Lots of tables and friendly staff. Usually fairly busy so expect people. Fun time when I lived there years ago.

This is our second bad experience, and we felt it needed to be addressed. We're bartenders ourselves, so we understand the importance of good service. Unfortunately, the woman behind the bar was rude and dismissive again. We simply asked for kamikazes or purple Vikings--nothing unreasonable--but she made it feel like a burden. Her attitude was unwelcoming, and we couldn't help but wonder if it has something to do with us being Hispanic, as we've felt this kind of energy before here. Hospitality should be for everyone. Hope this gets taken seriously. read more

You save money cause the drinks are dirt cheap that is when you get served they have terrible i mean TERRIBLE Waitress/bartenders if I can leave zero stars I would to top it off they are very rude when ask how to get a drink since they don't bother acknowledging you. On multiple occasions i have taken disabled ppl to this bar and they constantly repeat terrible customer service; mouthy employees who openly take illegal drugs and take their anger out on customer's, they don't care about customer servicer, most of the employees treat the bar as their personal party and costumer service is at the least of their priority. highly do not recommend unless u like to be bitched at. One of our favorite Westside hangouts. Cold beer, simple menu, and any liquor you may want. Daily lunch specials and their ever popular BFD=Burger,fries and a draft for like $4.95. Lots of room, nice pool tables, and video games or darts if you want. It is cash only, but we love the staff and atmosphere. We've been going there 20 years and it never disappoints. This place is crazy intimidating for a casual player like me. That said, I have to mention the food and drink here is pretty solid. Fair prices for what you get and portion size is just right, bordering on larger than needed. If you go here bring your own gear and dress like you make 9k an hour so you look like you own the place. Maybe then you won't feel like you've just walked into the color of money. Honestly, it's a fun spot and I had a good time, don't compare yourself to the tourney players or you'll need a bottle of milk and a blankie. read more

My entire family has been coming to Q's for a few years now and we absolutely love the atmosphere and the bartenders are very charming. I've read some of the other Yelp reviews and those other people that were trashy have no idea what they are talking about. I went in here at around 2:30 in the afternoon because my BFF said they have the "BFD" which is the best deal and best burger ever. BFD stands for Burger, fries and a draft or dirink and the whole deal is $3.59, add .45 if you want cheese. Well my BFF had the BFD and I opted for a little bigger burger but it was about $6.00 and both were surprisingly delicious considering that we're sitting in a pool hall in the middle of the afternoon. The burgers were fresh, flavorful and well done, and so was my salad and the fries. The place was clean. I enjoyed every last bite. I mention this because a few weeks ago we went to Burger and Brew and the place was nasty and filthy, garbage all over the floors, dirty menus... Gross. But none of that here. Even the menus were clean. Now this is a bar and it's not suitable for kids. Really. But if you want a good burger and fries and a great deal, this is your place. We will be going back for sure. read more

"Ummm. Well, it apparently hasn't changed in over 30 years" says my fiancé. It was definitely an experience, I'll say that. When we got there, there was a lot of games. So that was cool, but the layout is a serious dive. Not a bad thing! However when we got there, we saw a couple very drunk people dance and yell; and the bartenders weren't giving a crap. When we got to the bar, the bartender came up to us pissed off and we felt like we were an inconvenience. I was afraid she was going to yell at me when I wanted to order a single beer. She even told us straight up, "kitchens closed!" without us even speaking a word. "Ohhhhhh okay....well can I just get a beer? " So, we get our beer and went to play pool. There were a lot of pool tables and that was a blast. 75¢ per play. Then at 11, it's free. After the first game, we hit up Taco Bell and brought the food back. As soon as we got back, we could see that both bartenders were suddenly....happy. Why the sudden change in attitude? Hmmmm could drinking be involved. I think so. Well, we left after a couple other games of pool, and it was fun all around, but the bartenders' attitude towards us at the beginning was a little upsetting...overall, it was a dive bar adventure. We will go back to play more pool eventually. read more

Came here to watch UFC after striking out at two chain bars that were too full or just didn't care to fill all of their seats, but wouldn't let us seat ourselves. We walked in and the bouncer saw us looking at the two UFC viewing areas that were set up (good amount of space, good quality screens and sound). He immediately asked if we needed a table, grabbed one from the corner, and helped us sit down and actually get to enjoy the night. The servers and bartenders were all friendly and quick. This is a great dive bar / pool hall. Thanks again for actually trying to help us have a good night! read more

Q's has become my favorite pool hall, bar none. I take advantage of the ample free pool days and times (M-TU-TH-F 11-2, 11-closing on Wednesdays). Billiards of Idaho sponsors several in-house leagues on weekday evenings. I always feel like I'm walking into Cheers because of the warm, friendly personal greeting. I don't get how it being 21 and over is a BAD thing... Anyway, I've been going to Q's for years and I really enjoy it. The service is great, staff has always been nice and friendly, and the food is surprisingly good. I'm trying to think if I HAVEN'T ordered food any of the visits after trying their food for the first time. They have a lot of pool tables (I want to say...10-13?), but even on the off-chance they are all occupied, they have PLENTY of dart boards and even some video games. They also have several TV's and a large seating area. The jukebox provides quite a bit of entertainment too. I was very tempted to give 5 stars, since my only real complaint is sometimes you'll get some "tipsy" people in your face, but I've always been able to defuse anything here by buying them a game of pool. Staff has also come by to make sure everything is fine. Still, these people are easily the minority, with most people I meet being just plain Fun. Wish I could give 4.9 stars. read more

After two trips and $30 in the jukebox I realized my money was being wasted because the security guard had been loading it up to push all the customers' music back far enough to never play. When I mentioned it to the bartender she said I couldn't get a refund and the security guard could do whatever he wanted but I could talk to the manager on Tuesday...though I was then told she would probably just kick me in the balls and not do anything for me. So my only recourse is to post here and let you know their staff's entertainment comes before their customers'. Enjoy! read more
