Sat 9/16-Sun 9/17), so this was a test run. Super success- as I could tell a crowd was bustling. My partner tried the craft beers, & I loved that they had wines from local favorites such as Akash Winery + Peltzer. Since they just opened, they don't have regular snacks/appetizers yet, but tonight they had sushi from another restaurant if you wanted to try some grub with your drinks. Beautiful artwork on the wall, and easy to walk up and order from the bar. We joined our fellow yogis on the patio & congratulated our friend for the soft opening success! There is also a back room that they will eventually create a more intimate space for those who want to gather away from the crowd. Indoor seating options also available when you walk in. I always love supporting local businesses, & it's exciting to see this from the inception; Can't wait to return & try other drink varietals. [PS- this isn't visible from Front Street. It's behind Small Barn & located in the same building with The Gambling Cowboy but to the left on the ground floor. It will be a well-kept secret until word gets out :) ] Also, they are kid and /or dog-friendly which is good to know, especially if you are in Old Town with your furry baby & want some quality sips. History

Established in 2023.

Quail’s story starts when Travis was managing a local brewery and Garth was peddling graphic design services to the craft beer industry. A friendship formed over good beer, shared music interests, and entrepreneurial fantasies. After months of research and planning to start a craft brewery were dashed by reality, the Temecula Valley Cheese Company abruptly shuttered its doors. A quick call followed by a lunch meeting set the wheels in motion. Keys were acquired on June 1, 2023, and the doors opened to the public on September 15 of the same year. As for the name — we get asked this question a lot. After shooting down several options, we landed on Quail and knew it was the one. Quail are abundant in the Temecula Valley, and the name captures the Old Town and Southern California vibe perfectly — welcoming, lively, and communal. We built Quail to be a place where friends gather, conversations flow, and everyone feels like a regular. We hope you enjoy Quail as much as we do.

Once our order was finally placed, the food arrived fairly quickly. Everything looked excellent, with great presentation and generous portions for the price. The loaded nachos were outstanding--perfectly balanced with cheese, shredded beef, and all the other toppings. You could tell the ingredients were high quality. The EB Burger also looked great. For a $20 burger, looked promising and came with a generous serving of crispy fries and a large pickle spear. Despite the disappointing service, I still left a standard tip. I also told her it was a shame because we live right around the corner and had been excited to try this place. We were hoping it could become our regular Friday-night spot and somewhere we could bring friends and neighbors who enjoy good food and drinks. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't think we'll be coming back.
