Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.

I ended up ordering a chicken chimichanga and an enchilada, and both were absolutely delicious--so good that I've already asked my friend if she wants to go back again tonight. We also ordered drinks, and those were just as enjoyable. The staff took great care of us, checking in and making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Overall, such a great experience and definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Tons of places to sit whether you're a small party or a big one. After the amazing discussions, I had with Carla and her husband, I was willing to purchase air from them! She offered advice, answered all of my questions about pool rules, and taught me a few things not only did I walk out with an amazing cue (thank you for the suggestions), but I purchased a table felt cleaner, some cue ball cleaner, and some pads for breaking to help protect your felt. I am not kidding, these two were amazing, and she even threw in some extras for me as well during my purchase including a book on playing pool. We were so excited when we found out that Corden was going to be our dj along with his assistant! Corden is such a talented and positive person and really cares about making your wedding day the best day ever, not only for the Bride and Groom but for the guests as well. During our wedding we had so many different guests coming up to us saying your Dj's are the coolest people ever!! Corden not only takes the time to interact with guests but also checked up on us throughout the day to make sure that we weren't stressed and enjoying our day.
