I went and got a gel manicure and pedicure. The way the finished product looked was not pleasing. The gel was all clumped in one corner and coming down on to my skin. Never Again Will Get My Business. I also didn't like the fact that the tools they were using did not look like they were sanitized from the previous person they worked on. Came in bc my usual spot is closed on Sundays and my nails NEEDED a fill badly. Was a walk-in and the house was full. Only waited 10 mins. I got Trish and she was so bubby, definitely helped me feel at ease since it was my first time here. She completed my fills with nail design and all within 40 mins although I must say,my nails were uneven which I didn't notice until I left, lost one star right there. I also brought in my mom whom was helped my a different nail tech. She gets gel and she was done about 5 mins after I was. One star down bc my mom's nail tech coughed towards my mom a couple times without covering her mouth or excusing herself. One more star down after seeing my mother's gel mani. Poor quality from that nail tech. Definitely will b going back to my regular nail salon. It's a little more costly but MUCH BETTER quality service. Had to tell the nail tech to re-do the entire gel mani. It looked like it was smudged off and parts of the nails looked faded. Not going to pay extra if the job is done poorly. When I told my mom's nail tech that my mother's nails needed to be re-done, she indeed gave me a face. After complaining about my mom's mani, they talked in their own language. Rude, period. Trish was more then understanding as opposed to my mom's nail tech. Trish ended up taking over my mom's mani and with a smile. My mom's gel mani came out ten times better than the original mani after Trish took over. Was nice coming in to try out the place but I will be sticking to my original nail tech. read more

This place, firstly, left my fiancé's nails in awful condition. We went in to get an acrylic set and the woman was absolutely rude.. had headphones in the entire time she was working on the nails. The woman spent 40 minutes filing the nails as well , which made them half the length. Secondly, she CUT my fiancé not once , but THREE times somehow or another, and these are supposed to be professionals ??? REVOKE THE LICENSE. Perhaps gel nail is fine here, but these woman can NOT apply acrylics whatsoever. My fiancé's nails are also uneven by a long shot, middle finger on one hand is one length, and on the other , it's such a large difference in size variance. On top of this all , they charged us 25$ when the price clearly states 22$ for acrylic. And she filed them down so that the acrylics were essentially centimeters in length to her real nails... Not only did I get that but I got them curled too (for free) and they look amazing I love them. They makes me feel more comfortable being makeup free because of how great they look. The customer service here today was TERRIBLE. This is my 4th or 5th time here. I came to get a nail fixed and a pedicure. I believe these women profile you or charge you based on your appearance. AVOID THE WOMAN WHOSE PICTURE I AM POSTING. 1st, she tried charging me $7 more than what another woman was getting for a pedicure, that of course was cleared up after I called her a** out ($18 btw). 2nd, she was obviously talking about me cuz the fat woman next to her kept looking at me while talking. 3rd, she did not put my clear coat after the pedicure until Trish (also) asked if she put a clear coat. She LIED to both of us. I got my clear coat then it no longer looked like a 6-year-old did my toes. 4th, she didn't even know how to do acrylics SO EVIDENT by how she was generously slapping on that acrylic. She let the acrylic dry and took her sweet time talking on the phone, going outside, and talking SH*T in a different language b/c she doesn't have the guts to say it in English.(: Trish fixed this woman's terrible acrylic and pedicure work. I'm a kind person, have common courtesy, and always tip even when service isn't exactly what I ask for (I'm too nice) but NO tip this time!! Was not at all satisfied w/ my experience. Took hours to do a full set, I asked for coffin & they were shaped them so poorly. They only used one coat of polish & it came out so thick & they didn't even pay attention to get my complete nail. My sister who I went w/ had one of her nails break off within the first week & mine are already lifting. The work as well as the hospitality was poor & I would not return or suggest this place to anyone. I had to redo my nails when I got home because they didn't file my nails correctly, the nail polish didnt even cover my whole fingernail, and not to mention she cut me. I really like this place. I've gone to Trish for my lashes and she did such a great job that I decided to have gel manicure and pedicure done there as well. I was very impressed at how long my manicure lasted because usually they start peeling after a couple of weeks but theirs lasted much longer. Wow hands down the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done. Horrible experience all around! They should be out of business! There were two women working when I came in to get a pink/white acrylic fill. The younger of the two was already working on someone else, but they started to switch once I came in. They sat me down in a pedicure chair, not at a nail station (and there was a a vacant nail station available). The younger woman clipped my nails and filed them and let the clippings and nail dust fall all over my clothes and feet while her client was waiting for her. The older women started to put on the acrylic and took an incredibly long time for each nail. It was clear after 10 minutes spent on one nail that she had no idea what she was doing. She shaped all of them lopsided and crooked, probably because I was holding my hands at my side, not in front of me. Then another guy came in and took over for her. He clearly saw she didn't know what she was doing and had to correct all of her mistakes, pretty much redoing everything she had already done. The first women got acrylic all over my fingers, underneath the nails on the sides etc, just all over. He worked away on my nails and the other 2 ladies proceeded to gather their belongings, turn off the lights, and then sit and watch me getting my crappy nails done. It was obvious by their and the guys actions they were trying to rush me out of there. After the acrylic was finally done the young woman painted my nails with a clear top coat, but she was on a personal call and put her cell phone on speaker phone so she could talk and paint my nails at the same time. When I got home I couldn't get near my cat because of the toxic fumes coming off of my hands. I have never experienced a toxic smell like that any time I have gotten my nails done. Several hours later my cat still wont let me pet her because of the disgusting smell of my fingernails. On top of the horrible service, my nails look awful!!! The "pink" part is completely discolored with random darker colored parts. Most of the white tips are uneven or trailing off on the sides. Just an awful, awful, poor quality job. I cannot believe that this place is in business with the quality of work they do and their horrible customer service. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and the worst quality of acrylic nails I have ever had done. I wish I could get back the hour and half I spent in this place!!! I'm going to have to go have these nails taken off tomorrow at a different salon. DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE!!! THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! I am absolutely disgusted with this place! read more

The chairs are in great condition and had nice working massagers. However it did not have the spa jet tub which most do they used a standard sanitized tub, the jet ones make me itch. Oh man, yeah this is one of the shankiest and more unprofessional nail salons in Monrovia. There is never a customer in there and I went multiple times and on different days. I was pretty broke but loved having acrylics so I settled for this place because I could get a fill and color change for $10 how can you beat that? well obviously my nails never came out perfect and I found the ladys to be pretty behind on the times even though they were always really nice to me. I couldnt beat the price but I had a couple "final straw moments". 1. Whenever I got a fill it would look nice but the rest of my old nail would have a yellowish tint, looked super ghetto. 2. Instead of taking off your acrylics with the liquid that helps them come off easily she would sit there and chip off the acrylics from my real nails so it was super painful. omg! 3. I wanted zebra print tips, the lady had no idea what I ment or how to do it, i even brought her a picture to help her figure it out, and now they posted my picture on their wall so that other girls might think they did it or something, SUPER TACKY! i just couldnt take it anymore so went somewhere much better for a little more money across the street, Its pretty obvious that I gave that place many tries and they just couldnt cut it..... read more

I went in a few days ago to get an acrylic full set. They told me it would be 22$. Firstly, the older lady who did my nails did an awful and uneven job at doing my nails. After getting home I noticed how uneven my nails were. She also cut my thumb whilst doing my nails. She ended up charging me 25$ because they were "long" when they actually are about the same length as my real nails, which she didn't trim to place the acrylic. went here to get my nails done for my birthday and I loved it! It's right down the street from where I work so it's super convenient for me. I called and asked if I could come in for a gel manicure and pedicure and they told me to go right in. I was helped right away and everyone was super friendly! it is really small in there but everything seemed really clean and professional which is a really big deal to me. They did a great job on my nails too! It came out to $40 for a gel mani/pedi with a scrub to remove calluses. extremely reasonable! I tried another nail place that was bigger and fancier up the street and paid almost that same amount for just a gel manicure and they weren't friendly and they didn't do a good job.
