I always have trouble finding a good nail shop were I can get my acrylic nails done. I love the way Trish does my nails and she is up to date with with the claw nails. Love it... plus I always get compliments on my nails. Finally found a nice place that can complicated my needs. read more

Went in to get a gel manicure and it was horrible. I ended up with acrylics and gel. I stated that my main concern was that I didn't want my nails to be thick and fake looking. The girl rushed through my service because one of her regular guests walked in and was getting her service done with another employee. When I walked out of there my nails were soo thick and the gel was wrinkly looking on two of my nails. It looked like I had blobs for nails. On top of it all the back side of my nails had blobs of glue from the tips she had glued on. Never again going here and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Every time I come Trish treat me great and does an amazing job with my gel acyrlics :) Even with all my special requests. Ana is amazing at doing my pedicures. What they lack in space they make up for in customer service. I would recommend making an appointment for acrylics as they are a small business trying to stay overhead by maintaining there staff level low. Overall an amazing nail salon for a girls day or monthly maintenance. I love their eyelash extensions and did not suffer any major eyelash loss from it, keep it mind I go back to get them removed before each refill :) love all the girls here ! read more

I've been coming here for years and have been coming to Trish for about 10 years even prior to her becoming the owner. This is the best place I have ever been to get my nails and pedi done. Trish and Anna (does pedicures ) do an impeccable job. It's a fun, friendly place and the prices are completely reasonable. Trish also does waxing and does beautiful eyelash extensions too. It's pretty hard for me to not write nice reviews or at least give a business the benefit of the doubt, especially on one visit. In this case, I'll never be back here. I came here only because a friend suggested it and wanted to have some girl time. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Both services were just ok. Nothing amazing but just ok. Hardly any massage or scrubbing and rushed. The thing that put me over the edge was the fact that the technician who did my pedicure finished with someone immediately before me and just scooted over to my spa chair and got started. She never cleaned off her little cart from the previous customer. All of the dirty utensils, files, bottles etc were still laying there from the lady she just finished. She started right on on me without cleaning anything off and switching to a new clean working surface. I was mortified. She grabbed the clippers and I asked her if they were clean and she said yes and clipped away. How could they be?! She just used them on the lady next to me! Annoyed, she then grabbed a container that had clean utensils in it but she would lay those clean utensils right on top of the dirty ones from the other lady! She even grabbed one utensil to use on me and as she is starting to touch me with it, she realized that it was the dirty one from the previous customer, so she laid it down and grabbed the clean one. I am seething at this point. When it was time to file me she grabs the already used little purple file cube from the previous lady and I stop her and ask "is that a new file? It doesn't look like it and..." then she cuts me off and barks "OK!". Clearly annoyed she got a new cube file. I continued with my pedicure and manicure as I was with others and couldn't just walk out. Obviously this place places NO value is being sanitary nor are they concerned with cross contamination. I will never step foot in here again. I'm also praying to the good Lord that I do NOT get any infections. I just don't understand not caring and being CLEAN. read more

I read Q's Yelp reviews before deciding to give the salon a try. I did note that customer service was not stellar. I walked-in at 1:30pm and asked if I could make two mani/pedi appts for 3:30pm. I was told yes by the lady who seemed to manage the salon. We entered at 3:25pm and reminded the "manager" of our 3:30pm appointments. She said, "Yes, appointments." We were then instructed to select our colors. I had surveyed the situation upon arrival, the salon still had the same three workers I saw earlier. Yet, there were two men waiting for pedicures (not sure if any other services - at the time - with one worker already serving one), one lady selecting nail polish along with us - and had the "manager" waiting for her, one lady allowing her nails to dry, and a customer in the middle of her manicure. After selecting our polish, we were directed to sit in spa chairs with running water. My water was cold. Not even warm. I told my daughter my water was cold and she said hers was hot (but not too hot). Overhearing me, a worker came to drain my tub and add hot water. Still not enough hot water; my feet were in cold water. The same lady added cold water to my daughter's tub which then made her water cold. Nobody came to regulate the water or to ask how we were doing. We were both having a cold soak. Never did the "manager" update us. Did she think as long as she didn't acknowledge the situation, we would be oblivious? We watched and waited. No communication which I found even more disrespectful. After a twenty-five minute wait, the "manager" was ready for one of us. She approached me, but I told her we waited too long and needed to leave. I told her nicely and calmly that I wished she either told me she couldn't make appointments or given us an update once we entered the salon. Q obviously did not honor my appointments. My theory is that there were walk-ins. The very least Q could have done, told walk-ins that they have two 3:30pm appointments; and if we were no-shows, they would be next. I'd hope customers would completely understand and appreciate a respectfully run business. The "manager" was profusely apologetic, but her decision came too late and at a cost. She mentioned the men were getting pedicures. We were getting manicures AND pedicures, and we would have considered returning (as we are regulars at Xylem Salon, just south of them). I considered leaving a few dollars for the cold water soaks, but we quietly exited - with no plans to return. read more

My friends and I went here for the first time today and it was absolutely fabulous! We all got gel manicures and regular pedicures and they turned out beautifully. The staff was quite pleasant and very friendly. Good prices and great outcome. I will definitely come back :) read more

I went in today for my first time and had a gel mani (I couldn't understand the name of the girl that did my nails, not Trish, but she was very detailed!) that came out great! I'm actually really surprised by the low rating. It's not the biggest or nicest place I've ever been but not worth a one star...I went here because my husband gave me a giftcard and after seeing the low rating I was a bit worried. There are only 2 spa chairs, its very small...but I will say I had one of the best pedicures here. The ladies were relatively friendly but not overly so, easy to understand, and didn't chatter to each other (in that seemingly about you as you sit there way), and there wasn't an overly rampant acrylic smell like most places. The lady who did my pedi took her time and was attentive...and my mani was good considering you get it for 3 dollars extra (what a steal). It is pretty cheap, so you can't really expect the world but I was well satisfied...would I get acrylic here? Probably not since that is the reason for the bad reviews, but will probably go again for just a pedi/mani. read more

I'm wavering between 2 and 3 stars. I want to give them 3 because the people are very nice and accommodating. However, I feel the need to warn ladies to be very careful when allowing people to work around your eyes. I decided to get eyelash extensions 2 weeks ago...several friends raved about how great it was to have them. I had a party, wedding, and Christmas all over the next few weeks and thought "why not?!" I wish I could go back and undo that decision. It was far more painful then I expected...obviously, this is not normal. Maybe my eyes are sensitive...I don't know if she did something wrong (too much glue, too close together, too many attached to one section...) but, after one week I had to go back and have her fill in a couple spots where clumps of 3-4 eyelashes had fallen out. After another week, I simply couldn't stand the irritation and sensitivity, so I went back to have them removed. Here's the BEWARE! The gel remover is a chemical...I now have 3 extremely red, dry, painful patches of skin around me eyes! The damage to my eyelashes will hopefully grow back, but I'm more concerned about the potential permanent damage to the delicate skin around my eyes. Think twice and do lots of research before having this procedure done anywhere. It might not be worth the brief "pretty eyelashes!" I know it wasn't for me. read more
