Baba and Hummus skimpy on pita
Scott P.

Ok - I was really eager for some lamb, Baba, hummus, ... Mediterranean cuisine. Food was good, acceptable and location was convenient. Portions were large and their fries were terrific! I'd rather have airplane visa miles but I try to pay in cash to help small restaurants during Covid. Just as another reviewer posted "do you want your change?" he asked. I was surprised and annoyed. I said, " yes, I do." Then I asked for change for a $5 bill, and tipped him 20% for take out ... no thank-you or acknowledgement at all from him. Imagine my displeasure when I arrive to a spot in the park (after a long walk) and sit down to eat. No utensils, no napkins - Great! Thanks buddy! I like it best, when people take pride and do their best. If it's slow, make sure everything is just perfect for a guest who's going out if their way to support you. Not a half-a**ed effort. Also suggest someone clean up the front entrance, pretty grungy.

Falafel
Sarai L.

My new favorite (non-Mexican) restaurant in town. So so good. We came to have a beer and dinner on a Thursday night. The place was pretty dead (not unusual for Los alamos) and there were only two servers. We got the hummus appetizer with Pita, falafel side, combo plate with chicken that came with rice and salad, gyro with lamb and fries. All of the food was so good. I loved my gyro. Probably one of the best I have had and the fries are the best in town. The falafel had great flavor and the salad had the perfect amount of dressing. The rice was also flavored perfect and pita wasn't dry, which happens a lot. I don't have a single complaint about the food for this visit. The only bad thing was we ordered a beer the $4 IPA and it tasted bad so we asked for the $6 one instead, which was much better. the service was good, but I think one more server there would have been better. Overall,I can't wait to go back for more!

Brik a Loeuf plate
Monica G.

Take out one star because of the chicken is kinda dry in the tangine also the service. The waiter and waitress are nice, it's just they do make me feel that they are really tired. Especially the girl, her voice is so low that we can barely hear her. The brik a loeuf is amazing, I loved it, Greek salad can lose some dressing, I don't like my lettuce drenched in yogurt sauce. I do like their mint tea, it's not very minty though.

Just tasted great. Not a fancy place or location but gets my highest praise. "GREAT GRUB."

I love how you can order from three different place at the the one location. I ordered a yummy smoothy, the 11:11 Angel Kiss and it was more tasty than I could imagine. I also ordered the salmon bowl and it came with a bed of rice, sautéed spinach, and salmon. So filling and plenty of food. I couldn't finish it all but it was good. The service was amazing from all staff and they were extremely welcoming and friendly. The restroom is amazing. Very clean, organized, and decorated so wonderfully. Definitely will return. This location seems to have changed and is now on Rodeo.

I have had a few smoothies and they have all been delicious and beautifully presented. I usually do the dream your own sandwich with sprouts, avocado, onions and spinach with turkey and a side salad and this is what I come back for again and again. The sandwich is ginormous (like barley fits in my mouth), fresh, crisp, packed with veggies and so yummy! Best sandwich in town hands down- sorry Mucho! The service has always been friendly, helpful and thoughtful. The reason the four stars instead or five is they use styrofoam which makes me so sad because they appear to be conscious in other ways, they are selling themselves as a health and wellness bar but use single serving styrofoam cups- so sad. They were using styrofoam clam shells but have recently shifted to plastic last time I was there. The other reason for four stars is the price point- my same sandwich has been a different price every time I go (between $10-$13) with tip it usually ends up being $15- eek! Unfortunately, at that price it is more of a treat for me than a daily lunch spot.

If you're strolling Canyon Road to lookie-loo all the fancy-schmancy southwestern art, then you're…read morebound to see this popular watering hole and wonder, like Jamie W. and I did, whether it was worth a stop for a bite and a sip. It is albeit briefly. The patio was quite inviting though the live music was a tad dreary as she performed a weepy guitar as she sang. The bad news was really that their House Margarita was pretty watered down (photo: http://bit.ly/2KAcL47). Somewhat more passable were the $8.95 bowls we ordered. Jamie tried the Green Chile Stew which was meaty enough and provided a nice kick. The bolita beans and potatoes made it hearty, but the shredded cheddar was overkill (photo: http://bit.ly/2KBa7ew). Mine was the comparatively blander Pozole which they stress is homemade even though the tortillas tasted store bought (photo: http://bit.ly/2KIMl0j). Middling fare among the sculptures. Food was terrible with small portions and outrageous prices. Service was slow. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever get to our table. We sat outside. The musician on the keyboards was a nice touch, but the most annoying part to me was the constant interruption from a man in his eighties trying desperately to hustle us into buying something from his insanely overpriced western wear shop in the same plaza. He tried to guilt trip me into buying something for my fiance. I completely ignored him. He kept coming back for the hustle. Pointing to me he said "He said he'll buy you something." "I own the building" Blah Blah. We drove 800 miles to get here. We wanted privacy for conversation, NOT a hustle. And he never let up. Sat near us and kept yakking. The more I ignored him, the more he glared at me. They don't even come close to understanding that restaurant customers don't come there to listen to him trying to sell you his merch like a timeshare salesman. I felt like I was in a plaza in Barcelona's gothic quarter with people constantly coming to your table trying to manipulate you into buying a collapsable wooden bowl. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
