I have found my burrito home. Let me tell you, Qdoba is awesome!!! Each burrito comes packed with so much juicy flavor! They are never stingy with their portions. In addition, they offer free drinks with student ID and the best part? The free guacamole! Ever since I discovered this place, I have been a regular since. I haven't tried any of their other options - yet - because their burritos just hit the spot for me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They have a variety of options and their prices are pretty decent. Servers are pretty friendly too and don't act like they want to take the food home at the end of the day and hence give mice sized portions (ahem chipotle). I love QDOBA!! over chiplote any day! This location is actually pretty awesome, its clean, lots of good seating and its in a mall with tons of parking. The service is always great and I never seem to have a problem. The lines do tend to get really long around school time is over which can be a drag with the HS kids but overall I recommend this place. read more

I've tried Chipotle. I've tried Qdoba. Drawing comparisons are important, so... I'm a hardcore fan of Qdoba. I found that Qdoba is overall cheaper. This is made even more significant when you have to pay for guacamole at Chipotle, which simply racks up the price. (You don't pay for guac at Qdoba) Don't even forget the sauces, it's wonderful (also something not in Chipotle) The taco shell for the bowl is DELIGHTFUL (as of my knowledge right now, only Qdoba does this). I've never had a bad experience at Qdobas. Seriously. The only thing that bites, are the long lines. But hey, it's an exercise in patience, n'est-ce pas? So I have to say that these people are super patient to put up with my fussy vegan orders. Their veggies are always fresh and the lettuce is super crisp. I only wish they'd serve a non creamy based dressing, but hey, that's what all those sauces are for and they've got really good pico de gallo (and for someone who's super fussy about raw tomatoes, they're doing a great job). The guacamole is pretty decent. I have to add a lil salt and pepper to it to jazz it up. But they give you a huge mound (extra charge) so I'm pretty stoked. Chipotle isn't that generous with their guacamole. Overall they are the freshest and reasonably priced food to get in the Fresh Meadows area. I like the outdoor seating too. The food is good, but not great. And that's okay because it's not an expensive place. My biggest complaint is that they do a very poor job of moving the line effectively. The first server will continue to take orders even though there is a backlog towards the middle and end of the line. So this leads to your food just sitting on the counter and getting cold. It happens almost ever time I go there. Don't know why they can't hire an extra worker to avoid this. Also, there is usually a bottleneck at the end with the cashier being too slow. Go if you don't mind those downsides. read more

For a chain restaurant this place is A-ok. I actually go here with my daughter . She loves the pork nachos. The queso sauce is really good even though it doesn't look that appetizing and their chips are sprayed with a lime juice so that gives them a kick. I heard that the location on bleeker street isn't as good but this location is great. They don't skimp on the ingredients and they are friendly and fast. I actually like the, better than Chipotle. I love the extra hot hot sauce that you can get on whatever you order. they actually have three that you can choose ranging in hot to hottest, something like that. I like the, because they are cheap, fast and fresh ingredients for your money when ur on the run. read more

Went there last Saturday for the first time and received an order to go of beef tacos, chicken burrito and cheese quesadilla. It was just ok, to me not much taste and the chicken burrito should have more chicken in it. Baja Fresh and Chipolte are better options. Be careful of this restaurant, i had a catering order and to my surprise when i got my credit card bill, they charged my card twice. And one charge is even higher that what it was supposed to be. When i called they want to put my call to other peop!e. When i got upset, you know what that francesca girl told me i was rude and unprofessional because i was defending my money over $250.00 more than i should pay. I am one of the few souls who likes Qdoba more than Chipotle. I just think their stuff is fresher, mostly. Chipotle uses a bit more spice, which I'll give them. But that's nothing a little green salsa can't take care of. Qdoba is a better value over all. The last time I was at this locartion, they had a pick 2 for the price of 1 deal or something. They had rotating lunch specials all month, and it was a great value. Queso is delish, burritos are yum too. Guac is solid! read more

Do not be fooled by the photo's or the reviews here. Went a few nights ago after a movie. Have not been there in a few years. Just wanted a fast bite. I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla . It might if had 10 miniscule tiny pieces of chicken in it. Same with Tomatoes & Cheese. It was so thin it looked like a piece of cardboard. My Kid got a bowl from the same person who made mine. I ordered extra chicken & everything she wanted bc I see that unless you pay for extra everything you get a very small meal. Not even worth the $10.00 they charged. Needless to say, I will not be back for a stingy place. Yes , the items are ok.. But it is insulting to see the portions. I might go back just to take a picture. read more

The new taco menu SUCKS it takes 3x the amount of time to make 1 persons order - come on people get a burrito and keep the line moving! You can't help but compare with Chipotle, it's the exact same thing, same concept, pratically same ingredients just different names and apparently different quality. $9 for a chicken burrito with guacamole. Tastes pretty good, but not nearly as good as Chipotle. It's also about half the size of Chipotle burrito (w/ exact same ingredients). Bottom line, there's better but if you're craving americanize mexican and you're in the area, this is a decent place to stop by. read more

Decent spot for a quick meal to go. Often crowded during the day with college students and the Belieber crowd. Food is consistent but the portions are luck of the draw, some of the servers are heavy handed and some are on the lighter side. read more

Having eaten here several times I was not compelled to write anything particularly for or against this place. However....on.our last order, we were ready to enjoy a relaxing meal of tacos and nachos with our movie of choice only to find out when your selecting from the wide assortment of nacho toppings....MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY YOU WANT NACHOS WITH YOUR NACHOS. Nice container of overly wet, soupy ingredients, but the chips seemed to not make the cut as they were nowhere to be seen. When we called the restaurant we were told that the delivery person must have forgot them, however I doubt it was the delivery guys fault because we did not have a large order and there was plenty of room for the chips. We were told the chips must have been forgotten by the driver, yet why would you pack chip in a separate bag when you know the driver has multiple deliveries and there is plenty of room with the rest of the order to include a small bag of chips???? Long story short. Salads are awesome but be weary if you actually enjoy nachos. read more

I wanted to give a zero star rating but it's not an option unfortunately. My friend and I literally waited on the line forever to get served. The food was horrendously prepared (worse than any fast food chains out there) and this store's employees have major issues with adding basic ingredients to the customer's orders. Additional trainings on customer service and food preparation would be highly encouraged for this particular location. I come here multiple times a month-- sometimes multiple times a week. The staff is always super friendly! The rewards program is great: 11th meal is free. You can also get a free fountain drink with a student ID. The chicken taco salad is my go-to & the craft 2 is a good choice if you can't decide what you want. I may possibly be bias to the fact that I've been going to this Qdoba ever since I started attending school nearby. If you're a student, you can show your student ID and get a free drink. I can honestly say I love Qdoba so much that I enrolled in a Qdoba card and have gotten 4 free meals within my two years of registry. (Buy 10 meals, get 1 free) Overall, I feel like Qdoba's food is a lot more tasty that Chipotle. Chipotle's quality might be a lot better, but definitely not as flavorful. You get what you pay for at Qdoba. So if you're going to buy one taco that's $2.75, don't expect a lot of meat. This location would mostly be flooded with high school kids starting 11am. During lunch, it definitely is too crowded to grab a seat, so I suggest to either come earlier or later in the day if you're wanting to dine in. read more
