    Honey Chipotle Chicken Bowl
    Brandon N.

Guac Time has become my late-night go-to. I always order the bowl -- it starts at $10, but with honey chipotle chicken it comes to $13 (extra meat for $3.50). My usual build is white rice, black beans, corn, mango salsa, red onions, hot salsa, and mango verde sauce. What sets this place apart is the generosity -- they give you real heaping scoops of meat, not the skimpy portions you'd get at Chipotle. The honey chipotle chicken is sweet, smoky, and perfectly grilled, and when it mixes with the mango, onions, and sauces, every bite is bursting with flavor. Because the portions are ridiculously jam packed, I usually split the meal into two, leaving my leftovers for the next day. They're open until 3 AM, which makes it perfect for late-night cravings!

Clean store and the quesadillas are amazing as you can put what you want in there to make it full and tasty.

The place is ok. It's spacious inside but gives off a cafeteria feel. You order from the end of a long counter and pay at the other end. Then you wait for them to call your order. I got the two beef birria tacos. My daughter got the chicken tenders. The tacos were just ok. I guess it's not fair to compare them to the ones I had in San Diego. They added mozzarella cheese which my husband didn't like. They gave generous amounts of meat. The consume was not very flavorful. The chicken tenders were very big but you can taste that they fried it in old oil. If you need a quick taco meal, this isn't a bad place.

Came here at 11pm on a whim to try their churros which were recommended to me, happy to report the churros are a 10/10. But the star of the evening was the quesadilla I ordered with chicken, peppers and onions and some jalapeños. It was juicy, crunchy and stuffed with meat!! The quesadilla took a while to make but I'm pretty sure it was being made with patience and love because I cannot get over how delicious it was. Will be coming back to try their burritos. Give this place a try it's worth it, food is fresh and flavorful.

Recently opened in the heart of Bell Blvd right next to the LIRR. Inside seating area for eating and set up similar to Chipotle. Menu shown on TVs above where the food is prepped. Good variety of options: tacos, quesadillas taco salad bowl, salad bowl, rice bowls. Prices vary depending on the protein; different chicken options, fried fish, steak, cauliflower. Went with a taco salad bowl, jerk chicken. They have a nice array of topping choices from beans, peppers, cheese sauces, shredded cheeses, pico de gallo, mango salsa (actual mango pieces used), corn salsa/relish, onions, rices, and dressing going from no spice to very spicy. I decided to try the habanero dressing and it did not disappoint. Great taste, it was delicious and definitely enough for two meals. Sturdy packaging and fresh ingredients. Just over $13 with tax. Looking forward to trying other options and giving the last star.

I order a burrito bowl with grilled chicken. Make sure you know what Grilled chicken is because they say it was obviously that this chicken was spicy. I told them I can't have spicy because of a medical condition, they say they can't do anything about it. The lady, started laughing at me saying it wasn't her fault. No help, no response from them, absolutely nothing

Stopped in to try the newest addition to Bell. First off, the chips and guac tasted SO fresh - while the guac could have used a smidge more salt, the freshness of both made it a delicious side. The jerk chicken tacos were amazing - great flavor, great toppings, delicious queso. The crunch wrap was incredible cheesy - but that's what you want from one - so it was another great item. We had that with the grilled chicken. A welcome addition to Bell - even if it is a bit on the pricier side.

Stopped by today, right after their grand opening yesterday. The place is spotless and has a great setup, plus it's super convenient being right next to the LIRR Bayside station. I went for the burrito bowl, the portion was generous, and it was absolutely delicious. The only downside was the service. The employee didnt greet me, smile, or say goodbye. She/he seemed like she didnt want to be there, which was a bit of a bummer. It didnt ruin the vibe, but it was noticeable. Still giving 5 stars because I think they've got potential, and I'm hoping the service improves as they settle in.

There was a random bowl in front of the staff with just rice and I asked for 2 bowls. There wasn't enough rice so she asked me to wait bc it's coming out soon. Once the rice came, she tries to scoop my protein onto the rice bowl that was sitting there. I asked her if I can get a new one bc I never saw her scoop the old one and I didn't feel comfortable. She rolled her eyes and gave me mad attitude. Regardless after this experience I won't be returning PLUS the steak was horrendous. This is my second time ordering a steak bowl and it's so tuff. To the point I couldn't even chew it. And I'm convinced ur steak is boiled not grilled. Work on your customer service. No wonder u have a 2 star rating. Now I'll be going to moho on bell. They have amazing staff .

This review is for take out. We've had their birria tacos and birria pie. The tacos were great. We ordered the birria pie twice. It was a hit at first but a miss for the second time. They put a good amount of cheese when we ordered it the first time and almost none the second time.

Food tastes pretty good. And when I went here the girls were nice to me. I think this place has potential. The previous place here was Wild fig , I posted a review about a year ago saying it tasted bad and they shut down now apparently. Hope this place keeps good quality food and doesn't raise prices too much.

It's been six years since I last came here. The food is still pretty good and the service was…read morefriendly, but overall I found the sandwiches a bit overpriced. The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.

Staff greeting and welcoming you with a warm smile when you walked in. Ordered at the counter, would take 10-15 min to make the sandwich. Ambiance wise = Love the hipster comic-styled wallpaper. Super genuine staff and great service as well. Can pay with cash or card, but there's a small service fee being charged for card. Besides getting the Angry Nonna Sandwich ($15.50), also ordered the regular fries that came with spicy mayo ($6.53) + a Krave It pineapple pop soda ($3.96) to wash everything down. Staff brought everything to the table even though it was only self serve. 1) Angry Nonna Sandwich: The mildly spicy sauce was delicious and savory. Chicken parm was seasoned well and not salty. Bread could've been a little more crunchy imo. Portion size was plentiful and definitely enough for a full meal. 2) Regular Hand Cut Fries: So many widely-cut fries and more fries than I'd imagined for a single order. Worth it! Size wise was like those halal rice platter in aluminum foil container. I got full midway but still finished the whole thing. Fries were definitely freshly prepared and made. Could've been just a little bit more crispier. Spicy mayo was the perfect sauce to dip the fries in. 3) Krave It Pineapple Soda: Refreshing to taste with the sandwich & fries. Don't need a bottle opener to pop off the sodas. Just need to twist it off yourself. Easily done! Their sodas are made of cane sugar. The fizziness felt good against the back of my throat. I plan to keep going back whenever I'm in the area by myself or with friends. Would recommend this spot to other Yelpers, family and friends. They're opened to late hours everyday. Lastly, don't forget to tip the hardworking staff working there!

I do wish that when they are mixing up your salad and putting it back in the bowl that they would slow down a bit because each time a good amount of food has ended up spilling out on the counter and not making it into the bowl. Today when I went, the bread for one of the three salads I ordered was burnt. I asked for a different bread and they accommodated me, however they put the burnt bread that was touching my salad back into the bread section. I think this could cause issues potentially if anyone were to get that piece of bread and were allergic or had a food intolerance to any of the items in my salad. He had been here before and had good things to say - since I'm a fan of Greek food, it only made sense for us to stop here, so off we went. There's no shortage of Greek restaurants in Bayside, and Avli sits among several of them on Bell Blvd. The space has a somewhat casual set up, but it's not too laid back - kinda caught in between. The restaurant is larger than I expected, with a front area containing booths, a back room with tables, and even further back they have a spacious outdoor seating area. The decor isn't too noteworthy - simple and inoffensive. The menu contained classic Greek dishes but also a few more items I wasn't familiar with. They started us with a plate of pita and tzatziki; a standard, but I thought their tzatziki was one of the better ones I've had; smooth and full of flavor. We also ordered the keftedakia and honey feta to start; the former were probably the weakest component of our meal, they had flavor but were over-fried. The honey feta was very good - lots of honey to balance the cheese, but surprisingly not heavy. For my main, I got the grilled stuffed chicken, which came with my choice of sour or salad (I got the former) and side (I chose lemon potatoes). For soups, my brother recommended the avgolemono which was delicious - the combination of the chicken, orzo, broth, and lemon worked really well together. The stuffed chicken itself was delicious - the meat itself was pounded thin, and balanced really well with the feta and spinach stuffing. I'm too used to stuffed chicken dishes being haphazardly assembled, but I can tell this was made with care. Service was very good - the whole team was friendly and food came out at a good pace. Overall, I had a great meal Avli - it's some of the best Greek food I've had in a while (take my non-Greek opinion as you will), and I would definitely consider returning if I'm in the area again.

Since I love hot chicken, I wanted to try this local spot that advertises itself as Nashville style. I recently had Dave's Hot Chicken so that's my comparison. This business actually used the Dave's stock images on their Yelp photos, so it's clear they are trying to emulate them. The chicken tenders are lightly breaded white meat that is in between juicy and dry, actually a little juicier than Dave's. The breading is light and crunchy, but not very flavorful. They deliver on spice though! I ordered two sliders: one medium and one extra hot. I will say their spice levels are accurately named. The medium was just a hint of heat, while the extra hot made my head sweat. The person working there mentioned they couldn't do two different spice levels for an order of tenders+side, but only if I ordered sliders+side. Really not sure why they operate that way since the chicken would be prepared the same way. They did write the spice levels on the inside of the lid to distinguish between the two sliders. The fries were just average fries with a hint of Cajun seasoning sprinkled on. I thought the potato buns were the right choice due to the fluffiness, paired with the light crunch of the chicken with the pickles and house sauce, which was a low-heat spicy mayo rendition. Not very flavorful. The actual interior was not the cleanest and it didn't seem very well maintained. The tables were not wiped down and overall seemed a bit dingy.
