This is one of those places that I just love and I'll go multiple nights in a row to satisfy my little fix. Their Cholula chicken is so good they got me into liking this hot sauce on everything. I always have a good time at Qdoba. I went there little before 12 and beat the lunch hour rush. All ingredients were prepped freshly and they were ready to serve you. Restaurant was clean and nicely organized. It's definitely a great way to get your food fast but also pack up on nutrients and flavors. They offer so many different protein option. Queso and guac added for free of charge. There is lots of construction happening around the Costco business center so that the entry can be tricky since it's tucked away by the movie theater. What an absolute disaster. I ordered a steak burrito with rice, pinto beans, and queso, and I figured I'd grab some chips, guac, and a brownie, too. But NOPE. There was no brownie, no guacamole, nothing. The burrito had black beans and no queso. Who the hell intentionally eats black beans? I'm already pissed at this point, but as I eat the burrito, it starts falling apart, just unraveling in my hands like it was wrapped by a toddler. Oh, and the rice? The damn rice was crunchy! Who the hell messes up rice? It's rice! Boil water, throw it in, walk away. But no, they gave me this half-cooked bullshit like they were trying to save time. I can't say that anything about this visit was a down side. Except that my bowl was empty and I was still hungry. I chose the salad bowl. The lettuce was crisp. The sautéed veggies were al dente. The pork was well seasoned but not too salty. I liked that the sour cream was in a squeeze bottle. It meant that there wasn't just one bug dollop o sour cream that was gone in two bites. The pico de Gallo was tasty but not too hot. Furthermore, they were happy to put hot sauces on the side. The sprinkling of cheese they gave me was tasty, but gone in about three bites. Where were the black olives? Did I miss them? And the serving of meat. Just a little too skimpy for my liking. Lately I've been providing every restaurant 5 stars God Damn. I mean I'm not complaining but I like keeping it real ya know! Don't want anyone thinking I'm playing favorites and being a Mr. NiceGuy. WELL. Me and the lady come to QDOBA almost EVERYTIME we finish watching a movie at Tikatnu theater. It's just a thing we do. The 20 maybe times we have been here we have not ONCE been disappointed. I honestly don't understand the other reviews. Y'all expecting to much. It's a $12 mountain of nachos with literally unlimited toppings. It can feed 2 to 3 people. The cheese is yummy and their toppings are so fresh! I ALWAYS see someone in the back cutting up fresh tomatoes or avocados. C'mon! Even the tacos are good. Sure they are simple and not as good as any authentic Mexican joint. But for $3 you can load up your taco. It's really not a bad deal ESPECIALLY when comparing this to other local restaurants in Alaska. Prices are good and food is good. Fun to eat and filling! So first off, I have to say that I believe that Qdoba is just as good, if not better, than Chipotle. They keep their menu small, straight to the point, and often have new foods or salsas to try for a limited time. Another note: they have the BEST queso! Cheesy and great flavor. You can ask for a small or big cup (recommended if you order a burrito.) or get it put directly in your food. The guacamole is delicious as well and isn't an extra charge. They do offer a few kids menu items, too. For sweets, they have brownies or cookies. Yum! Don't forget to download their App to earn reward points with each visit for free items. read more

Qdoba is one of the places I will go for "fast food". I am not a fan of fast food for the most part but I love the freshness that QDOBA offers. I have been to this location three times and have had good experiences for the most part. I typically order a burrito and mix up the meats. I loved the brisket that I ordered this time. I also love the mild queso and the guacamole. My husband decided that QDOBA beats Chipotle during our recent visit, impressed by the amount of options and the well-seasoned meats. There is one younger gentleman who I find to be a bit pushy and rude who works here. He has been working 2 of the 3 times I have come and each time, he has made our experience a bit less than perfect. The other employees are always cheerful and helpful. This will continue to be one of our go-to fast food joints when in Anchorage. read more

I decided to stop in here after finishing up errands around town and completing Christmas shopping for relatives. This Qdoba is located off of North Muldoon in the large shopping center sandwiched between Regal Cinemas and Wild Wings N' Things. The place was moderately busy with a decent-size seating area although not as spacious as the Abbott location. I was greeted by one of the employees behind the counter who took my order. I decided to order one of their Quesadillas with a side of tortilla chips and a drink. Here was where the experience merited two stars for this review. The employee behind the counter asked which ingredients I wanted for the quesadilla. Being that there was no one behind me at the time, I took a little time to decide what I wanted. The young guy became impatient and frustrated at this and started preparing the quesadilla with an attitude. I was caught off guard by his sudden change in demeanor, but I was too hungry and proceeded to finish my order. The order came up to almost $20.00 along with the chips and drink, way too much for the amount of food and the side of attitude I got with my order. I settled down at one of their tables and tried the quesadilla. It was a major disappointment with very little flavor from the onions, black beans, rice, pico de gallo, sour cream, and ground beef. Not even the guacamole on the side could save this. The chips on the other hand were good with the side of salsa I requested, but still not worth the amount I paid with a regular-size Iced Tea. A surprisingly disappointing dining experience from what should have been a good way to close out such a busy day around town. Ever been to Chipotle? Well this is almost exactly like it, but a touch less flavorful. It's still a good place to grab lunch. You have the option of making a burrito, tacos, taco salad and a few other things. They also have a great selection of meats and fixings for your burrito or whatever you get. If you have a chance to try their queso, it's delicious with the crunchy chips. I rate this place 3 stars due to the customer service. The younger lady with the glasses almost always looks annoyed or irritated and she did not make me feel welcomed at all. I felt rushed because of how impatient she looked. The other lady however, a taller one seemed so much sweeter. Another shortage of stars is due to the lack of freshness that Chipotle seems to possess. I normally don't write bad reviews, but I'm really disappointed. I paid $13 for the Keto Brisket Bowl and it was delivered stone cold with barely any food in there (it was delivered within 15 minutes so that's not why). Normally when I go to Qdoba they load up my burrito bowl! My husband got the same thing and feels the same way. I told my husband to just get 2 but he insists on having it all in one, and boy do they fit it all in there without breaking the tortilla! I had not been to a Qdoba i about a year. I was not expecting much, to me it had become tired. Consider me impressed by the updated Taco menu. Gone is the Subway-like menu presentation and instead there is a small set menu. I imagine you could tweak your tacos or burritos just like you always have, but the tighter menu helps move the line and focus both the patrons and the staff. I also used to hate the chopped chicken. It used to feel rubbery and gristly. I had a new drunken chicken taco and enjoyed it. I still prefer the pulled pork option, but chicken is back on the plate for me at Qdoba. Now honestly, Qdoba is a fast food option for me. I almost never drop to McDonalds or Wendy level starvation, so if I'm hangry and want it to go fast, I'll hit up Qdoba (or maybe Smashburger, Top Bop, or MVP Sports Deli and Eatery.) Yelp asked me, what keeps bringing me back here ... can I be honest? It's their everything. Super convenient being super close to my job, that's another large factor. But for real. Their customer service is bomb. Their workers, also super creative with their food. Every time I am there they have me try something new. For example, 3 cheese queso with a splash of chicken tortilla soup ... if they have not had you try it yet, you're missing out. Their burritos are a beaut,' minus the lack of symmetrical taste, but I won't complain. And their monthly new quesos are enough to keep me coming back! (To be fair, I'm considered a 'Champ' thanks to Qdoba's Reward program - a program all Qdoba lovers should look into. Who can say no to $2 chips and queso with a *surprise*?) read more

Customer service here is atrocious. Anchorage as a whole has pretty bad service in even the nice restaurants, but this place really stands out in the handful of times I've been to this location. There are a few that try, that's why I give them two stars, but most of the employees act like they are in pain to be there. I get that it's fast food but at least try to be pleasant. Especially when I'm putting forth the effort to be courteous to you. And just a look around the place and how trashed and messy it is should be another indicator of this locations quality of service. Great first visit here. Visually inviting as you walk in. The customer service was quick and pleasant. I was there around 6:30 pm on Wednesday, 15 Dec 2016. There were several customers in the dining area that seemed to be enjoying their meals. Music playing was not to loud for me to hear the two customer service guys asking for my order along the assembling line. I ordered a tequila lime chicken burrito. It was more than enough for a meal. Some original queso and chips on the side was delicious too. The unoccupied tables were clean as I scanned the dining area. The only thing I would want added would be stevia packets for my unsweet tea. If you're familiar with Freebirds, it's like a Freebirds, but without all the hippy stuff. It's just about burritos, and pretty decent burritos. So, let's start with the fact that your sign says you close at 11. I'm there 10 minutes before y'all close only to find the door locked and y'all are in the middle of deciding food while looking at us. Soo, you're customer service sucked, and your sign is a lie. If nothing else make sure to add "ish" after 11 so that we know you really mean 10:30. It's upsetting that you let your employees lock the doors that early while the sign says the other. I'm not sure things are done all I know is that everything about this place is lacking when it comes to their service. Good food doesn't make up for it.
